Place: The Temple of Nephthys, deep in the desert. Weather: Cool with clear skies. </td></tr></table> Nephthys knealt in front of the statue of her Goddess, of who she was Guardian of upon Ramath. Her eyes were closed and the air smelt of soft incense that burnt around the altar along with a few small oil basins that were lit and shining a glow on the dim worship room. She was whispering words in Anubi of a soft prayer, asking for safe passages for the newly deceased and for those who were just entering the world. Every day since the Goddess had come to her in her dreams, telling her that she was the Chosen One, she'd grown more and more like her Goddess- the worshippers had commented that she seemed to have an unworldly appearance now. Her jewellery twinkled in the light, casting reflections on the cold sandstone walls that depicted the legends of the Goddess in perfectly painted pictures and with Anubi language and Egyptian side by side. Nephthys placed an offering on the altar: fruit, red wine and bread. Sure enough, in flew a trisk coloured in black and gold and it landed on the altar and fed. Nephthys smiled, the Goddess was pleased. The trisk itself finished what was in the golden goblet and on the golden platter before flying out again into the starry night. Nephthys began speaking softly again, her rusty hair falling down from her shoulders as her head bowed in respect as she spoke to the Goddess about the day.
Character: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=742Seth Khuyt</a> (is currently getting his name changed so ignore a difference.) Clothes: His armour (picture in his profile) yet helmet folded up. Jed walked silently and softly over the warm sands, the failing light was a joy to him, not only did he like the stars slowly appearing over the dark sky; like a black and purple cloth being pulled back to slowly reviled the shiny points in the sky. But he also liked the dark, his was the chosen of Seth and shared a portion of his powers, which meant having a certain connection to darkness. He served as his right hand in all matters and this was no different. Seth had called it regaining lost ground but by the look on his masters face he had gathered it was more. He had been given a location and was rapidly advancing on it. He looked up as the stars slowly, it was a nice sight, he lowered his gaze again over the desert and nearly jumped when he saw another guardian temple. His hand reflectively flicked out one of his pistols and readied it. The guardians where know for being horrible to each other except for special circumstances. He lowed his gun again and holstered it, he had faith in his masters choice. He walked a little more cautiously expecting guards or anything, so far he could see nothing though. He thumped the pressure sensitive pad on his chest armour and his helmet layered its self over his face. The enhanced vision of the eyes helped him to see clearly into the nights sky, he could still see no guards, either they were hiding or this was one of the more peaceful guardians. He let out a sigh of relief as he walked nearer and nearer to the new temple.
Nephthys and her Goddess were deep in conversation before she got a vision of an armed Anubi approching the Temple. Nephthys looked towards the archway, leading out past the inside columns of the great Temple in the main hallway and towards where the sky glittered. Her expression was that of worry and distress. She was a calm Guardian, not like many others who often fought if their paths ever crossed. Her breathing became irregular when suddenly a feeling of calm washed over her, her Goddess telling her not to worry. Nephthys trusted her Goddess totally and believed that if she wasn't to worry, then she shouldn't. She thanked her Goddess, and continued to talk to her about her day. As the unknown Anubi got closer to the Temple, she felt his feelings. He was in armour because he didn't know what to expect. She felt completely comfortable with the approching one now, although she didn't believe he was a worshipper of Her. Nephthys's blue eyes swirled with the dancing figures of pendragons as she looked towards the archway once more. He was getting closer, she felt him. Nephthys's was told to go and prepare for the arrival of the stranger by Her and so, after thanking her Goddess once again, she rose on her feet. The dangling jewellery jingled as she rose gracefully and bowed her head to the statue. Her feet were unshoed and she walked softly without making any noise (apart from her jewellry of course) to a small room across to the side of the statue. This was her private chambers and she moved behind a screen to change into a clean, fresh robe. Her body seemed to tingle all over, and she couldn't identify why. Must be something to do with Her. she thought to herself as she fastened the clean robe. She then moved around the screen to the small washbasin and washed her hands and face before reapplying her makeup of gold and blue tints and spraying a musky scent into the air so it fell down on her all over evenly. Now prepared, she went back into the main Worship Room and knealt back down by the statue, her back to the archway and the enterance to the Temple.
