<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Timestamp: Mia 3rd, 81378 -Remember to timestamp</td></tr></table> Mint Forgd had been walking through the dark forest all night. She was sure why she was but that was shat she was doing. Her legs weren't tired though she had not stopped once at all. She sighed deeply when she saw the dark bush that she had passed three times. She wasn't lost but still... she didn't really want to be here. She suddenly turned off the the faint path that she had been following and walked into the forest as the morning hue began to relight tht forest. As she used her small dagger to cut brush out of the way she the forest became brighter and brighter. Finally after about an hour Mint came to a large clearing. In the center was a hut. The hut looked very old and uninhabited so she walked to the door and tried to push it open. Locked, she reached into her pack and pulled out a small invention of her own. A clay material that hardened once molded into something and once wet it can be molded again. She pushed the clay into the old rusted lock and the clay molded into the shape of the key. Soon she had the door unlocked. She pushed it open and heard it creak loudly. The entire house had several layers of dust covering everything. She was about to explore it when she heard a noise coming from above her. She was not alone.
Kutz Agon cursed herself after tripping over what looked like an empty box covered in a layer of dust. That was the third time she'd tripped. Was she that clumsy? The first had been in the kitchen when she broke in. The second was on the stairs when she was climbing up. And now this. She sighed and got up in bipedal form, dusting away dirt and dust from her sky blue colored shirt. Her black colored pants now had little spots of white on it and her snowy white fur had grey spots. She didn't even bothered to dust them away. She was bound to trip again anyway. Actually, now that she think of it, the reason for her tripping was because she had heard someone downstairs. She didn't really think that anyone would come here. This place looked so abandoned she was sure most people would run away as soon as they see this hut. She grabbed her black bag and swung it over her shoulder. Maybe it was just the wind. But still, she should go down and see if she was still alone. She walked out of the room and into the hallway. Her bare paws hardly making a sound, thanks to her canine genes. She reached the top of the stairway and took a peek downstairs. The front door was open and... who is that? She nearly lost her balance but managed to grab the old creaking stair handle for support. She looked at the new comer again with her blue eyes. She hoped whoever it was, didn't hear her.
Mint, after a moment, decided that the noise she had heard was just her imagination. She began to explore the dusty shack but stayed in the main room. She decided to make a fire so she could see...maybe the lightls worked. Mint doubted it but walked over to one of the switches and flipped it. A dim light was cast over the shadows and the main room became less frightening. Mint decided to make a fire anyway. It was getting cold for some reason. She found an old fire place in a corner and made a glowing fire. Lucky for Kutz, in all Mint's bussling about she stayed away from the stairs. She wasn't even doing it on purpose. Mint seemed to be having the same problem as Kutz though she didn't know it. As she was studying the cieling which had strange markings on it she tripped on the leg of an overturned table. She landed in a comical position and lay on the ground not moving for awhile as she tried not to break the silence with her laugh.
Kutz was frozen in her spot for at least two minutes. Then the intruder or whoever that was had decided to explore the house. She breathed a sigh of relief and released her thight grip on the banister. Slowly and quietly, she went down the stairs. She was about to go out of the hut when cold wind came through the doorway, making the white 'dragon shiver. Maybe I should stay a little while longer, she thought as she quickly closed the creaking door. Whoever it was that came to the hut was making a whole lot of noise. Kutz turned towards the noise and saw the other. She saw that Mint had already lighted the fire place. Only when Mint had tripped over an old table did Kutz realized that she was in plain view for the other to see. She just stood there, her mind having an argument about whether to run or to help.
