Thi Raousi, now a well-known Flitter breeder and shower, had another nest of Flitters to care for. This time It was her Tom and Camek. A nest of 4 had resulted. She had posted on one of the school's notice board of Flitter chicks to be adopted and now waited to see if anyone would respond.
Out of Character

I'm assuming that the dorm room is closed..

Kien walked slowly along the corridor, searching for the right dorm number. She had read that someone needed some Flitters to be adopted. She sometimes find herself lonely and would gladly had liked to have a pet. She looked at the paper which she so messily scribbled the room number. Room 0306. Now she was standing in front of Room 0303. Good. She was near. It took only few more steps and a minute of day dream before she reached it. She lifted up a greyish paw and knocked on the door. She waited for it to open and wondered if she did get one adopted, what a new pet would bring her in the near future.
She lifted her head at a knock on the door. She stood and walked over to it opening slightly so that the loose flitters could not escape. Yes? she asked smiling. Are you here for a flitter?
She folded the piece of paper and put it in her pocket just as the door opened and the breeder's face appeared. Yes, I'm here for a Flitter. she replied. Uh... I've not much experience with pets. Do you think that while I choose a pet, you could give me some tips on how to care for it?
Sure she said smiling opening the door and ushering in the other so that the flitters would not escape. Out of Character

by the way, i love ur avvie

They're um... cute. she stated, not knowing what else to say. They diffinately look different from other pets she'd seen. They were of a... better quality. Was that the word? It didn't really matter. What she know is that the Flitters here were way better than what she saw before. Are they very active? she asked as she watched one of the flitters crawled across her feet. Out of Character

Thanks! got it somewhere while searching for graphics

Out of Character

Ahem, fliiter=birds

They can be she said as her sunkissed patel dive-bombed her.
Out of Character

LOL! I was stupid. Oh sry. the crawling part was okay... I'll edit what i said about her not seeing birds before

So what basically do they eat? she asked. She watched another trying it's best to fly with it's almost-there feathers.Do they consume alot?
Mostly seeds. No, and they're very friendly......most of the time she said the second and lsts parts when a blue flitter landed on Kien's shoulder and slided over to her neck before pecking at her ear and flying off again.
Out of Character

Sorry I'm late!

Hey,ow! she clutched her ear and watched as the blue flitter fly away. She smiled. If I wasn't in this situation, I'd think he's cute. She bent down to play with a beige colored one. What environment do they feel most comfortable in?
she smiled and laughed. It wasn't meant to be mean it was just...well..never mind. These little birds are very resillient, they adapt to almost anything.
The blue flitter came back to her and looked up in an innocent expression. Kien smile at it and carried the small thing up with both her paws. He's really cute. she commented. Does he have any specific behaviour, habits, food or anything that I need to know about? she asked as she began to play with it. Then realising she doesn't know how to genderise flitters, she turned to the breeder. It's a 'he', right?
Not really she said, Flitters just eat seeds, they can get a bit testy and territorial sometimes, and they make really good companions, but thats about it. she laughed as Kien asked her the question Of course it's a he, it's very easy to tell the difference between make and female flitters of my stock. She lifted the little blue's wing to reveal a white band along it's side.
She looked at the white band on the flitter's side and exhaled, relieved. She wasn't up to confusing which one was male and female. Petting the little fellar while it pecked her fur, Kien asked, I'll take him. Is there a price?
Thi rubbed her chin thoughtfully, she hadn't thought that anyone would ask her to buy an adult flitter when she was selling her chicks. She looked down at Kien, but she was a first-time buyer, maybe, no, if she was a first-time buyer, then it was Thi's duty to let her know that people sold only their chicks. Well, I was actually only going to sell the chicks. she admitted.
Kien was slightly dissapointed. Hmm... well. Does this fellar have any generations after him? she asked Thi and looked up to glance at her. If he does, I'd like to have any with blue on it. she shurged. Sorry, I love blue. Anyways, if he doesn't, uh... which chick would you recommend me?
Thi sighed wearily and looked up with her hand over her eyes, trying to remember if he had any generations after and/or who took them. Nopt being able to recall she picked up one of the tan ones. To be truthfull, i can't remember, I've bred so many of these little things. She laughed But perhaps a tan would be best for you, it's usually what comes from blues or another mix, or really you can take anyone you like.
Kien came over and petted the tan bird on its head. She thought about it for a while. She's cute. Kien finally stated. A beep sounded. It was the sound of her digital watch. She took a glance at it. That means I gotta do some travelling. She looked up from her watch and studied the quiet creature. Well if she was going to start to get a pet, she'd have to start from when it is young. And quiet. I'll take her.
Thi nodded and pulled out a thick, poop-covered book. She opened it and wrote down the names of the parents, and the color of the baby. May i ask your name and if you have any name for the baby yet? She said looking up while writing down the parents and babies genetic code into the book.
Kien Amednu. she stated her name. Then she thought hard about the flitter's name. What does it matter anyway? A name was just a name. She'd no idea why anyone would get so worked up on it. She decided to say the first name that popped into her head. Tump
