  1. time: dusk
    day: forty-seven
    season: dyo
    year: 81378

The sun danced playfully over the water, masking it in a glow of vivaciousness, sparkling sprays streching over the lake, basking everything in a surreal glow. The white sand refracted the light in a dreamy way, but only one, alone male, saw it. His redish-orange hair sits over his head, barely reaching his neck, anthro form sat watching the lake. Strong body, toned, and muscled, was relaxed, faded black fur shimmering in the morning light. Piercing yellow eyes had a gentle hue, small feathered redish-orange wings shed. Redish-orange markings played across his body, tail flame a subdued blue. A slight sight emitted from his lips, for everything was perfect... except he was alone. He had spent all day yesterday on a mission, and the evening watching couples and friends having fun on the beach. Here he was. Alone. But why? Why couldnt some one else be around? It was easy. He was a spy. And at the moment, he was hating it.

  2. Okkie sauntered around the edge of the blue waters, her tail swaying lazily after her. Tonight was one of those nights when she pushed all social and academic issues aside, and took a walk alone. She very rarely got these opportunities, and when she’d realized she had nothing to do on this eve, the femme had decided it was the perfect time for a lonesome stroll. Of course, she would not have minded if her boyfriend, Javelin Valimos, had tagged along, but the male was busy with his own schedule. Thus, she had wandered out alone for a long walk around the perimeter of Magi Lake, letting the cool air of dusk fill her lungs.

She was only wearing a pair of low-slung black cargo pants (with the name Reveri Silvent sewn in glittering mercury thread on the bum) and a white tee shirt, the left sleeve having been rolled with the gentlemanly help of Jace. No shoes were upon her feet, and Okkie smiled and chortled when grass tickled her toes and sand rubbed against her soles. Her single hand was in her pocket, and a visor shadowed her cranium, as she lazily sauntered. She politely ignored all the others on the beach, keeping her distance as she padded around the lake. To avoid eye contact, she kept the brim of her visor low on her cranium. It was not that she was anti-social, she just wanted to be alone tonight.

But all that changed when the young Twelve began to stare out over the lake. She kept walking as she watched the rays of fading sunlight ripple over the glassy surface of water. Then, because she was not watching where she was going, she felt her foot jam on something soft, and then she tumbled forward, suddenly finding herself sprawled across a male her age.

“Oh. Ah. Sorry. I wasn’t paying attention,” She mumbled as she quickly picked herself up and backed away. “Ah, did I hurt you? I’m sorry. I was distracted by the light on the water.”

  3. Tiel was suprised that someone had came upon him and his little place, and it showed as he stood up quickly, getting his act together. He waited for his hair to settle and his flame turn a normal grayish hue before smiling slightly at the fae.

<span style='color:orange'>'It's fine, no big problem. Just suprised me a little.'</span> He nodded his head in salutations. <span style='color:orange'>'I'm Zistiel, you can call me Tiel. You are?'</span> Though it sounded kind of defensive, Tiel was polite, and it was all ment in a very calm way. His orangish markings looked surreal in the little light, and when he bent his head, it seemed, for a moment, as if the redish-orange hair and stripes were all that were there, just floating about, but then, as his eyes reappeared and opened, the illusion left.

  4. The sky was darkening, and Okkie thought that it was probably time to turn back and return to the Janardan dormitories. She knew that it was quite possible Jace would want to have dinner or coffee with her later, and there was no way she was going to miss that date. But, first, she had to make sure this enigmatic stranger really hadn’t been hurt by her klutzy trip.

“You sure you’re okay? I’m, ah, Okkie.”

