Tessera 81377, 23rd ^^_^^0^^_^joy^-^^.^^_^^happyness^^_^^fun^^ IC: A soft windless breeze blew through the stuffy ship. Everyone on board seemed to sigh with pleasure as the cool wind washed over there backs. Everyone in the Lunar Cruiser was happy to be sailing home at last finally after four months out there on the tides, four months in the dinky little submarine. The whole sub was falling apart and it would need repairs A.S.A.P., at least thatÂ’s what the captainÂ’ said. So now the eight crew ships with the twelve crew members were going home, to Sumundra, where all the great sea explores were made, the most intelligent and advanced technology anywhere, and the beautiful place that could rival the golden city, The City of Aurius. Captain Banen was rather huffy the last few days, with his finance wanting to be abroad with him; (though she was the only female on board so you couldnÂ’t really blame him) Â he had a lot of worry and stress. With their sudden failure in the mission had it really been his fault? Because they had to turn around so that they wouldnÂ’t be killed? He looked over at Shavlina feeling resentment and guilty all at once, it was a very curious feeling. What had made him fall in love with her? Truly she was beautiful and she had such a magnificent aura, but other then that what was left to be desired? Why had she come in the first place? She was one of the best, the best of the best. But all she ever seemed to do was cause him worries and stress him out. She insisted on doing everything her self! Watching her now he knew why, she was strong, stronger then he could ever be and ruthless to a fault. Perhaps she should have been Captain of this particular mission, she could have made the decision to stay, the decision to live or die. .::.--^.^--.::.--^.^--.::.--^.^--.::.--^.^--.::. Shavlina had control of the powerful ship as they neared the city; her thoughts were on the crew. She felt for them, she really did. She knew of what they suffered day in and day out, the home sickness, stuffyness, they pressure and extream heat in the control room that felt to everyone in there like a sauna. But there must have been another way! She knew they all admired and feared her, the feeling of power was something she could not deny, even Banen feared her. She had to get another crew next time, one that would be loyal to her, only her. Â Banen wouldnÂ’t stop her, he just knew he couldnÂ’t. Though she wasnÂ’t a trained Captain she had made this ship all bye her self and so she was entitled to it. Turing to first mate she shouted in his ear, the sound of the Lunar Cruiser was painful, deafening, but she had gotten used to it. She told Gary to take over the wheels while she took a well earned nap in the cabin area where she and Banen slept together. He just smiled at her and went on to his duties, he was efficient, she had to admit that she would miss him. Walking down the small hallway for some time she reached the doors to the cabin, steam and exhaust was coming in from the pipes that made up the walls outside. wiping sweat from her brow she went through the door, noting to herself that she had to make it more homely. pondering onward, she thought of what was to come when they reached the underwater cities docking gates. She would have to go to the administrator to find something to do, tell him to give more money this time to the project so that they could find the lost treasure. Yet something in her heart told her that it wouldnÂ’t be so easy. As she Walked slowly into the finely furnished and cooler cabin she plopped down on the large bed and sighed. All the other cabins werenÂ’t as nice as this one was, since this was the captains. She and Banen would be married next June, but she wasnÂ’t sure if she wanted to commit just yet though. She had made a promise and she was going to keep it. She sat up on the quilted bed and began to read, sometime tomorrow they would reach the city and then she just had to find another crew. Poor Banen, though he did not know of her plans she was sure he would disapprove enless he was there with her. But she knew he couldnÂ’t stick to it, he wanted to be back home and not on the small stuffy ship. Shavlina smiled, wondering what everyoneÂ’s reaction would be when they found her gone with only a note.