He did not know why but suddenly he began to walk a lot faster. He felt spurred but a deep desire to find someone in that temple, he had no clue why but it just felt natural. He walked faster and faster and then he felt the deep stirrings of Seth under his skin. He was Seth's high priest yet sometimes Seth took over his body. Seth his self had a body he had kept since he was banished, that was Seth in his true form yet Jed was his servant and tool. He could feel the dark stirring of his god under his skin and it felt so odd, like passion almost. In a strange way he wasnÂ’t really bothered if he got taken over again. Normally he hated it yet this time it just seemed normally. He walked up to the temple now fast approaching the entrance, he began to get an idea why Seth had made sure he was well groomed before he had left. He walked through the temple door to see a beautiful Anubi woman kneeling by a statue. He recognised it instantly and was filled of sudden flash backs of a time long ago. They were of Seth and someone else, a woman yet he could not make out her appearance, it was probably Nephthys, this was defiantly her temple. They were walking very close to one another, like lovers would. He grinned to himself at the vision then announced his presence as the mental image faded. "Greetings" he said in a slow and deep manner. She was wearing fine robes and her could smell her sweet perfume from here. He smiled broadly at it then softly pressed his chest which folded his helmet back up in a second. His red dreadlocks dropping down again as his tanned fur showed in the soft light of the temple.
She felt him come closer to her kneeling in the Temple, his feelings of desire for something (or someone) emitting from him in waves like those that crash upon the seashore against the hard rocks. She just stayed there, perfectly calm and still, kneeling on the floor before the statue. The candles cast a soft glow over her, her rusty-coloured hair twinkling in the light. As soon as the stranger stepped into the room, she too had a vision. Nephthys saw herself as the Goddess and her lover, Seth. They embraced and kissed before the vision faded. Could this be..? The silence in the Temple was suddenly interrupted by a soft, slow deep voice. Nephthys looked up from the floor where she'd been looking with a bowed head and she slowly and gracefully rose to her feet. Slowly, she turned round to see the fine, handsome Anubi before her with her sparkling and dancing blue eyes. She smiled softly. He had a some what familiar scent. Although she'd never seen him before. Or had she? She stepped forward towards him, closing the gap quite remarkably. Greetings She said in a soft voice that wasn't pitched too high nor too low. Just right. Her eyes never left his, the clouds within dancing with the figures of pendragons.
Seth was raging inside him, yet in a different way to normal. He was usually full of bloodlust and trying to kill things or he was angry or sad. Those were his normal emotions yet this one was different. Seth was looking at her through JedÂ’s eyes, he could feel his mind mixing with Seth's for a moment. She was the only thing that slated his lust for death and battle and darkness, mainly because he focused himself on her. He smiled at her, his own light blue eyes looking back at her. It was all very suddenly clear why Seth had sent him, yet it was also very odd. He wasnÂ’t Seth although she was Nephthys, well chosen. Not all the gods did what Seth did, Seth had chosen a permanently body for himself. It appeared that she was a normally Anubi like him yet she had been chosen by the goddess. He however was just a servant of Seth. He smiled sadly for a moment, his master had good taste. His mind slipped into a darkness and Seth entered his body. His eyes clouded over black and a deep purple iris. His fur went slightly darker and his tail flame grew very bright in its purple flame yet it had a slightly reddish passion tinge. A new voice emitted from his mouth. It was a slightly deeper version yet it sounded different as well, it had a certain more intimate tone. "IÂ’ve missed you" he said, his voice full of emotion as he took another step closer, now standing very close to her.
Nephthys watched him quietly. A thousand feelings and snippets of memories washed through her brain. She remembered thousands of meetings with Seth, but she was the Goddess. Her chest rose and fell as she breathed a little more heavily than her normal, making her breasts swell and sink again before his lustful eyes. It was then she realised. She is the Goddess. Well, the Goddess was becoming part of her. That's why she felt unafraid by this armoured stranger. Nephthys watched as there was a slight transformation in the Anubi standing before her. It was then her thoughts were confirmed. Seth was standing before her. They were almost within touching distance. Nephthys stepped forward again as he spoke, the voice now eerily familiar. She smiled at him and her hand moved to gently touch his cheek. Her warm hand tingled as it touched him, sending shivers throughout her body. I've missed you too She said softly with the same tone and yet so filled with emotion
Although Seth wasnÂ’t in his body, his high priest was good enough. He had missed her so much, when things had changed so long ago they hadnÂ’t spoke. War had sprung up between the guardians and it ruined everything but now he and she were there again, even though a new war was brewing this time it would be different. He wasnÂ’t one of the most powerful anymore, he had lost some of his former glory yet he was on the rise. This time he wanted it to be with her. They were a strange mix, she was devoted t life and he was to darkness. Yet in a odd way the both complemented each other and balanced out. She brought calm to him that he could never find without her. He brought his hand up and gently ran his hand down from her hair and over the side of her face, his firm hand against her soft skin. He wished he was with her in his own body but any comfort was good. He came right up to her now, his body up right next to her. He was slightly taller then her and while he looked down at her into her blue eyes, he slowly wrapped his other arm around her and gave her a warm hug. "Its been too long" He said with his voice in the same tone, full of memories and heart ache. He wished he was in robes as well though, he didnÂ’t like the fact his armour blocked off contact with her.
