Numi gestured to the lake. "Want to swim with me?" She asked, not noticing his confusion. A hopeful smile tugged her lips. Maybe I can find a friend in this arden, she thought, her smile widening. Hyga cocked his head to the side in confusion at the arden's request before sniffing the bag. He licked the hand that held it before biting the bag, bounding over to Numi and tackling her into the water. He jumped off her, standing on his hind legs in front of the arden with his paws on their chest, offering the bag.
Seeing the whole happen, Will knelt down at the macy with the bag of pendants. He just touched the bag then the macy ran off to Numi. "Numi!" Will jumped into the water to get her out of the lake.
Numi pushed her head above the water, gasping in a lung full of air. She was breathing hard as she swam toward the shore, trying to blink the water out of her eyes.
"Yeah, I'm...fine." She managed, turning to Hyga. her eyes narrowed dangerously and she spoke in a soft, deadly voice. "Shus fut jaulli tsogep, Hyga! E kyolp huba pjyfmap!" She scolded angrily.
Will hear Numi speak in Ramathian. He then realized that Hyga is also Ramathian, for Hope. "Ok breathe. Deep breath." Will didn't say anything about Hyga.
Numi obeyed, taking deep breaths as she watched Hyga slink away, disappearing into the trees. She noticed the bag and frowned a little. "What's that?" She asked.
Will looked at the bag that was around Hyga's neck. "No idea, but....... he might know." He then pointed to the ardan that was sitting up against the rock.
With Numim next to him, Will walked in front of the ardan and showed him the bag. "I saw you give the macy the bag. Why?"
Veti sat there not hearing the question; he was more in finding the right tune for a song. He soon noticed that the two were close to him. Hmmm. I wonder what they wantÂ…
Will held up the bag. "What's this? I saw you put it on the macy." He was showing a curious, yet a bit of a angry look.
Numi watched the two ardens, a bit confused but staying back for the most part. Hyga was nowhere to be seen.
Veti saw the bag and swipe it. Veti told the arden. “Don’t you know not to take things that don’t belong to you…? It’s hers, if she accepts a parting gift. Oh, and when you ask a question, don’t be rude." Veti went over to the thill and said. “A parting gift for a lovely thill." Veti held the bag out to her.
Numi hesitantly took the bag, blushing lightly. "Thank you." She opened it hesitantly, pulling out the two pendants.
Will was a bit angry when Veti took the bag, without saying something like, <span style='color:gray'>"Oh, that was for her."</span> or <span style='color:gray'>"Thank you for finding it."</span> Will crossed his arms and just said, "You know, a 'Thank you' or a 'That was meant for her, sorry' would have been appropriate"
Veti ignored him and whispered in the thill’s ear. “Name’s Veti," He was about to leave then whispered again. “Oh, check the bush." Veti winked and walked off towards a grassy patch. He took a seat and started playing his guitar.
Numi's ear flicked a little when he moved away, feeling warm. Her blush deepened and she looked at Will, confused. "Um..." She bent down, searching in the bush like Veti had asked.
