Day : 30th Month : Dyo Year : Year 2 Speech: bold Thought: italics Telepathy: {Bracketed} Character: Shade Bonded Shade glanced at the sun, his dark reddish fur glistening in it like dried blood. It would be gone soon, as the afternoon's light was dwindilng away. As he walked, the Pendragon shifted the large, blackened wings on his back, moving his shoulderblades a little to let his back stretch out for a moment. He had only recently started to go to this school, and he knew hardly anyone around the place, so he padded his way over to a bench, and sat comfortably. With him he carried a bag, which held a few books, writing utensils, paper, and a knife. He needed the hunting knife, obviously, for hunting, but now he kept it safely in its sheath. He also had jaws and teeth enough to discourage anyone that tried to take it. But today he was not hunting, though he had gone out breifly that morning. He had to study for his philosophy class instead. Sometimes he wondered why he hadn't taken something more fun, like espianoge. But he had already learned a lot about philosophy, and meant to go on with it, weather he liked it or not. If not anything else, he might be able to teach someone else what knowledge he'd gained on the subject. But he didn't open the book just yet. First he observed his surroundings, wondering if there was anyone around that he might be able to talk to. There were some students roaming about, and some teachers as well, whom seemed to be monitoring the situations. His wide grey eyes took it all in, and he wondered if anyone had noticed him yet or not. Of course, he could have cared less if females were noticing, lest they wanted to be friends, but it didn't make a difference. He was still alone, either way. A red-brown paw raised to the top of his head, lightly touching the black, soft spikes, for no real reason. The young male enjoyed alone time, but he also liked company sometimes. Someone to be silly with, or someone that needed talked to. Anyone, really, just so long as they didn't give him any type of trouble with their presence. His black-tipped ears pricked up slightly, and Shade let out a contented sigh, as he reached down, and took out one of his books. He opened it to the place he had bookmarked, and began to go over it again. But his mind was elsewhere...
Lyra was taking a break from her classes to spend some time in the courtyard. She looked around with her violet eyes. It was all new to her. She had come here from Bhim not to long ago and needed some time to think. She saw another pendragon reading on a bench and went to go sit beside him. She looked up at the sun, fading away. It would soon be time to go back in and it would be hard to see her in the dark being all black.
Cyon wandered the grounds aimlessly, after all, she had just got here and had not had signed up for any classes yet. She might as well stay in Lock Picking and Con Artistry, she was good at those trades after all. But maybe she should take a class in Ramathian? She wasn't too fluent in it, after all. Tiring of worrying herself over classes, she decided to speak to the next Pendragon she found. Her hetrochromatic eyes settle on Shade. She walks in a slow, friendly way over to him and extends her paw in greeting "Hello there, I do not believe we have met. None the less, I am Cyon K'sol. I'm new here too and confused about my classes so your not alone. So...you wanr to...errr...talk?" To this Cyon adds a nervous smile,
Louran comes bounding through the gates in a state of panic. Late again with several works unfinished. In his rush he trips and lands hard on the ground his books scattering. He dusts himself off and nurses his paw which begins to bleed slighty. He quickly grabs his work. As he gets to his feet again his eyes cross paths with Lyras, and with a quick smile he is back on his way.

Grey eyes settled first upon one femme, silent, and another, seemingly a bit more talkative, but also more nervous than the ebony female sitting next to him. Shade smiled at both of them, glad for their sudden prescence, which had come all at once, and stuck his paw out to meet Cyon's. He wondered how she knew he was new as well, and hoped it wasn't all too obvious that he was mad at philosophy as a whole. In any case, she seemed like a freindly enough friend, and he motioned with his paw to the place on the bench on one side of him, hoping that she would sit as well. Well I'm not having that hard of a time... Just philosophy's so complicated. Maybe I just don't love it as much as I do hunting. As his own face spoke of hunting, his calm face seemed to brighten just a slight bit. He did love hunting, and had loved it since the beggining. If only he'd picked another subject that was just as good... but so be it, he'd picked philosophy, and he would live. Suddenly, at that moment, Shade realised that he'd forgotten to introduce himself. My name is Shade, by the way, Shade Bonded. He then remembered the other girl, and turned a little, touching her shoulder lightly. And how about you? What is your name? At about this time, he watched a passerby fall and then begin to go on his way again. That must have been a bit embarressing... But Shade said nothing. Instead, he waited for a reply from one of the two girls he was sitting with. Of course, the red-toned hunter did wonder what the other male had been in such a hurry for. Maybe he was late for something? You never could tell.
As the male pendragon came running into the Courtyard Lyra looked up to see who it was. The pendragon then tripped and his books went every where. He then looked up and smiled at her. She sent a smile back hoping that he wasn’t hurt to bad before he ran off. She turned back to the other pendragon who had asked her name. “My name is Lyra, I hope I’m not bothering you while sitting here I just needed to get away from the crowed hallways."
Slowing down sore and breathless Louran slumps down on the nearest bench to get a better look at his paw. A quick glance back at the group made him fell uneasy about his fall. "I'm such an idiot, I bet they're laughing their heads off", he thought to himself. He looked to his books and sighed deeply. "Maybe it was to-morrow at least I hope it was....." He then began to lick his wound clean and reached for one of the books next to him. He smiled as he became engrossed in the story the pages of the book weaved before him.
Cyon smiles happily at the other female and the reader before taking a place on the bench herself Well Shade, it isn't completely noticable that you are new, let's just say that I can 'sense' these things. Philosophy, eh...sounds better than what the fates choose for me. I personaly think it would've been nice to have had a chance to take up a trade a little more 'intuliectual', but I'm not you.
