Veti opened his eyes and saw them shake hands, but he just went back into his song. “Wealth in when it’s all a blur, but what I was looking for, I’m not sure… Too late, I didn’t see it coming… Yeah… Yeah… Then I crash in the ground, and now I went up in flames, to pin the death on me then you breathe your breath in me…" sang Veti as he hit the right tune for the song.
He looked to the ardan on the rock, then turned back to Numi. "So, who's that on the rock? The one with the guitar?" He looked back to the ardan.

"Um..." Numi turned as well, studying the arden before turning back with a smile and a shrug. "I have no idea."
Will heard the ardan singing. "You know, I'm more of the rock kind of music and songs." He turned back to Numi with a smile.
Veti stopped playing and got up. He went over to a tree and sat next to it. Veti started a new song and was humming the tune, but Veti kept his eyes locked on the two in the water.
Numi smiled back, looking at the arden again. "I don't listen to music that much. Mostly I'm trying to get food for me and Hyga." She said the last part so softly she could barely hear herself.
Will looked at the Macy then back at the young thill. "Hmm, for yourself and your macy, ay?" His eyes was filled with curiousity. "So, are you poor, or something?"
Numi looked up, surprised. "No, not poor. It's just most of the time we're avoiding people and that's where the food is. It's hard to hunt away from 'dragons, but Hyga manages to find food." Numi answered, scratching Hyga behind the ear. He purred, eyes closing blissfully.
Will was confused, yet curious. "Why avoid 'dragons?" He looked at the macy then back to Numi. "There's no reason to avoid other 'dragons."
"Hyga usually isn't very social, and I don't like going around by myself so I stay with him." Numi explained, looking down at Hyga again. He flicked an ear lazily, leaning up against her legs.
It was perfectly understandable when she explained it. "Oh, so you don't friends and its like Hyga is your only friend?" Will the looked at the macy then back at Numi.
Will saw that she was lonely. Mabye a friend is all she needs. "Well, mabye all you...." He was interrupted by a ringing sound. His cell was ringing. "Oh arr give me a minute." He took it out then slipped up the first layer, then pressed the green button, then started chatting.
Numi moved away a few feet as he started talking, bending down to look at Hyga. "Are you ok, Hyga? You're acting strange." She said quietly. Clear green eyes stared back. She frowned a little before scratching his neck and sending him off. He bound right over to the arden playing on the guitar, laying across his lap.
Veti was playing his guitar until a great force was in his lap. He looked down and saw the macy in his lap. Veti smiled and scratched the macyÂ’s ears after that he continued playing his guitar. So, all she needs is a friend other than youÂ… He smiled while listening to his music.
Will moved away from the ardan's noises and singing so he could hear. He pressed his cell against his right ear. "Hello, this is William. Oh, Jello. What's up? Well...... ummm, I guess I could come over. I'm at Magi Lake. Well, it's up to you, if you want me to come now or later tonight. Well, it's 2:45 PM now, so I'll see you at 8:00 PM. How about that? Ok, see you then. Bye." He pressed the green button again to cancel the call. He slipped down the first layer, then put it back in his pocket. He walked back to the thill. "Sorry, it was a friend of mine." He tried to think of what he was going to say. "Mabye all you need is a friend."
"Most people don't like Hyga; they have the same reaction you did. I'd love to make a new friend, though." She turned, looking across the lake, and saw things moving under the surface. She smiled and turned back to Will. "Do you like to swim?" She asked, hesitant.
Will smiled at Numi about wanting a new friend, but he was confused about what she said about the same reaction as he did to Hyga. He then answered the question about swimming. "Yeah I do like swimming. I go with the guys or by myself."
Veti stopped playing and looked at Hyga. He whispered in the macy’s ear. “Take this to the one you follow." Handing something to Hyga, it was a little brown pouch with gold lacing keeping it closed and inside was two pendants, one amber and the other opal. Making a sign of friendship to you. Veti continued to play his guitar.