OOC: if u dont like it ignore it, its the first time ive used him so i need to get used to him ^.^ Ziger was on the small sub sitting quietly with the storage. His eyes drooped then he popped them open again. Being a stowaway is hard enough with this sleep coming along. These thoughts rushed through Zigger's head. yes he had been a stowaway for 4 months. And for what? he thought that darn captain made us turn back! Ziger, even though always in the storage room no where else, had heard enough conversations to know what was going on on the ship. The captain was in love with some girl What was her name? Shovina? well that sounds like a shovel to me! Ziger had he annoying obnocsious ways. He had come on this ship merely for the loot and ever since he had heard about the girl, her too. He had never seen the girl. Only men came down to storage room to collect supplies. His thoughts were disturbed when a member of the crew entered and yelled All men to their cabins! THen he walked off down a corridor which Ziger new was the cabins in which the crew slept. THis was Ziger's sign. He stood up and moaned as his legs cracked loudly. He headed for the kitchen, knowing his way for he went there every night and had a great feast. though this tiem he went in and grabbed a small ssnack and then left. THen he headed down the corridor opening each door as he went as silently as he could. finally he came to shavlina's cabin. He opened the door, careful to not wake her. THe captain must be on watch for he was not in the room. Ziger slowly entered and headed for her. She was beautiful, these were the only thoughts that rushed through his head. He gently touched her face then slowly walked around to the other side of the bead and lie down. He did not intend to but he fell into a deep sleep, lieing next to a beauty.
Occ: I like It! I think your doing fine. –nods- (I write a lot, sorry) ^^ *--^.^--*--^.^--* IC: Shavlina smiled, she lie curled up next to Banens warm body. It was nice, maybe even, the last time... There it was, the great city, flooded with one dream and hope. The buildings were high skyscrapers; they seemed to glow with an unearthly light. The giant bubble like structure encased the city, it reflected only on the inside so that passing ships wouldn't crash into it. Shavlina shivered, the sight of it gave her goose bumps. She turned to Banen; he was just looking at her solemnly, and then nothing. She felt her body react to his pain but she ignored him, pushing past his large frame to retrieve her things. They were boarding the docks now, thank god, thank god, thank.... Suddenly her dream ended with an abruptness that made her heart leap. A light flooded her closed eyes and she blinked them open. Squinting against the bright rays she moaned suddenly, one arm shielding everything from view, flung over her eyes. She laid back, the creaks and great moans of the ship half comforting her as she lay there for a few seconds. Then with a small grunt she rolled off the large bed, her eyes still unadjusted to the light. Shavlina walked over to the light switch, stumbling and finally hitting it off on the opposite side of the room. She sighed, darkness surrounded her except for the light that entered a peephole, (window) near both sides of her bed. A large whale like mammal floated bye, it disappeared into the dark abyss with its song still ringing in her ears. It was so beautiful out there... Her mind trailed off and she looked around the familiar room. Some thing was out of place, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. Wait! Her heart thudded in her head and then slowed to an even tempo. Shavlina focused drowsily on a dark figure that lay on her bed. She knew instantly that it must be her fiancé asleep in her bed. But why was Banen here? What did he want? Deciding that it must be to get a little loving for the last day she sighed. She actually thought he would have asked after they had gotten out of the ship. But if he was in here it could only mean one thing. Shavlina slowly walked around the bed to his sleeping form, careful not to trip over his loafers. She touched his leg in the darkness; he didn’t stir but managed to puzzle her. Why the hell was he wearing shoes to bed? She shook her lovely head in the darkness, hair spilling out around her face. Sighing, though with slight humor she lifted the covers that were around his head and closed her eyes. She leaned down to kiss him awake. As her lips met his she realized something was not right. Opening her great greening eyes she felt stunned in place. Wow, he looked so much better in the dark! But, he smelled different, not like grease, but a strong scent of detergent and bananas. She nudged him, running her hands over his shirt, wow he had gotten buff since yesterday, “hey wake up silly, and come and get me." It’s what she always said, bedroom games. Her mind just couldn’t register it. But this time the shadowed figure didn’t respond like they always did. In fact, by that strange fear running up her spine and the prickling on her skin, she decided that it wasn’t time to play…
OOC: Sorry i like ur dream idea! do u mind? Ziger's dream waddled across his mind. He was marreing the girl, then the scene changed, he was with side by side looking down at a child, then the scene changed for the last time, he was sitting on a chair the girl was serving him wine and he had money piled around him... He felt himself being nugged sligtly, he heard a voice but his brain wouldn't focus on what was being said. He eyes blasted open, there was the girl leaning over him, she looked more beautiful then he had emagened in his dreams, for in the dark the night before her look was hard to define. His mouth opened and a gasp formed on the tip of his tongue, though he pushed it down. Well, lovely lady how may I be of service to you? As he spoe he smirked slightly and sat up careful not to make her move. He liked her being close, close enough to give a ppeck on th cheek, close... that's what he liked. I am Ziger, Ziger Trant. And the lovely lady in front of me is? He pulled her hand up to give it a slight peck.