Over the long period of time since their parting, Nephthys recalled how she used to sob day and night, as if mourning for a lost soul. She wept in her Temple, uncomforted by worshippers and she'd often fly into a rage and send offerings flying against the coloured sandstone walls. The worshippers had got worried, prayed continuously for her and her lover to be reunited. And today, their prayers had been answered. Life with Darkness, two very contradicting elements and yet, she didn't mind one bit. He made her complete, he showed her that life itself was chaotic and didn't need him to play with the Pendragon chesspieces to make it so. He had showed her how to have fun within the Dark, and let out a slight mischievious side to her. Her blue eyes gazed up at him, filled with adoration for him, the cloud figures within them depicting two pendragons dancing together. Her body quivered slighty at his tender touch for she'd never been touched like this in her form. Well, not as Nephthys the Anubi. Her arms slid around his neck, avoiding the jutting bits of armour which are annoyingly in the way she thought, as his slid round her back. Far, far too long.. She said softly, her nose almost touching his as he looked down. Nephthys wasn't sure what to say, the Goddess's voice wasn't advising her anymore because she'd become the Goddess. And yet, her words couldn't surface to describe her feelings of adoration and love for the Anubi before her.
Seth didnÂ’t care about what body he was in now, he was paying to much attention to his love before him. He would have to marry her, her didnÂ’t want to be with out her again. He grinned at her and playfully nipped her nose, his arm around her left her for a moment and went to a certain hidden button on the armour that was needed a code to open. His fingers quickly pushed some keys and then then hsi armour very neatly folded back down into a small waist band around him. His bare chest was reviled now, while his soft yet dark tanned fur and chiselled muscle softly lay pressed against her. "Mmm we need to catch up on old times very soon." He said as he nuzzled against her. He didnÂ’t want to do anything to serious with her without his body but he still wanted somethingÂ’s. He was gazing into her eyes again, they were just as beautiful as he remembered, he slowly leaned in to her and let his lips meet hers. A spark of energy as they brushed together and began to mingle. He brought his hand back up to her face and held her very very light as he deepened the kiss ever so slowly. He softly tilted his head to the side as his mouth mingled with hers, the kiss was full of energy and passion yet was soft and sweet at the same time. He slowly let his other hand rest on her lower back holding her against him gently while they kisses together..
Nephthys believed she was the Goddess, as did most Guardians when they had been Chosen after a period of time. Although, Nephthys wasn't like most. She was still herself. She just believed the distorted images she got in her head that showed her as the Goddess. On Ramath-lehi though, Guardians were the physical body of a Higher Being. This often meant that the Worshippers subjected themselves to the Guardian as well as their Chosen Higher Being. As Seth nipped her nose, she giggled softly, the laughter echoing round the Temple. Then, when his armour slipped away, she felt her own body pressed against his and growled happily from deep within her throat. She knew exactly what she meant when he spoke again and smiled knowingly before nuzzling against him. She found her eyes attracted to him again and she gazed into his eyes, looking deep into his feelings. She felt the love that he had for her and how happy seeing her made him so when he bent down to kiss her, she kissed right back. She let him lead, but she felt the intense passion between them. Her hands gently caressed his neck and her fingers mingled with his hair, loving the soft and silky feel of him against her. Her slender body pressed wantingly against him, sending out subconscious signals how how much her body had missed his gentle, loving touch.
OOC please ignore any plot changes due to rules of magic on RaL. Sorry for any odd bits. IC Seth was pleased with his possession spell, it was difficult but he had great mastery over Necromancy and he basically pushed Jed's soul aside and forced his way in while his body was in deep meditation in his temple. Jed was his high priest so it was perfectly accepted that this was a duty of his, Seth was also pleased that Jed remembered nothing of what he had done afterwards, he would not share her with anyone. He growled lightly yet, murmured when their lips and bodies met, the spark of passion and deep love for each other was like a fire between them. He felt her body against his, their fur mingling, he had hated not being with her for all this time. He wanted her to know how much she meant to him, he wanted her to feel as special as she mad him feel. He very gently broke the kiss yet leapt himself just as close to her. "I have a present for you" he said slyly as his hand reach behind him and pulled out a small box from a hidden compartment. He brought it out and opened it in front of her. Inside was a diamond about the size of a childÂ’s fist, it was clear as day yet it had a yellow tinge that made it seem gold and sparkle in the light. " Its a desert Diamond, I sought one out especially for you, their very rare yet the gold of it suits your beautiful dark fur." He whispered closely to her, he lips occasionally grazing her ear lightly yet in a tender way as he explained his gift.
