23rd Day of Tessera, 81379 [-> night <-] In-play - Kitirah MoonBlayde Private for - Morichai's Damien Umdal ------------------ 'Some things just never changed about certain personalities. Me, for example. Sometimes, even when they think they've moved on, and left what had happened before behind, they in truth have gone nowhere, and remain in the same position. Stuck in hell, so to speak. Well, at least that was what was going on in this case. It did try, but trying's never enough now, is it...' Silver moonlight streamed lightly down from the three orbs hanging in the night sky. One, the first crescent disc was perched the highest up and at its peak in the heavens. The second heavenly body that was drifting around the sky was half full, and was just below the first, and a little ways to the left. The third moon was full, and hovering a ways below the other two. The craters were clearly visible, and stood out darkly against the silver surface, giving the celestial creature a crackled design across its surface. It was farther to the right of the first two as well, by quite a ways. The cloud cover that night was incredibly light, never completely obscuring one of the moons, but occasionally hazing over one. The stars scattered through the heavens were only visible occasionally, and then only the brightest. The dimmer ones were outshone by the silver beams of the three moons. And why, you ask, is any of this notable? Why should anyone give a bloody damn in hell? No reason whatsoever. The only one who would give a damn, probably, would be the one that was sitting up a tree with nothing better to do than watch the heavens. But, who knew; maybe there was actually a few astronomers and astrologers that actually cared about their profession. But that's not for us to know, nor care about. Silver moonlight dappled and glinted off the silver pelt of the slender form a Yki who was lying with her back against the trunk, and legs stretched out in front of her, one bent up, and her arms dangling down. Her tail hung over the branch as well, dangling down lightly. She was two or three levels of branches up, but still a bit visible against the shadows. It was Tessera, and so the leaves were beginning to fall, thinning her screen of protection. Blue and green bi-coloured msimatched eyes glinted metallically in the faint light, coldly reflecting anything they were directed at. Kit didn't mean to be cold. She just was. Turning her face slowly downwards without blinking, she pushed back the split billowy sleeve over her left arm, and inspected the tattoo put in place there. It was a twisted mass of thorns and rose vines twining around her forearms from elbow to wrist. At the moment, the vines were a fading green, mottled with a tiny spec of brown here and there. The leaves were the same way. Most of the flowers were gone as well, only one or two dried faded dusky ones remaining. Last week everything had still been green. Ah, well, such was thing with magic infused tattoos. This one followed the seasons, the plants changing as they would in the real world. Strange, yes, but interesting none the less. As well, a fog had rolled in, a thick obscuring mist that hovered from the ground and up about ten metres. Kit was high enough that even though she was still obscred partially by the mist, she could see through it to the stars. It was odd, watching the roiling white swirls below. Turning her eyes upwards once more, she let one clawed fore-paw brush a fallen leaf from the black silken boot-cut pants that she wore. The stars were visible, barely. She swished her long fox-like bushy tail a little idly, and then returned to staring at the heavens. 'Things are so different here,' her mind chimed at her. 'What ever happened to home?'