"Occ: no, *flicks hand nonchalantly* go ahead, dreams are a pretty vague, vast area, there is no limit to the possibilities..... =] it sounds interesting! ^^ -*=.-*=.-*=.-*=.-*-.=*=.-*=-.*=.-*=.-=*.-=*-.*-= Shavlina's lids fluttered as the stranger awoke. Her heart beat quickened in her rjauts, it fluttered like a butterfly trapped within her chest, wings fragile and beating furiously against the dread and fear that swirled in her stomach. She jumped when he spoke so clearly, "Well, lovely lady how may I be of service to you?" her fear swallowed her sensibilities and she could only stand and stare at him with shock as he leaned into her face and gently kissed her hand asking her name. His voice floated above her ears, his own mocking smile told her it was just a game, all a game. "Who the hell-What are you doing in my bed?" she spoke softly, but her voice was rough with outrage. She almost choked on her words; they felt like lead in the back of her tongue, "You’re a stowaway!" she asked the question. "do you know what I do to stowaways on my ship, do you know what my fiancé will do?" was what she was going to say, but decided against that, threats, people don't react to threats well. Instead she said, “my name is Shavlina; I am the second in command on the Lunar Cruiser. You can report yourself to the captain, immediately." Her mind was racing, he looked harmless, but he could be anything, a thief, murderer, and rapist... her heart almost stopped. She looked at him trhough the silence, she couldn't see his face in the darkness, her heart thudding louder and louder, like thunder rolling in her head. If he was a rapist or a murderer or a thief he would have already done whatever it was he did, and she might be dead, she at least had to admit that he hadn't even touched her yet, at least not in an innappropriate way. Shavlina glanced over at the gun near the bed side table, debating whether or not to pull a gun on him, was that wise? She gulped inwardly, and slowly reached for the table, hoping he wouldn't notice in time. Better safe, then sorry.
Ziger smirked, Shavlina, nice, pretty name, it explains her. He stood up and walked around her, he grabbed her hand as it reached for te gun. Uh, Uh, Uh! Now I am known for my keen eye so try anything stupid! So I have heard many pleasant and unpleasent things about you He pulled her over away from the gun and then let her go. How did you guess that I happen to be a stowaway, yes I am, but I am only a lier, no thief to such a pretty lady as yourself, so do not put thoughts into that. Ziger spoke quick showing that he planed his words before talking. You're a fiesty fella'. Did you really expect to get rid of me that fast? Well I think I will be here for a while.
"For a stowaway youÂ’re completely arrogant." she said it calmly, feeling somehow useless as he took her gun, and she didn't even struggle for it. Shavinla tensed beside the male as he got closer to her, feeling his breath fan her hair and then move away slowly. She gulped as he moved, feeling somehow trapped even as he let her go. Perhaps that had not been the smartest thing to say, not to a complete stranger, though she had the right. "if you are what you say you are, and then I will have to choice but to turn you into the authorities." she thought softly before looking up into his dark shadowed face, her heart humming in her ears. She played with the desk top, running her figures idly over the wood, half laying on it. She wanted to look fine, relaxed to him, and he would be none the wiser. "Why did you even come here? On this ship? How can I trust you are who you say you are?" Shavlina looked down at him shrewdly, smiling beguilingly, playing along until she could find the right moment to take advantage of the situation. Her paw felt the emergency button underneath the table top as they ran gently over it, ready to push down on the oval, just in case he came at her. She was Confidant that she wouldnÂ’t need to, she could handle the petty thief or liar, or whatever he was. Nothing would get too out of handÂ… "What do you want?" she spoke, not without realizing her mistake. Her mind echoed that question that had a different ending, 'why did you come to stowaway on my ship?' Why did she want to know; perhaps that was the better question out of the two, and she could only ponder it while having no clue to the correct answer. Only she could solve that mystery. She sighed, running a paw through bed messed hair that hung around her shoulders in silky waves. Curiosity killed the Trinthil.