Nephthys enjoyed the firery passion that suddenly engulfed them both as they kissed, her body almost in a swoon. A soft breeze flew into the Temple, gently swirling around them both and around the Temple itself. The candles stayed lit, casting their warm glow in the room. The breeze made her robes billow out slightly where they weren't being held as if the cloth was part of a kite, not clothing. She moaned softly into the kiss, getting completely lost within the moment. When he pulled away, she almost cried out in dismay but curiosity on what was in the little box gripped her. She kept a tight and yet loving grip on him as he opened the box. Nephthys' jaw opened in amazment. A desert diamond? For her? She looked up at him in pure disbelief before looking back to the diamond. A voice echoed in her head- the Goddess. Take it. He wants to prove to you how much he cares about you the soft voice said pleasingly. Nephthys looked back to him and looked deep in his eyes, smiling widely. It's beautiful Thank you. I only wish I had something I could give you
Seth was smiling at her plenty, he was taking in her spectrum of emotions as he showed her the diamond. For one tiny moment he thought she was going to refuse it yet she seemed happy with it. Seth always felt strangely smug when he found something she liked, it was like a game to see if he could find a new gift to please her. Her gaze met his again and he ran his hands down her arms holding her close to him. "You donÂ’t need to give me anything" he said with mild amusement, a slight chuckle escaping his lips. "Except for you love" He said as he leaning into her slowly, his kiss sending waves of passion through his body. He stood with her on the brink of pure passion and love with the soft moon light shinning through the door of the temple in a pale stream of glow. It mixed beautifully with the golden, smooth light of the candles that danced around every time a gentle breeze flickered the flame making shadows spring up and around.
Nephthys shivered with anticipation as his hands gently and lovingly ran down her arms. Her eyes shut softly and she smiled warmly, enjoying his touch. As he spoke, her eyes opened wide again, glittering like gems themselves. She returned his kiss just as strongly, just as passionately and yet just as gently. Her hands managed to slide around his toned waist, still clutching the box, and draw him up against her again as the kiss deepened. They stood there, bathed in the night's and candle's light, for a few moments but to Nephthys, it felt like hours. She pulled reluctantly away, nuzzling his chest with her nose before she spoke softly. I have private chambers here you know. I love you so much. I've missed you... I've missed this.
Seth as enjoying the eternity of [passion that seemed to pass between them. It was like their inner fires were burning together and he could not imagine himself away from her, she felt like she was part of him and they were meant to be like this. His eyes widened when she mentioned her chambers, he somewhat knew what she wanted but he couldnÂ’t help but feel uncomfortable with the idea, especially when it wasnÂ’t in his body. He sighed wishing he had gone in person. "Would you like to go their then" he said while he kisses the top of her head ever so softly, his lips just touching her for the tiniest of seconds. He ran one hand through her hair, softly letting his fingers comb through it gently, enjoying the sleek and smoothness of it. He was smiling peacefully at how much his heart ached for her, it was like a gawping wound that only she could fill. He missed her so much.
Nephthys smiled and looked at his widening eyes. Okay, so it was somewhat more forward than her usual banter with Seth but still. Her empathy skills picked up that he wasn't fully comfortable with the idea. She guessed that might be to do with him not in his own body. She remembered the last time before the Great War of the Guardians when Seth had come to her Temple himself. That was so long ago. I would.. But.. are you happy to? She said softly, still smiling after he'd kissed her forehead with a almost breeze-like touch on where her ankh tattoo was placed. It had sent another small shiver through her body. His fingers playing with her hair made her murmur softly. She loved him playing with her hair
While his fingers moved playfully, toying gently with her hair eh considered her words, she always understood him. He smiled down at her while she nuzzled his chest, his gaze fell onto the Ankh on her head which filled him with wonder, he needed a new tattoo. Seth sighed again slightly sad yet mostly happy and content. "Yes I'm happy to, but just to be with you, I want us being fully together to be a special occasion, not me in some foolish body" he said with a little bit of angry at his own foolishness, yet with the feel of her against him it melted away like water in the mid day sun. He let his other hand slide gently to her waist giving her a soft squeeze. He just wanted to lay with her, to comfort her and hold her in his arms. He wanted to fall asleep with her resting on him and to awake in the morning with his head by hers. Seth sighed again, she gave his life so much meaning.
