Zaal is a 5' 10" Yki with well kept white fur covering him from head to toe, with the exception of a pair of burnt umber streaks down each arm and long, midback length head hair, which goes from burnt umber near the top to a more faded brown at the bottom. A pair of dull red eyes complement his hair and contrast with the rest of his body. His usual attire comprises of light coloured shirts, cargo pants and long jackets. Under the clothing and fur he is heavily tattooed. Starting with a half moon design under his left eye, that joins up with a flowing tribal design that runs down his neck, back, both arms, tail and right leg.
History
Born into the Tsyjnaudla tribe, into a smaller clan on the more western shores of Sucam Island. After pursuing a number of trades for a short amount of time, it was discovered he had something of a gift for tattooing. From the ages of twelve to twenty-something, he bounced around from mentor to mentor as he refined his craft. Although a number of his mentorships were cut short when he was caught with his pants down, usually metaphorically but occasionally literally.
After a particularly embarrassing incident involving a misspelt tattoo, he figured that perhaps it was time to widen his worldly knowledge and see the world. He financed his travels through any means he could and with a few notable exceptions never really went without. These days, he is in moderate demand as an artist but also in the emerging field of embedding machina implants in tattoos. Whilst he isn't exactly willing to experiment on himself, they say you're never more than a few hours away from a willing volunteer.
Personality
Zaal is a very patient person, which is a good trait for someone who spends most of their time with a tattoo gun in one hand etching stuff into peoples skin. He has a penchant to speak slowly and softly measuring his words carefully, which puts him at odds with the people he tends to associate with. Once he starts on a task, he is loath to stop before it is done which has lead him into several multi-day binges tinkering with projects. Zaal is also something of a sponge when it comes to information. He absorbs it from everywhere he goes and carries thirty years of random trivia with him at all times. Typically peace loving, he would rather run than fight, and on a somewhat related note, enjoys running very much.
