<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Tessera 7,81379</td></tr></table> <span style='color:darkpurple'>Time away from the army was hard to get and generally well scheduled when gotten so as not to waste any time. Tuju was different, she just relaxed the whole time. This time, she had found an empty beach to enjoy. She sat against a tree and enjoyed the shade. Her hair danced slightly in the gentle breeze. She didn't know how long she had been siting there, but she eventually returned to reality to notice the tide was hitting her toes. She slowly rose and walked back to her car, she hopped in and after looking around to make sure no one was watching she quickly changed into her one-piece swimsuit.</span> <span style='color:purple'>"I hope the water isn't terrible cold, I could use a good swim."</span> <span style='color:darkpurple'>She walked into the water without flinching and, after being satisfied by the temperature of the water, began to swim small laps in the water. She counted her laps as she went, not even noticing the fish that swam past her, or the various sea plants the brushed against her. Her thoughts were elsewhere, on someone she missed and longed for. The man she trusted her own life with. The man who had saved her life many times, and whom she had save before as well. She returned to the beach after 50 laps and looked out onto the horizon. The blue horizon was as eerie to her as it was beautiful. Tuju's wings were rather small and hindered her more than they helped. She fluttered them rapidly to dry them as she headed for her car.</span> <span style='color:purple'>'Pumeal...be safe...wherever you are.'</span> <span style='color:darkpurple'>A small tear formed on the edge of her eye. She wiped it away, and grabbed her towel to dry off. She was openly crying by this point and after a few attempts found her wallet from her pants. She cluntched the picture, of her and Pumeal, she carried around with her. Her mind drifted to the time she had spent with him, the time she had grown to love him, and the time they devoted their lives for each other during their wedding. Reality returned to her in a hurry as she noticed some clouds blocking the sun.</span> <span style='color:purple'>"That's weird. I could've sworn it was supposed to be sunny today."</span> <span style='color:darkpurple'>She dried off but instead of changing she walked back onto the beach, as if in a trance as she watched to clouds. She watched them for a few minutes then hopped back into her car and began checking the surrondings for other people before changing into her street clothes.</span>
A figure seemed to appear out of no where beside Tuju's car. His eyes looked far off as he looked up to the clouds. His aquatic ears twitched at his eyes came back into focus and looked at her through the window, after she was finished getting dressed. He knocked on the window, still looking up at the sky, <span style='color:teal'>You should get you car out from the open. A really bad storm will be on us in moments...</span> He said with a nod to the sky. Most people never believed him when he predicted these things but it was their problem not his. Shifting his eyes to the water he noticed a ripple form close to the shore. Turning his head slightly to each side, seeing if anyone else was outside, he was glad people had seen the clouds and had gone in. The clouds weren't dreadfully dark, but that could change in a moment. <span style='color:teal'>Oh... And a sujestion... Tinted windows...</span> Silence loomed inbetween the one sided conversation... After a moment passed the breeze picked up and the clouds just seemed to tumble in. He pressed his ears against his head just in time for the ear-splitting crack that broke the silence and the flash that illuminated the beach. The rain came down in buckets all at onceÂ… <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td> uggÂ… sorry about the bad postÂ… </td></tr></table>
<span style='color:purple'>Tuju gasped. Her face flared up and became a shade of red you could compare cherries with. 'Oh my god...I......Someone was watching.....' The aquabat said something but she wasn't paying attention. "I ain't leaving!" She rummaged through her stuff for her video camera. She found it and started watching the sky for activity. "What about you? You just going to stick around?"</span>
The sky was already getting dark as Zale shook his head at her. He turned the other way and walked partway to the waters edge. Feeling the Rain slide off his blubber like fur he took a deap breath, breathing in the moisture filled air. The water smell int he air put a smile on his face. He loved the water and loved the weather. Some say he was wierd for being obsessed with studying the weather as he did but it interested him that he had the ability to predict it and find the perfect places and times to be somewhere. He had seen some of the most beautiful scenes some people miss. The clearest night skys, the redest glowing sunsets... Getting lost in his thoughts he looked up to the dark clouds, the rain pouring over him like a morning shower. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>hmmm... yes... morning shower... ^^; </td></tr></table>
