Timestamp: 33 Tria 81381 (Night) Who: Averin & <span style='color:red'>Nailo</span> Wearing: (Averin: His wings are latched on to one another to make him wear them like a cape, while wearing a military style sleeveless combat breastplate, armored pants, foot wear, and also the belt with NJ on it.) <span style='color:red'>(Nailo: Black torn jeans with a belt with AH on it.)</span> Averin was standing on the pier under the moon light, where in the little town behind him nothing was stirring. Is this my punishment for letting my brother turnÂ…? He looked up at the moon. He soon realized that he was not alone. He turned and saw lots of daemon surrounding him. He unlatched his wing and got ready for something to happen.
Ooc:Baalberith, black and red leather suit, rifle and knife. Baal hates daemons anyday but summoned ones for killing is an all together different hate, not to mention these were the same ones from yesterday so service to say Baal was pissed. Baalberith charged in blasting four of the out of the sky without even looking up, after that he attached his knife to the end and shouted. <span style='color:red'>"Nailo! Where are you come out so I can shoot you!"</span>
Who: Alamu Wearing: Usual black t-shirt and jeans Alamu moved through the sleeping town, staring at the ground. I was stupid enough to think I could fight Nailo. Rocks, she shook her head, sighing. Looking up, she noticed daemons standing on the pier...and there was Averin, ready to spring. Alamu tensed, watching closely, staying out of sight. Her claws were small, but...they could be used for soemthing, right? She shifted into her quad form, so she would be faster, and tried to decide; stay, or run? I'm sick of running, she thought, and jumped forward, slashing one of the bigger daemons in half and jumping back. "I can do this. I can fight." She told herself and jumped forward again.
Averin looked up and saw one figure with a gun and the other he recognized as Alamu attacking one of the daemons. Averin summoned the wind to make a swirling vortex which was only small enough to blow the surrounding daemon away but all of a sudden he heard a voice that he could never forget. <span style='color:red'>“So, Averin what have you been up to... for all these years?" </span>Averin turned toward this empty building. Nailo was standing there with his eyes lock on to Averin. “Nailo! I should have known…" Nailo looked at him. <span style='color:red'>“Ah, come on… is that anyway to treat your brother." </span>With a smile on his face he soon looked at Baal, and then he sat his gaze upon Alamu. He looked back at Averin. <span style='color:red'>“Let me take care of the bystanders and then we can talk, like we usually do…" </span>Nailo started to walk towards Alamu before Averin stepped in his way. “Want to harm them… You have to go through me first." Averin then put his hand on Nailo’s chest and summoned a powerful gust of wind to blast him back but wasn’t strong enough to hurt him.
<span style='color:red'>"Oh no you should have let me do it, I would have taken his head or heart if he has one."</span> He took aim anyway waiting for any signal to fire, his benefactors had told him that Nailo had somehow escaped them and had returned back to the material world. <span style='color:red'>"Just how did you escape from my benefactors? You should have stayed there for all eternity but here you are. You have made powerful enemies not to mention me you will die eventally and when you do your soul will be the "Scorpid Seven's" once more and this time there will be no escape from them."</span>
Nailo laughed at Baal. <span style='color:red'>“You’re still not over the fact, of what I did…" </span>Nailo gazed upon Baal; he raised his hand towards Baal. A dark aura surrounds his hand and he temporary blinded Baal. <span style='color:red'>“Now Averin… let us begin our chat…"</span> but as he said that Averin has already lunged towards Nailo, striking him in every direction. Nailo soon caught one of his strikes, then swung him around and slammed Averin against one the building, and then he swung him in the other direction and made Averin fly into a tree. Averin got up on all four and spat out some blood and looked a Nailo and Averin got back up on his two legs.
Alamu hesitated, unsure what to do. I froze, damn it, I froze! her body screamed at her to run, but she stayed where she was, watching the seen playing out before her. I have to do something...but what? she glanced at the blinded Takula below her. Her eyes flashed and she jumped down, landing behind him with a soft thud. "I'm going to aim for you, okay? You just shoot." She said, using telekinesis to aim the gun at Nailo. Don't move, she though silently, hoping Nailo hadn't heard her.
Baal heard her, he was already feeling the invisible tug on his gun. He closed his eyes as they were useless concentrating on the shot it had to count. He silently switched the dial to maximum in that setting even a glancing blow can rip someone in half. Baal grunted as he fired his whole soul was with that shot he was wiling it to hit to kill Nailo before any damage could be wrought. The four inch wide beam of blue charged across the area, but Baal didn't see if it hit. Shaking his head vigorously clearing his vision but when he turned Nailo was smiling at him.
Nailo was standing there looking and smiling at Baal at the same time. He clenched his right hand and his black tainted blood oozed over his fingers and the back of his hand. <span style='color:red'>“You disrupt my spell, Baal… are you willing to die so quick?" </span>Nailo then turned towards Alamu. <span style='color:red'>“You need to learn your place, little one." </span>In his left hand, a dark aura covered it and then he aimed his hand towards Alamu and shot a dark energy blast. As the blast got closer and closer to her. Averin was in the path of the blast and he took the full blow. The left side of his face, neck, shoulder, and chest was covered in blood. Averin looked up at Nailo. “I will not allow you to arm anyone else… I made a vow, which I will protect those who come to harm by you." Nailo just stand there and smiled at him and then he looked at Baal.<span style='color:red'> “Baal! You want to know how I got out of your prison you threw me in… Well, I’ll tell you how… When you sent me to that forsaken place, you healed me and torture gives me extra strength." </span>He smiled at him and continued. <span style='color:red'>“After escaping that place, I wanted to take my anger out on Averin but now… I get to take it out on all of you." </span>A second later, in his shoulder was a wind javelin. <span style='color:red'>“Brother… You are always the thorn in my side… one day… I will kill you." </span>Has he said that, he went into a puff of smoke and was no where to be seen. As Nailo disappeared Averin fell to his knees and he put his right arm down to hold himself up, but a lot of his blood was dripping to the ground.