Mint couldn't help it, she started laughing loudly, glad to have found something of amusement in this old shack. Finally after wiping tears from her eyes she stood and wtopped smiling suddenly. She had found Kutz. There was a 'dragon standing by the front door which was now closed though it had been open before and Mint was rather annoyed at herself for not going upstairs to see if anyone was up there. She looked the 'dragon up and down and then said <font color="aqua"> How did you get in her? </font> Mint shivered as the wind howled making shutters bang loudly. Sha suddenly became very cold. She walked over to the fire looking at the other 'dragon uncertainly wondering if the 'dragon could be trusted. She also wondered how long the 'dragon had been in the shack. <font color="aqua"> Hey, do you want anything to eat? I have some meat in my pack that we can cook or you could eat it raw I don't care.</font> Mint didn't wait for an answer and pulled out to large slabs of meat. She grabbed one for herself and began to cookit over the fire, becoming very eager to eat after all the walking she had had to do to get her.
Kutz's mind was in a blur. The stranger is laughing. At what? Then the stranger stood and noticed Kutz. The other looked at her up and down. All the while, Kutz just watched with a raised eyebrow. How did you get in here? A question from the other. Was she living in this old place filled with dust and mites? Kutz don't think so. But the stranger did come in from the front door... "Erm... I got in by the back window," she said softly as the other looked at her strangely. Probably wondering if Kutz was to be trusted. Another question was asked. This time it involves food. At the mention of the word 'meat', Kut'z stomach grumbled. She placed a paw over her stomach as if to stop the rumbling. It went on. She wanted to eat. But she remembered her mother told her a million times not to take from strangers. So she just watch as the stranger cooked her meat on the fire. Already, sweet aroma of the food filled her nostrils. Isn't it her time to ask a question too? Perhaps a name? Yes, a name would be good. "Who are you?" came her timid voice.
Mint nodded when Kutz said she had gotten into the window, it was the easy way in and out of any building. She continued cooking the meat until the sweet smell forced her to eat even if it wasn't completely done yet. She ripped off a piece chewing it looking slightly comical for on her face was a thoughtful expression as she thought whether or not to tell the stranger who she was, but at the same time her maw was moving up and down as she chewed. <font color="aqua"> I'm Mint, are you sure you don't want any? Suit yourself... and you are? </font> Mint finished her slab of meat quickly and was about to start on the second when she caught the look on the others face. Kutz was hungry but wouldn't admit it... so Mint began to cook the second slab waiting to see if Kutz would ask for the meat anyway.
<span style='color:blue'>"Huh...? Smell... I smell.. food...</span> He was half lost. He could've found his way out easily, but he thought that was almost cheating the adventure. He was just supposed to walk 'up' right? It's been 18 hours. It became prretty evident to him that the reason they called it a black market was because most of it is either illegitimate information or a scam. Sadly, the deal that was made consisted of both. Deprived of food, was he. All he could think of was food. His jaws biting into a beautiful piece of beef, slurping on an ice cold slush until he encountered brainfreeze, or even lunging into a bowl of salad... without tomatoes! BUt all that didn't matter to him now. Because it was in his line of sight. Actually in his line of smell. Like a psychopath, he litterally rolled over to the little cabin with a nowhere-close-to-my-normal-sane-state smile. His blue fur caught dust and dirt in the process. Upon reaching next to the front door, he got up. Still with his I-just-escaped-from-the-asylum-run-by-rapine smile, he walke, no, dragged his feetinside the weird looking shack. With every footstep his head tilted left and right as if it was a bobble-head doll. When he entered he didn't notice either of the two dragons in front of him. Still, he knew they were there. His hair was ruffled, his short filled with many a tear, and his fur no longer looked more of a dirty brown color. Just by looking at him, you can tell that it was his house, even though it wasn't. But if it was anyone's, it would be his. MOuth droooling and toungue hanging, he picked his head up. With his eyes wide open looking at the chunk of leftover mammal that someone was about to eat. He walked closer, slowly and slowly to it. INching his way towards it. With evry shuffle of his legs he can taste a bigger piece of it in his mouth. By this time, it would be impossible to tell the difference between him and a zombie. Once he was about an equal distance between the door and the food, the wind blew. WHat a great way to make an entrance. With the wind came a box. The box flew and covereed his whole head. With that, his sanity returned. <span style='color:blue'>AHH! WHAT TH- Huh? where? who? </span> He took the box off his head. As he dropped it on the floor, he tripped. Tripped over the same box he put down. First thing he would think of would be the word<span style='color:blue'> OWW! #^$&*(^&$*(#</span>he picked im self up, holding his head. <span style='color:blue'>"Umm... hey. Err... what was I doing here?</span> He was just another lost case. As all youth are. Mabe he could change his name from Suro Crali, to Suro Crazy.