<span style='color:purple'>Tuju grabbed her umbrella and stood by her 'compainion', watching for the storm to form. The clouds developed slowly over time, growing ever larger by the second. The sun was blocked from view as Tuju felt her fur grow to keep herself warm. She was getting more agitated by the second but remained calm, this stranger seemed so calm even though he had predicted a large storm. 'He'd better know what he's doing.' "So what's your name?" Tuju asked, not willing to give her own, just yet.</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>There, a bit better</td></tr></table>
The lightning cracked, illuminating the sky... With only seconds after, the thunder boomed through the sky. The storm was close... Anyone could tell that much. The Thunder was loud enough the deafen somebeast! The sun was completely blocked from view and the sky resembled a pool of ink on a white sheet of paper. Blinking at the question, Zale turned and look at the femme. His mind seemed to pause for a moment but regain speed as he remembered her question. <span style='color:teal'>Oh, Sorry, I get too immersed in the weather for my own good... My name is Zale. And you are?</span> He said reaching a hand to her. Before she had time to react a huge wind blew in, almost knocking then off their feet. Putting his hands up to shield his face from the wind he put a foot back to brace himself. The trees creaked and the waves on the beach got higher from the wind. The rain still poured, stinging like needles with the force of the wind at their backs. The wind was catching his under-wings. His wings were more for swimming than actually flying. They were positioned on the undersides of his arms. They weren't helping much in the fact that the wind was catching them and forcing his back. The gust subsided for a hopefully more than a few minutes. Zale found himself several feet back from his former position. Sighing and relaxing his tense body he walked back to the femme, hoping this time he would not get interrupted by the weather he loved so much. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td> Okay, sorry if the "weather he loved so much" Sounds corny but he loves the weather :P Not... love love... but you know what I mean... ^^; </td></tr></table>
<span style='color:purple'>Tuju grabbed his hand and while shaking it, she sent healing waves into his body, "I'm Tuju Uej." She grabbed a bag for her camera and put her umbrella away, it wasn't doing much anyways. "You sure it's safe to stay here? The storms getting pretty close!" By the delay in time from the lightning and thunder, Tuju guessed the storm would be on top of them in a matter of minutes. "At least I'll have something to show Pumeal next time I see him."</span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td> being grounded sucks... *koffkoff*</td></tr></table> Back in Character Zale shook his head sternly. the storm was already upon them and they needed to move, quickly. Ears perking up Zale grabbed Tuju's hands and pulled her away from where they were standing. Hitting the sand and shielding her with his body as a bolt struck a few feet from where they had been standing before. Sand flew in all directions and it was like little bits of glass showered them. Uncovering his head Zale looked up. turning around slightly he looked at the giant black indent in the beach. The sand particles looked as if they had all melted, covering the hole in what looked like a glossy covering. <span style='color:teal'>Yeah... I suggest we... move...</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td> It could happen =P </td></tr></table>
<span style='color:purple'>Alright, get into the car. Tuju hopped into the drivers seat, and, after waiting for Zale to get in the passangers seat, she handed him her camera, "I hope you know how to use that." She started the motor and drove off, "Crap the trees are ending. That makes us the prime target. Unless.....! This vehicle is an army car, check this out..." Tuju hit a switch near the steering wheel. A long metal pole extended 15 metres into the air. Immediately after, 4 thread-like pieces of metal shot out the back of the SUV "..and there you have it, instand electric tower. Curtesy of the U.S.R."</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I know this seems a like unreal, but :P Oh and her "car" is actually an SUV</td></tr></table>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>LOL okay ^^</td></tr></table> BIC: Getting into the car quickly he put his bag infront of him. Accepting the video camera and gathering up his own digital camera he rolled down the window and started snapping shots. A flash here, a flash there, he had great shots of everything. "These are going to be some pretty good pictures. make sure you get a copy of that video, i'll get doubles of these shots of mine if you'd like as well." He chuckled and took another picture. Turning on the video camera he video taped everything. When the trees cleared he had a chance to get better shotes but it was dangerous. He loved danger. Chasing hurricanes and tornados, that was his life. Seeing as the car changed, he smiled at Tuju and went back to taking pictures of everything he could find that looked interesting.
