Day 10 Mia (Winter), 81380 Who: Ady R79 Where: Some little tavern Clothing: Black jeans and a white tank top Time of Day: Noon Ady quickly got dressed. He looked at himself in the mirror, and grinned. He said to himself, not bad lookin today at all. He grabbed his keys, walked to the front door and took a look around and walked out the door. He shut the door behind him, and quickly locked it. He walked slowly down the street, looking at everyone he passed. Sending out little winks here and there to the prettier thills. He started walking up the sidewalk to his favorite tavern. A small blue building, with a black dragon and a white dragon on either side of the door. He walked up to the door, and pushed it open. He stepped inside, and instantly detected the overwhelming smell of fresh baked pretzels. He grinned, and walked up to the bar, sat down and ordered a pitcher of beer and two pretzels. He paid for his order, and glanced around. Much to his suprise the place wasn't busy like it typically was. He sighed no one to show off to at the moment. He decided to concentrate on drinking his beer and eating his pretzels. Maybe, someone else would pop in, if not. Well, he really didn't care today anyhow.
What looked like a large 'dragon walked through the door of the tavern. He wiped the slightest bit of mud off of his boots, and let down his matted hair as he walked in. His hair reached just above his shoulders when he let it down. Giving some shadow to his face. Sitting about three chairs down the bar from the Aquabat. Of which he knew not the name. He ordered a shot of bourbon, <span style='color:tan'> "My bones are cold today." </span> He stated carefully. Having the bartend give him a strange look. He finnally looked down the bar at the interesting 'dragon. <span style='color:tan'> "Your a 'bat aren't you?" </span> He said extending his hand slightly, <span style='color:tan'> "The name's Rupret. You wouldn't happen to have a name as well would you?" </span> He asked with a slight smile on his face.
Ady looked up in suprise, and finished chewing the piece of pretzel, that was in his mouth. He looked at the older dragon somewhat curiously, he looked different than all the other dragons he had seen. He thought for a moment, took a drink of his beer, and said,"<span style='color:blue'>Yah i'm a 'bat. The name is Ady R79. May I ask what exactly are you? I haven't seen a dragon quite like yourself before.</span>"
Rupret pulled his hand back and laced the tip of his glass with his finger. He gave off another slight smile,<span style='color:tan'> "I don't see why you couldn't ask me. I'm Anubi." </span> He took the shot, made a slight face, and sat the glass back on the counter quickly. He spent around in his chair, to turn around and look at the room. He loved the simplicity, and he looked at some of the other 'dragons around. Then he looked back to Ady, <span style='color:tan'> "R, I don't think I've seen them before. Do you visit them often?" </span> Rupret asked politely.
Ady glanced around, then responded,"Naw, usually when I get here they are already to far gone to try and talk to. Not that I would talk to them, I would rather talk to some pretty thill. No offense, your not drunk right know so I don't mind." He hadn't gotten his dose of sun, so he wasn't in his typical show off mode.
<span style='color:tan'> "Well, I suppose I'm cramping your 'style'. No thill, as you say, would approach either of us with me like this. So, I'll just leave you be." </span> He smiled a bit, and ordered another shot. He figeted with somthing in his cloak. He now pulled it out, and dropped it in the shot. The shot bubbled, but didn't overflow. He took the shot, this time not making a face, and just looked down at the counter.
Ady finished his beer but, watched Rupert with curiosity. "Naw, it's alright. For once in my life I could care less. What did you just drop in your shot?"
Rupret sighed, but smiled 'cause he acctually had someone to talk to, but his tone changed sharply, <span style='color:tan'> "People always ask me that. And I always tell them, though I probally shouldn't." </span> Rupret looked around, making sure no one was listening in, for this, this was his biggest secret. <span style='color:tan'> "Its a magical mystical thing, I like to call, Alkaseltzer." </span>
Ady looked at him. He wondered what was so mystical about it. "So, what does this Alkaseltzer stuff do?" He grabbed his glass went to take a drink and realized that he had just finished it. He glanced over at Rupert, thought for a moment then smiled. He nodded to the bartender and another shot was put in front of Rupert and a beer for himself. "Hope you don't mind. Figured you are the first person to be willing to actually talk to me, so I could buy a round." He picked up his glass and took a drink.
Rupret nodded and tipped his shot a little to Ady. He took it and as he was sitting it back down he started to laugh a little and said, <span style='color:tan'> "It's not all that mystical. It just gets rid of heartburn." </span> Rupret waved to the bartender, cutting himself off from shots for the day. <span style='color:tan'> It'll take more than four shots to get me drunk.... But it's only noon. </span> He thought to himself, still with a slight smile on his face.
Ady laughed. "Oh I see. So, uhh." He sat there staring down at his half drank beer and realized that he could think of nothing to say, at this point of time.
<span style='color:tan'> "Right right. Nothing to talk about. Hmm." </span> He shifted in his seat. Trying to think up somthing to say. He kept drawing up blanks though. For once in a long while he also had nothing to say.
Ady looked over at Rupert and grinned. "Ok I have no idea why the fact that we are both speechless is amusing but, I am finding it amusing."
Rupret chuckled a bit at this fact too, <span style='color:tan'> "I am as well.... Maybe its the intoxication getting to us." </span> Rupret nodded still smiling.
Ady finished off his beer, sat back and grinned. "That very well could be it." He sat there and watched the room begin to spin.