With a weird expression on her face, the white femme stared as the other devoured her food as if there was no tomorrow. Kutz shook her head when Mint asked if she wanted food. Then she watched as Mint pulled another slab of meat and began cooking. "I'm Kutz," she said. Now her stomach was scolding her for not feeding it. She was about to ask for meat when her sensitive ears picked up the sound of the front door opening. She turned and saw what looked like the beggar in the streets she met a few weeks ago. Was that creature the owner of this dust filled place? She watched as the new comer turned and began walking like in a trance. Her heart thumped as the person-who-looks-like-never-bathed-for-years walked or rather, dragged closer. This guy is weird. She could see the slimy saliva sliding down from his tongue, dripping unto the dusty floor. Then out of nowhere, a box came flying and landed on the male's head. Watched on as the male complained, tripped, and asked what he was doing here. Was it possible that he was sleep walking? "Uh... hi," she said. If he was the owner of this shack, she should run. She broke into his house!
Mint laughed as the newcomer came in walking-as-though-totally-drunk-with-no-brains and then did a little acting for fun. She grabbed the last slab of meat from her bag and acted disgusted by the guy, she tossed the food at him as though he was some sort of infection or a wart (of course he wasn't but...it was funny anyway). She heard Kutz's stomach rumble and went ahead and tossed her a piece as well. Mint would have liked to have all of the three pieces but she had met some unexpected people <font color="aqua"> And the hungry mummy's name is? I'm Mint. </font>
He clawed it at the moment it was thrown at him.<span style='color:blue'> " Ehh.. reflexes.</span>Looking at himself, he noticed that his fur was just a bit... no. WAYYY off it's original color. He was not blue but he was brown. But he couldn't fix that. His stomach was empty and his claws are stuck into a piece of... <span style='color:blue'>"Mmm... turkey... the other other white meat.</span>He would've stuffed the whole thing in his mouth if his mind wasn't thinking of something else <span style='color:blue'>" I'll be hungry again in about an hour anyway. Low on food equals savor.</span> HE still bit it with his I-am-a-crazy-psychopath-with-a-hollow-orb-attached-to-my-shoulders smile. <span style='color:blue'>My name is not important. If you must call me anything call me Fork. For that is my name... Well... not really.</span> He didn't know if he should say it or not but since they didn't seem to be serial killers/rapists or whatever, he did anyway. <span style='color:blue'>"I am Suro Crali. Not Suro Crazy, or whats-his-name, or ...oh-yeah...-you're-that-guy. But you can call me Fork anyway... Now what are dragons like you, doing in a dusty place like this? I mean, your clothes look too clean for you to live here. I already seen you brake in through the kitchen window...and trip...and fall.. and brake stuff. That was actually kinda funny. But you had a key. </span> Did she live here? SHe looked old enough to live on her own but also too clean to have such a dusty shack such as this.
Mint laughed at Fork's eating habbits. <font color="aqua"> I didn't have the key...my trade is lock picking...Fork. </font> Mint smiled at the name. It was strange but fun and intertaining at the same time. She decided that she was going to like this guy. She liked funny people, they kept her in a good mood. She stood and walked into the kitchen to see if there was anything edible in the cubbards. There wasn't. She walked back into the main room by the fire. <font color="aqua"> This place wouldn't look too bad if it wasn't so dusty and filled with boxes and so old and with everything falling apart... nevermind... but it WOULD be nice...</font>
Catching the thrown meat that Mint had given her, her eyes still had not been taken away from the new comer. After he grabbed the meat as if he hasn't eat in weeks and spoke his part, Kutz was sure that he wasn't the owner of this shack. I already seen you brake in through the kitchen window...and trip...and fall.. and brake stuff She was surprised. She clearly remembered looking around and making sure no one was watching her before she broke in. She was also quite dissapointed that she wasn't careful enough. Kutz watched the two talk. Her head was blank. She had never been with company before. All the while, she liked being alone. But seeing how her social skills lacked, she wanted to be with people now. She opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. She didn't know how to communicate. So she sat down on the dusty floor and chewed her meat as the wind outside grew colder and so did the hut.