  5. <span style='color:skyblue'>He smiled at the fae. She sure seemed worried about what was she did. In fact, it didn't hurt at all. It was nice seeing *some one* after the darkness had fallen.</span>

<span style='color:gray'>'I'm fine, no problem, really. Don't worry about it.'</span>

  6. “All right. Well, then, I’m sorry to have interrupted you this eve. I should be going now…"

Okkie turned now, her serpentine tail winding after her as she prepared to walk away. She waited a moment to see if the male would say anything more, and when he did not, she shrugged and began to pad back the way from whence she had come. Returning to her home, to Javelin, to a pleasant dusk. But even as she did so, she kept her ears flopped backwards, in case the one she had tripped over wanted to call her back. For one reason or anotherÂ…

  7. <span style='color:gray'>'Hey, wait.' He didn't know, why, for any reason at all he would want to call her back, for it was obvious she had somewhere to go, but why had she been walking alone so slowly if she did, anyways? He his paws lifted swiftly to catch up with her.</span>

  8. By now, Jace will be done with all his work, and we can probably grab a bite at the cafeteria or the local eatery. Or better yet, we should pick up some Irish mochas or something, XII thought to herself as she padded further and further from Tiel. Her mind was no longer on him, and their little incident had already begun to fade from her memory bank. Then a little cuddling and a lot of talking. Maybe a good kiss or two…

Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a thick voice, and Okkie paused. She knew who was calling, but could not possibly imagine why. Nevertheless, she swiveled around, and peered at the male whom she had tripped over only moments before. He was fading in and out of view, what with his black pelt, but her glowing oculars easily picked up on his silhouette against the pitch blackness of dusk.

    “Wait…? For what, praytell?”

She didn’t mean to be nasty or impolite, but right now she was yearning to be with her sweetie. And she had always been rude to those whom impeded her, those whom got between her and that which she desired.

  9. <span style='color:gray'>'Well, sorry, I don't know, exactly...'

He looked a bit embarassed, for why should he wan't her to come back? He himself didn't even know, but, then, he did much with out knowing why, that was how he was.

'Where are you going, at this time of night?'

He looked back for a moment, supressing a slight sigh, then back the the femme.</span>

  10. She paused against the backdrop of fading dusk, uncertain as the male spoke. It occurred to her that she was a lone female in the presence of what looked to be a rather well-built male, but the chords of fear which thrummed inside her were not too potent. Okkie could put up a good fight, using her single fist to slam a good slug in his jaw. Or she could always just go for the prime target — right between his legs, jeopardizing his ability to have children. Other options swam through her head as she hesitated, and her ears flicked once silence resumed. His words, and his question, did not seem too threatening, perhaps she would not need her spy training in order to kick his butt.

“I’m going to see my boyfriend. My very strong, easily-angered boyfriend.”

  11. <span style='color:gray'>Now he waited, ears flicking slightly. His eyes wandered around this area. Hair slightly shifted a top his head, then he nodded, as he heard her speak, but it to him a moment to fully comprehend what she was saying. Was there a slight of threatening in her tone, now? ...strong, easily angered... That seemed as much like a ..get away or he'll beat you.. but that was just his mind, how it worked, which, in fact, was quite unlogic, as he used not much of his common sense. So, in his distorted mind, he took it as a threat, but he stayed cool.

    'Sorry, didn't know...'

He shrugged, blew a strand of hair out of his eyes, and continued.

    'Have fun tonight.'

He left it at that, final thought, although his mind would have liked to wander off the point and start getting serious about that being - a threat? He didn't though. As well as her, the last thing he said could be veiwed either way.</span>

  12. <h4>Out of Character</h4>Sorry to be skipping out so early, but I am so busy. Plus, I thought it would be neat for them to leave on bad terms, then meet each other again sometime, later.
<h4>In Character</h4>In actuality, Javelin was a mild-tempered, sweet boy, and Okkie knew that he would never harm a fly unless provoked. But the point was — Tiel didn’t know that. For all he knew, her boyfriend could be a hulking monstrous Fabio-type, easily capable of slamming fists, busting balls, and breaking jaws. And Okkie had no reason to sway this assumption from his mind.

“I will. Uh, see you around then.”

And she scurried off, never looking back, not caring if she saw that particular male ever again.

  13. <span style='color:00ccff'>ooc| Ok I'm fine with that - you can't really go to long when one of thems going on a date anyway ;) Thanks for the roleplay.</span>