<span style='color:purple'>Tuju smiled saying, "sure" and kept driving. Moments later a huge bolt a lightning struck the tower of the car. All the intruments inside lit up and the car got a huge boost of speed for a few seconds. Tuju laughed, "This car's an electrical gas hybrid, so some of that power from the lightning went into the electric motor. Don't worry, there's a resistor to make sure only as much as it can handle gets through." Tuju continued to drive for half an hour before they were far enough away to get out. Grabbing her camera she continued to video tape the storm.</span>
When they stopped the storm was taking another course. It was slowly moving away from them. Hopping out of the car Zale took out his camera and zoomed in as well as he could without it looking too fuzzy or anything. Focusing his camera he took a few last shots and then returned to the car. He slipped the door open and grabbed his bag. His memory cartarigde on his camera was almost filled. Poping the cartaridge from the camera he slipped it in a zippered pouch in his bag, with a few others. Rumaging through his thing he found an empty memory card and clicked it into place on his camera, ready for anything else that he may come across. He sighed and pulled his bag from the car and looked at Tuju. He didn't want to bother her or anything, but he was trying to get words to form in his mouth to ask if he could get a ride somewhere. <span style='color:teal'>"Umm... I didn't want to ask... But would you mind, maybe... Driving me to the closest Inn? I need to find a place to stay the night... I really don't mean to be a bother..."</span> He sounded quite pathetic really, but it was all that he could say.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Jumpyn Kesi is the closest town to them, and it's where Tuju was staying during her break from the army. lol. Jumpyn Kesi means random city in ramathian.</td></tr></table> <span style='color:purple'>Tuju giggled at his question, "Sure." She got into the car, and drove off. Her stomach quietly reminded her to eat, "Hey, why don't I buy you lunch? I know a great place in Jumpyn Kesi, called Kuva, they serve the best Pastries you could dream of. What do you say?" Tuju let him think about it while she drove nearer to the town.</span>
Zale smiled, embarassed for his stupid sounding question. It was best to ask right?Closing the car door behind him, the car soon sped of towards Jumpyn Kesi. <span style='color:teal'>"Thats very kind of you..."</span> His stomach grumbled at the sound of food. he leant back into his seat and chuckled. <span style='color:teal'>"I guess both our stomachs agree, so i'll accept you offer before it tries to eat itself!"</span>
<span style='color:purple'>"Great." Tuju pulled into a parking space by the small cafe and walked inside. When she walked in she spotted the owner and called out, "Hey, Lokag!"</span> The shop was empty as usual around this time of day so the owner shouted too, "Tuju, you hear about that storm today?" <span style='color:purple'>Tuju burst into laughter, "I saw it first hand!"</span> "Wow, lucky. So? The usual?" <span style='color:purple'>"Yup."</span> "You bring Pumeal with you?" <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>The owner had never seen Pumeal so he didn't know Pumeal wasn't an aquabat.</td></tr></table> BIC: <span style='color:purple'>Tuju shook her head, "No this is my friend Zale, he appeared out of nowhere while I was on the beach, predicted a sudden storm, then ran from it with me." Turning to Zale she asked, "So? What do you want? I recommend the cinnamon bun."</span>
Raising a brow at the owner of the place, Zale chuckled. <span style='color:teal'>"Nasty storm... Funny, i've seen and been in worse..."</span> Smiling at Tuju he nodded. <span style='color:teal'>"A cinnamon bun sounds great. I've never been in here really, so i really don't know what i would have had..."</span> Turning back to Lokag her introduced himself and chuckled as the old man seemed very interested in hearing about worse storms than that. Having really no one else in the place the man sat down with them for a bit. both Zale and him exchanging short stories, making them both seem like old men. Knowing that most people dont like to listen to such things he looked at Tuju. <span style='color:teal'>"This... Isn't boring you is it? I can stop if you wish to talk about something else."</span> Smiling he looked back at Lokag, just as their food was placed in front of them by a young girl. She seemed very chipper and made sure they had all they needed. <span style='color:teal'>"Good service."</span> Zale said, as she left their table. <span style='color:purple'>"Yes, my grandaughter"</span>
<span style='color:purple'>"No, I'm quite interested in these stories of yours, I could share a few 'detailed' stories from my patrols, or" Tuju leaned in close to them, and grinned suggestively, "a few from behind the scenes." She burst out laughing, "Kidding, Pumeal would kill me if I did." Tuju sat down and began eating her bun, "Thanks, Faejpy, I never get tired of these,"</span> Faejpy closed her eyes, smiled and waved slightly, "I just finished making another batch so they are still fresh." Lokag grabbed her arm as she left, "You forgot you introduce yourself to Zale." Faejpy blushed in embarresment, "Oops, I'm Faejpy, pleased to meet you."
Zale, eyes a glow from the wonderfull taste of the bun, sat back and raised a hand in a wave. His mouth was full and opening it to talk would most likely be quite disturbing. Swallowing his mouthfull of warm pastry he smiled. "These are amazing Faejpy! You made them yourself?" He asked, webbed-paws grasping the last bite or so of the bun. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td> such a small post... -.-' </td></tr></table>
Faejpy giggled, "I'm glad you like it. I do make them myself but it's grandpa's recipe, he taught my father, who taught me, so I can't take ALL the credit. Tuju, is yours good as well?" <span style='color:purple'>Tuju had spaced off thinking of her beloved husband, snapping back to reality she say, "Oh yes, it's delicious."</span> Faejpy looked confused, "Is everything alright?" <span style='color:purple'>Tuju smiled weakly, "Yea, I just get like this when Pumeal or I take a vacation from the army."</span>
Placing he elbows on the edge of the table he turned his head to face Tuju. "You and Pumeal, away from eachother alot?" He asked. Since they were in the army, things could come up and they could be away from eachother for ages. He felt sorry for her. Having to be away from her love and all. "I know i'm probably not allowed to know exactly what it is you do, but i AM curious. Its always interesting to know about what you go through when your in the military..." He hoped he wasn't intruding or anything. He REALLY WAS curious to know.