Alamu stood, numb, shaking. Averin... one quick look found him on his knees, bleeding. She closed her eyes, fighting back tears, and then, with surprising strength, picked Averin up off the ground. Carefully, she slung him across her back and shifted to her quad form. She looked at the takula apologetically, "I'm sorry." She took off, holding Averin on her back, headed for the cave she had passed earlier. When she got there, she put Averin gently on the ground before rummaging through her backpack. She found a blanket and spread it out, shifting Averin to it before she started making something that would stop the blood. All the while, she kicked herself mentally for being so stupid.
Averin looks at Alamu and he noticed on the expression on the face that she was beating herself for what happened. Averin reached out with his right arm and grabbed Alamu’s shoulder. “Th… This is not your fault… so, don’t beat yourself up for… what just happened." After he said that to her, his arm fell to the ground and Averin passed out.
Alamu watched Averin for a moment before she sighed and put a poultice on his wounds. "Just because I didn't strike the blow doesn't mean it was ok for me to just stand there while you got hurt." She argued quietly once he was passed out. She glanced down again and sighed, wishing she had something more comfortable; a blanket didn't stop the stone from hurting. Alamu looked up at the opening to the cave, uneasy. The cave was too easy to find, and she couldn't move Averin again without knowing for sure if his back or neck was broken. She shifted into a defensive couch, ready to grab him and run if she had to. She gently took his right hand and watched the shadows on the opposite wall, listening to the sounds outside.
It took Baal some time before he gave up his search of Nailo. During this search he mulled over recent events. <span style='color:red'>Just how do I kill him then I can't just shoot him can I?</span> Eventually he found the cave Alumu was in calmly he walked in. <span style='color:red'>"True but then again it was no ones fault just Nailo's. To blame yourself for an act he did is stupid. Also it should be me who's at fault I should have killed him when I had the chance instead of sending him to hell."</span> Baal crouched by Averin looking a little bit sad. <span style='color:red'>"How is he? Nailo is a menace and must be stopped. It seems that this is his brother, he must know what made Nailo what he is."</span>Baal tried not to look aggressive but he did seem it, his even mentioning Nailo brought Baal to a simmering anger.
Alamu focused on Averin again as the takula came in. The bleeding had stopped, which was good, but the wounds looked nasty. "He'll be ok in a couple days. And I can't help but beat myself up; it seems like everyone I come in contact with is either killed or injured." She answered, lettng go of Averin and shifting back. She frowned at the blood, pulling her bag clsoer and digging through it. After a moment, she pulled up a cloth and a canteen. "I'm going to go find some water. I'll be right back." She darted out of the cave and into the trees.
Averin open his right eye only to see Baal crouched next to him but he didnÂ’t see Alamu. Averin force himself off the ground and headed towards the entrance of the cave. He remembered the whole event; he looked towards the village he was in and he walked towards it.
Baal was too surprised to stop Averin, it seemed that he could have been knocked over with a simple gut of wind. After a few seconds of moaning and grumbling he took after Averin. <span style='color:red'>"You can't be serious, your not actually gonna fight him?</span> Baal ran in front of him blocking the path. <span style='color:red'>"If you really want to fight him, then I'm going with you."</span> Baal would have it no other way. If Averin said no then he'd just follow him anyway.
Alamu came back only to find Averin and Baal gone. "Oh, great." She growled, kicking herself again for being so stupid. "I go for a few minutes and he takes off with Averin." She turned and walked out, looking around. Alamu walked toward the village and saw Averin on his feet with Baal blocking the path. She frowned and stopped, thinking. Oh, no. He wants to go after Nailo, She realized. She walked forward slowly, tucking the canteen into her pocket. "Averin, you can't go yet. You aren't healed." Her voice was quiet but firm. She stared at Averin, determined to do at least this right.
Averin looked at Baal, and heard Alamu from behind. He opened his wings, and took off, towards the village. Averin landed in this damaged village. Averin found his bag, but it looks as if a daemon scavenger had looked through and salvaged some of his goods. The daemon was still here and it pounced to do a sneak attack on Averin, but Averin quickly turned around and stabbed it with his right arm. He removed his right arm out of the daemon and then he noticed something that the daemon had that belonged to him, he quickly removed it and it was what he was searching for.
<span style='color:RED'>"Why fly, why oh why does he fly?"</span> Baal ran after him as fast as he could, <span style='color:red'>he's bloody insane.</span> By the time he reached Averin, he was totally knackered. Leaning heavily on his rifle to catch his breath. <span style='color:red'>"Why did you fly off like that, are you trying to get yourself killed or are you punishing yourself for your brother becoming what he is?"</span>
Alamu shook her head. Can't even do this much right, she thought angrily, turning and walking the other way. I should stop trying. To her surprise, another voice sounded in her head. <span style='color:gray'>Yeah, you should.</span> She remembered the voice from when she was a child. Her other side had finally returned. Not you again. An evil laugh. Strangely enough, she had missed that voice. She walked into the cave and gathered her stuff, barely paying attention to the insults. "Wich way to go now?" She wondered, pausing at the entrance. Without a second thought, she racd into the trees.
