Characters cannot be deleted from Shadowlack. All traces of their life must remain intact. In order to successfully "rid" yourself of a character, you must retire them.

To retire a character, go to Manage Characters, and click the "Retire" link next to the character you wish to get rid of. Once a character has been retired, the process cannot be reveresed. Be careful!

Retiring a character costs the same as purchasing a new character slot.