Ziger watched her hand run slowly over the desk, he didn't notice the emergecy button but noticed that she was ready to attack and he new he was no match for her, he would have to act as though he was. Well I come here to gain riches, find out what this mission you were on really means and now that I think about it maybe have some fun. His eyes danced slowly watching to see Shavlina's mood change, see if it would. Now I wonder, why would you marry a snob like baron whats his name? I think I have seen much better fellows. His eyes twinkled and he winked quickly. His smile showed his teeth. His eyes showed planning and scemeing and his body showed weakness. For a moment he was silent then he said Now that we have met properly where the heck are we? And where will you be when we get there? Trick questions, his favorite types, sent a 'dragon into thought while he planned ahead. Nice one Ziger thought.
Shavlina took in what he said, but not knowing if it was the truth or not, but from what she knew after five minutes, he was clever, or at least shrewd. She glanced up at his face, sensing an almost difference in his aura. Strange. But just a flicker of suspicion and then it was banished from her mind. Shavlina slowly sidestepped him, feeling like the whipping boy, sort of like she should have been wearing High Black leather boots that came up to her thighs, clad all in red hot suede and cracking a whip while laughing evilly. Like she could whip him if he didn't answer any of her questions. But he was the one asking? *crack* boots clicking on the wooden floor boards... Naughty thoughts...She shook her head, walking around him away from the desk and towards the bed, but only a little, humming a song she knew, its not hard to guess what song. "My relationship with Banen is none of your concern." She answered curtly, yet had the desire to confide in him. The liar. Tell him her insecurities, her worries. But she had to agree, there were so much better males out there, did she truly love Banen? Well, she had known for three years, been his friend, lover...but did she even care? Perhaps it was not the time for such questions. She gave him a veiled look and quickly spoke again, this time with her hands behind her back, professional, solider like, like a true captain. "We are currently reaching the City of Aurius, Sumundra. We will be docking in a few short hours, then I will rehire another crew within the next few days" she sighed, her voice suddenly going slack, deflated, "until I can find another crew, which will be difficult in the circumstances, if the council will grant me the finances and legality of such another expedition. I have failed miserably." There was anger in her voice, a low rumbling anger; she felt her hand spasm and jerk. She then felt ashamed that she had lost control so easily of her temper and she looked up into his face, not caring if he saw the pain. "If this dose not work, then I will marry Banen as it was meant to be, as if it was meant to be." She switched on the lights and walked back over to stand straight in front of him, a soldier’s stance. "Do you believe in fate? What do you think I should do then, about my fiancé?" She sighed and sat down. She was having an important conversation with a criminal, and she just realized it.
Ziger looked at her with a suprised look. Why in the world was she confiding in him? He decided to ask but only at the right time. Lady, may I come to your crew. I have always loved sea, me and my brother would.....well it doesn't matter now. His face showed a sadness but he washed away with an evil smirk, he was back and proud of it. Lady, your fiance is to me a rat, rat beyond all rats. He speaks of nervousness of marrieing such a beauty. Shouldn't a man know if he will marry or not and be ready? For a moment he paused then he added Why do you confide in such a person as me?
