Out of Character

Dya 17

Thi sat beneath a tree in the courtyard, she was sketching something though you could tell by the way she looked and the concentration on her face that she was nothing of an artist. A golden Trisk sat sleeping with it's head tucked under it's wing in the tree above.
Out of Character

Character: Del Wearing: Black denim shorts, just past knee length, and a loose black tee-shirt, stylized with a large gold X on the front and back. Carrying: a small black bag, full of a number of notebooks and pens, plus a few odd misc. items

Del moved along through the courtyard- he had nothing to do, and he had over two hours of free time. he had thought of perhaps a nap, in a shady tree- he stepped left, off the path, and toward a tree of fair size. he nimbly leapt against the trunk, then into the lower branches. hanging by his hands, he dragged hard, and lifted himself onto a branch. he put an arm out to each side, and walked toward the other side of the tree. He slipped carefully through the branches, and spied a trisk that was a bit familier. he slid over next to it, sitting down quietly. he smiled at Panik, winked to the bird, and dropped out of the tree, to land in a crouch next to Thi. He slipped into a sitting position, very close to Thi and slid an arm around her shoulders, looking around carefully, before kissing her on the cheek quickly, and then looking at what she was doing in the sketch pad. How've you been, Thi? he asked in a polite manner, looking at her, and smiling at the look on her face, even though he couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was. He looked at what she was drawing again, but wasn't interested in it. he just wanted conversation, and a chance to flirt with Thi, as usual.
Thi smirked at Del as he slipped his arm around her and kissed her. She held the drawing close to her chest trying to hide it from Del. I've been good, but how have you been? she said semi-crypticlly.
I've been... alright, all things considered. he said. he slipped his hand gently onto her wrist, tugging it, to get a look at what was on the pad. what is it you are drawing, Miz Artist? he said playfully. He slipped a hand under Thi's legs, near her knees, and another around her middle, lifting her onto his lap without much of an effort. you're heavy! he joked, putting his arm back around her, and pulling her close to him. He put his head down on her shoulder from behind, smiling. I wanted to ask you something... he said slowly, trailing off.
She smiled at him and laid her head on his chest. Nothing but a new technique for me an Panik to try out for the hunts. She laughed as he joked with her. When she heard him, she asked What? She lifted her head from his chest and looked him square in the eyes.
He lost his nerve fast when she leveled eyes with him. I was thinking... to ask... uhm... he stumbled over his words pathetically. He leaned in, whispering into her ear quietly: I was wondering... if you have thought about... you and me... maybe... being some kind of couple...? he said nervously. He never was able to talk straight to a girl, and this was not an exception. I was thinking... we have had our 'moments'... but I don't think we have ever really said that we're a pair... he continued, feeling a bit less nervous, after asking his first question.
She blushed and looked away slightly. I.......I.....Well. M.maybe. Well...actually...yes! Yyes, I would like to be a "pair/couple" with you Del. Ii mean, Its only rright, rright? She sttutered and stumbled over her response and fiddled with her hands.
He smiled at the response. I think its only "right" if its what you want. Del said, pulling her against his chest again. He took her hand and held it in his own. I can't tell you whats right, you know... 'right' is a point of view.
Talon scratched his chin, standing less than a few feet away. You two make a cute couple, actually... He said out loud, keeping one hand near the blade half holding him up, and the other on his chin, to try and hide the innocent smile that was spread on his face, due to the fact that he had guessed they would get together sooner or later. So are you two busy? Or may I join you?
Out of Character

two post rule? or no double posting rule? (posting orders are evil- i avoid orders- too orderly! ;)

((Let's go with two-post rule.)) Thi looked up suddenly at Talon. She smirked at him. How long have you been there? she asked hands on her hips. But, with another thought, she turned around and planted a kiss on Del's lips. Yes! she whispered in his ear.
Del glanced up at Talon, smiled and nodded, before turning back to Thi. He blushed at being kissed, and brought a hand up to the back of Thi's head, returning the gesture. he pulled back, and turned to Talon. I think we are done for the moment... he said, winking to Thi playfully, sliding his hand from her head down to her lower back.
Talon smiled knowingly and sat down on the opposite side of the tree from them, still within earshot but now effectively giving them some sort of privacy. So why did you two wait so long? I could always see something between you... He shook his head and set his partisan against the tree, still grinning knowingly...
Thi looked at him evilly. You still haven't awnsered my question yet. she said. And you know i can easily sic Panik on you in less than two seconds. Panik hopped to the edge of the branch as though relishing the opportunity.
Del smiled and nodded to nobody in particular for a few seconds, then put a hand up and whispered to Thi silently. some things we ought to talk about later... if you don't mind... He smiled, pecked Thi on the cheek again, and turned his voice to Talon. You ought to answer the Lady's question, you know. he said jokingly.
Talon suddenly went solemn. I have been there long enough to know the nature of your relationship, don't forget I can turn Panik into a block of ice or a burnt patch of dark energy before you know it... But he suddenly broke out laughing and prodded the two with the end of his partisan. I've only been there for a moment or two, I just saw you and decided to drop by for a quick chat before I have to finish something up, then I saw Del's little bout of affection, why, did you see me as a vicious stalker who would kill you the instant your back was turned?
She swiped a paw at Talon's partisan laughingly. Talon, you're such a crud. she said as Panik squaked indignantly. And you know that if you hurt Panik I would be all over you in less than half a second.
And I'd help her! Del mocked, prodding Talon in the chest with his pointer finger multiple times. He yawned and dropped against the tree lazily. besides- you know its tricky to get a perfect block, talon. he said boredly, conjuring a small sphere of ice and tossing it to talon.
Talon smiled knowingly and crushed it, scattering pieces of smooth ice everywhere. And you know I would never do something like that. He commented, then twirled his partisan and laid it down beside him. After a few moments of looking up into the foliage, his pupiless eyes turned to the two. So, how long do you think it will last? Do you really love each other that much? His solemn question was meant to spark them into thinking about the future...
Thi's eyes widened at Talon's sudden and unexpected question. She glanced at him questioningly then looked back at Del. Well, she would see how Del awnsered and then she could make a prediction about the future.