<span style='color:blue'>"I dunno. I'm not a room decorator. I'm just a guy with a need to shower at the moment but that's not something to talk about. If I brought Rloa here she'd pull out the paint. Good thing i didn't then.</span> SUro looked at Kutz. She didn't seem like the one to talk. That personality was way too familiar to forget. She opened her mouth, closed it, but no food went inside. To Suro, that can mean two things. One would be that Kutz can't see the food in front of her face. As many times as she tripped over things, she was too aware to be blind. So that left Suro with the second choice. <span style='color:blue'>"So, Kutz."</span>He didn't think he pronounced that right, but he kept going anyway.<span style='color:blue'> What do you do?</span> Loneliness was a disease to Suro.
Mint nodded looking over at Kutz who hadn't spoken much. She wondered why Kutz was so shy, it could be something like a family problem or maybe she was lonely as Fork thought. She smiled at Kutz thinkning that the femme probably needed some assurance.
A gust of wind passed by her and she shivered a little. Fork had asked her something. It took her a while to come back down to earth and figure out what he was saying as she was daydreaming when the two interacted. Finally snapping out of it, she looked up. "Me?" she asked, one white paw pointing to herself. It wasn't necessary as Fork already said her name. She looked over to Mint who smiled at her. The both weren't scary and they were decidedly friendly. Kutz relaxed a little and answered Fork's question, a twinge of happiness that she can learn how to socialise now... she hoped. "I... uh... sing. I'm learning the arts of healing too."
Mint looked at Kutz pitifully, she seemed really nervous and shy so Mint decided to try and break the ice between them. She looked back at the fire for a moment thinking up a question that was not yes or no so that Kutz would have to talk a little more. <font color="aqua"> So, Kutz, what do you like to do in your free time? I honestly like to climb trees and practice my trades, read and swim. What about you Fork?</font> Mint remembered to ask Fork as well for she didn't want to make Kutz more nervous by asking her all the questions.
Her bushy tail was now swishing behind her. It was actually the first time that she had a conversation going. Okay, well not like she's the one having the conversation going, but at least it didn't stop like most of her other conversations. "Well I like to sing. I compose some music on my free time and create some tunes." Kutz said, gaining a little more confidence. "I don't mind exploring either. I guess that's why I'm here." Then she waited for the male to respond. Slightly curious in what he does. Though she don't doubt that he would be a beggar in the streets...
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>don't worry about it</td></tr></table> Mint was glad that Kutz seemed to be loosening up a little and when Kutz mentioned that she liked to explore, Mint's green orbs lit up and she said with enthusiasm, <font color="aqua"> If you really like to explore how about we head upstairs and explore this house, I have a flashlight for the rooms in which lights don't work... </font> Mint began to search through her small pack finally pulling out a large flashlight. She flicked it on and off to show that it was working pretty well so they wouldn't have to worry about it running out.
Kutz grinned at Mint. Her blue eyes might had lit up like Mint's green but she didn't bother to hide it. The other had actually invited Kutz to explore this house. Which was very nice. She had a friend and she didn't have to explore places on her own. She watched the femme pulled out a torch from her bag and flicked it on and off, proving that the battery was still in good shape. "Great idea!" she replied. "But we have to watch out for boxes and what nots, though. I tripped several times in this dusty old place." And she wrinkled up her nose as a few dust balls flew by. She tried to hold back that coming eruption, but failed. She sneezed, sending herself a few steps back.