"for a moment there I thought I had a breakthrough." she said thoughtfully. Maybe there was some good morals in him...too late, he spoke again and it ruined the tiny feeling of warmth. "I don't really know what Banen wants from me, I don't even doubt for one moment that he doesn’t love me so it can't be that." she sighed and played with the tiny strands of wild wisps of hair that were messed at her crown. She glanced at him quickly, what was she doing? Clearing her throat she got up and started to inspect him, the light leaving nothing to hide. He was thin, slightly muscular, and lean from what she could see. He had a...handsome mug, but not that that mattered. Finally after walking all the way around him she put twin delicate hands on her small waist and cleared her throat again. "What could you do for my ship? Shavlina's gaze never faltered from his eyes, never flickered to show that she was still afraid, still nervous. Well she was interviewing a complete stranger in her own Cabin, in her own bedroom... "What qualities do you have, and where do your loyalties lie? These are good questions, no?" Her voice was completely without emotion, her eyes cold and indifferent compared to the previous warmth. "I want a crew that has complete loyalties in every aspect that follows orders. You do know that if you are apart of my crew you will receive a cabin, fresh clothes, and you will work night shifts, morning, day, practically all the time, I don’t tolerate rest. It is no playground Mr...Ziger. You will work hard on my ship, and then if you do this maybe you will be rewarded, and I won't turn you into the authorities." she circled him as if she circled prey, sizing him up again, from head to foot. “Banen, if he knew would, would be furious, and so I must ask you to lie for me. I don’t know how, or when, but I will not stop even if the Council declares me rogue and mad, I will leave this city with a crew and a ship to find, the lost golden city." her eyes flashed and her voice went up an octave. She turned to Ziger again, "I will not have fool-hardy on my ship, answer now Mr. Ziger, can you handle it?"
OOC: sorry it took so long! i was on a trip! Ziger smiled as Shavlina spoke, he was carefull not to say anything that would break the small bond of trust that she seemed to be gaining in him. Now lady, I say that have you ever been into trouble that you can't get out of? where you are stuck in the middle? Or maybe your ship isn't allowedto set sail onto the crystal oceans? I can get you through those problems, your personal problems or feelings, and plus I can work on a ship well enough that should suit you. His smile turned into a smirk. He would probably not be great a ship work but the other options were good, especially the personal stuff. Maybe he could convince her to tell him her secrets, he could...never mind, he could feel her thoughts rushing into his head and he didn't want her to find a flaw in his plan or it would back fire. So as you can see my lovely lady I think I am ready to take hold or should I say become you crew, correst? Placing loving words infront of her name would make her trust him and like that he compliments her, this to Ziger would work perfectly.
Shavlina felt uneasiness creep down her spine but she shrugged it off, perhaps his compliments were just out of the goodness of his heart. Riiiggghhht. But they were still nice to hear, even from a liar. She felt her hand loosen on her shoulder that she hadn't realized she had been gripping. The pain had been sharp, immediate, and she hadn't even noticed. Strange what pressure and stress can do to you? She was still wary, perhaps more then just wary, but half afraid. But she still nodded, the barest of positive shakes to her head, "Alright, we will be docking in a few short hours and then it will take a few days to get the administration to get us permission to leave." she smiled half heartedly, but then decided against it all together. "then you will report back here, if you do not show up then that is only what I expected. I will be staying at the jytam vealp hotel near the busiest part of the city, but I want this agreement on contract before we shove off, everyone will be bound to a contract. She truly smiled at this, knowing somewhere in her gut this wouldn't appeal to such a flightily male.
Ziger smirked, YES he was in ready to fight for the rich and none for the poor! Now that he was in position he had more power over Shavlina, he would work his way to her, through her and....well he decided not to think his thoughts for though he new she wasn't reading his mind he still felt her thoughts inside him so he kept his mind locked from hers. I have no where to go, this place in which you shall go.. will you be but so kind to let an old stowaway stay with you? (sorry messed up on the BOLD stuff ) He put on a puppy dog face looking as though he really needed some where to stay, which he did but still it was good to think you were lieing.
