Destined from birth to be a Shaman from his tribe, as he was born not only smaller, faster, and smarter then most of pool, but he was born closer to Fromina. The other children feared him because of this. And so, a group of his larger brethren beat him in an alley, hoping he would leave. He endured, thinking they were merely jealous of his power. But, when he was to help with a sacrifice, he saw that he was to sacrifice a Khell child. The clan was certain this would give them the power to end their enemies, Sortor saw massacre. And so began the time when his mind turned, about and about, waiting for what the answer to come. The Khell child had died, he could not help with that now. No, but he would help the next time a child was brought to the altar. The next time, it was a Yki child. How it had come to here, he knew not. But he would save it...
