Nafel opened her eyes and smiled, flexing her paw. "Quite well, actually. Good job! Have you done this sort of thing before, for friends or something?" As she spoke she twirled her paw around, examining it. Nafel was happier then she let show. Her strength was often taxed, for without her magic tallent she wouldn't have been able to move, much less write. She was able to supplement it, but her hand felt better then it had in a long while. She grinned at the healer-student. "Thanks! This'll probably last for the rest of class, I'm guessing. It solves a good bit of problems."
A big smile went across Eka’s face. She was really happy to be of help. “Yes, I have done some healing for my sister often after her fighting practice. Just small things, but then I started taking classes here and leant more of what I could really do. It should last a while." She then turned back around and started to write down a few more words, but it didn’t last to long before she started to doodle on the paper. She was too happy to do work now and she was starting to get restless.
Nafel smiled as the younger dragon, and went back to copying notes. There were so many! Yawning, Nafel looked at the time device. She thought that it said class would be over soon, but she didn't know. Finishing up her notes, she began to doodle as well. The first thing for her to draw was a portrait of Eka, as she was close at hand. Smiling as her writing tool formed a likliness of her young friend, she signed it. Next she moved on to doing drawings of different things around the class, like desks and plants. I wonder how long this class is... I'm hungry! her stomach rumbled in agreement, and she rubbed it ruefully. She hoped the class would end soon, it had been a while since she had been outside, and she wanted to eat up on the rooftops of the Courtyard, a place she enjoyed.
\\ OOC: *does a dance and sings* Iiiiiii'mmmm sooooo laaaaaaa-zyyyyyyy... XP *hides behind rock* No kille meee! hehe, yesh, Ramathian will be a font, I'm lazy with that too. ^___^;;; I haven't been back to add numbers to the font, or make the space bigger. When I do, it'l be approved, then released. \\ IC Tryphaena nods at Nafel, "There was actually a language before Ramathian, known to us as the language of the gods. Not much is known about the language, really, fewer still can speak it today. Mostly the highest among the temple guardians and leaders know the secrets of that long "dead" language." she smiles. Tryphaena was being subtle. No use sending them on wild goose chases where they wouldn't be able to garner any answers. Giving them enough information to satisfy everyone except the most curious was what she was trying to do. Just about everyone knew about the Ramathian deities, though they had long remained silent, so knowledge of them was even dwindling.. Having their own language was just about natural. Tryphaena continues, "Ramathian took hold a few hundred years after the 'birth' of all the demi-gods. I'd say it's probably not my place to continue there, as that is a job for your history professor." she winks. "But I can tell you, that after the language of the gods, ramathian came about first as an obscure language, then a language that basically ruled the world. For one, ramathian is more gutteral, and was easier for our anscestors to say, so the language of the gods slowly became one spoken by scholars and religious leaders, just as ramathian has become to us today." She grins, "Doesn't it just make you wonder how our descendents will be conversing to one another, thousands of years from now? Perhaps our own language, modern, will have some ancient title to it, and be reserved for the learned." Tryphaena glances up at the clock, then back to her students. A few more questions and she would end this class, and free them all to their other classes, and meal-getting. \\ OOC: mwaha.. ^^; The other reason she can't tell them is it hasn't quite been worked out yet! We're all working on it, though.
Nafel nodded and took notes on her paper with her newly uncramped paw. She made a note to herself to check out the 'Language of the Gods'. It sounded interesting. She began doodling again. Little stick figures, avians, random things. She began to draw a carnivore-avian, a preybird. She embellished it a little, turning it into a drawing instead of a sketch. She smiled and signed the finished result. Her stomach rumbled again. Stupid stomach... What're the serving for lunch today...? Oh yeah, some meat and some new fruits... Wonder if they're from Bhim? She grinned evilly at the last thought. She wasn't sure she would eat something from there.
