'kay, I found this in my inbox: "Our database tells us that your Ramath-lehi account "Thunderclaw" has been inactive for several months. If you do not wish to lose this account and all data relating to it (your characters), please log into your account and make a post (Your last post was on January 22, 2008). If you do not make a post on the forums (In Character, or Out of Character) within the next thirty (30) days, your account will be removed from our database." This was sent on Jan 23. Now, the post I made on Jan 22 was my first since Oct 24, 2007. I dunno if this goes in under "wrong last post date being sent with inactivity emails" since technically it's accurate, the mail was just sent at an odd time. So, yeah, making sure, and potentially saving my pseudo-lurker skin.
I wouldn't worry about it. :] By the looks of it, the automated email sender was just running slowly. That, and the fact that emails being sent by the server were back logged a while ago.
