Timestamp: Tria, 8138 Jynx sat just outside the Watering Hole, watching the sun slowly crawl across the sky as 'dragons scurried passed, going about there own business. Her eyes flickered down to her watch and back up to scan the street again, disappointment shining in her eyes as she realized it was already noon. Her brother was supposed to meet her here for breakfast after he finished his latest job. When he hadn't shown up, she'd figured he'd gone to clean up before he came out. Now she wondered if he'd forgotten all about their appointment. She hadn't seen him in a while, and she missed him. Pulling a cell phone out of her pocket, she scrolled down through her contacts, pausing when she came to a name. She hadn't seen him in a while, either. Hitting a button, she brought it to her ear, listening to it ring. "Hey, Pendzez, it's Jynx. I was wondering if you wanted to meet up somewhere for lunch."
Pendzez had been in Watani to deliver some packages to a local market vendor. He had ordered somethings in and wanted the Olsenu crew to do it. Pendzez hadn't been on Treasure Hunts lately, since there hasn't been any power signals or energy waves. He thought the treasures of Ramath-lehi that were hidden have all been found, or they are just dormant for a while. He hopes to that something will come up. Right now, Pendzez was not a Treasure Hunter. He was a delivery boy. Pendzez came through the back door of the Watering Hole, since they needed some spices delivered that were harvested in Ajita. He was promised that when he delivered the package, he could have the rest of the day off, unless there will be another delivery that must be done. He will be contacted if so. He exited the kitchen and headed for the front door. He finished his job, he informed his boss, now he can have the day off. He was just at the door of the Watering Hole until his cell rang. He looked at the caller ID and found it was the dame of his life, Jynx. He hadn't seen her for a while, so maybe they could catch up on some things that they missed out on. He answered the phone. It was good to hear her voice again. How he missed her. She was inviting him to lunch, though she sounded like she was waiting for someone who didn't come. Pendzez would be happy to. He just walked out door, saying, "Jynx. Sure I'll be glad to. The Watering Hole sound ok because that's the only place that seems closest, since I'm at the front door."
Jynx blinked, surprised, when suddenly Pendzez's voice was doubled, coming from both the phone at her ear and somewhere behind her. Turning, she grinned at the sight of the love of her life standing just behind her. "What a coincidence." She said into the phone, rising and clicking it shut as she grinned at him. "So am I." She moved to give him a hug, laughing. "It's good to see you. I missed you." Jynx admitted, tilting her head back to study his face. Her eyes narrowed playfully on him and she crossed her arms over her chest. "You got taller, didn't you?" She accused, grinning slightly. She was doomed to be short forever, it seemed.
OOC: lateness AHHH! I must hate myself :( Pendzez was pleased to that Jynx was here as well. It would save time than to meet up some minutes later after the phone call. He was also pleased to see her again. It had been a while since he last saw her. They really need to see each other more. A long distance relationship is getting boring and also disturbing when you can only talk to them, but not in person. Pendzez hugged her in return of hers. His gloved hands ran up along the back of her shoulder blade, stopping when his fingers just touching the back of her neck. Oh he missed her touch, he missed the softness of her dark pelt, but more importantly, he missed her. "I missed you too." Jynx then mention that Pendzez might have gotten taller. Well, knowing him, it's possible. "Maybe an inch. Inch and a half."
ooc: No problem! Just makes the thread more fun. ;D Jynx sighed and nuzzled deeper into his embrace, enjoying his touch as much as he seemed to enjoy hers. She couldn't believe she'd missed so much of this, what with having a long-distance relationship and everything. She was tired of being so far away from him. "At least we're both here now." She thought, smiling as he spoke. Giving him her brightest smile, she slipped her hand into his, moving to tug him back into the Watering Hole. "Have you ever been here before? I haven't."
God how he needed her. Her softness was intoxicating to him, an addiction after he felt her touch and her lips so long ago it seemed. She was the one for him, no one else. He was hoping that one day, hopefully soon, that they will be able to see each other every day, every morning, every night. Hee wants to savour this moment with her. Feeling her hand slip into his, he was pulled back into the restaurant. He was asked if he's been here before. "A few times. Mainly to deliver some stuff to the kitchens." Besides, he had delivered some packages to them, they gave him a gift. The next time he came in, guest or not, the meal is free of charge. Luckily, he's having lunch with Jynx, meaning a free meal.
