Quebeh flicked her tail in annoyance, there was water all around them, and yet, they were not wet. Well, she needed to get out more, so took a random teleporter, and ended up here. She looked up, at the glass dome protecting them, " It could break at any moment, how can people live here? Where is all the sand? " she muttered disdainfully. Her wings carefully tucked under her jacket, fluttered nervously. " Look on the bright side Quebeh, " she told herself, " there might be an auditorium around here that needs a temporary singer. " She knew it wasn't true though.

She just stood around, looking at the passerby, so carefree; it sent a shiver down her spine. " It needs more sand down here. " she grumbled, and sat on a bench, messing with some song lyrics to her newest song.

She was relaxed when she thought of her songs, but when she wasn't she felt like puking in one of the roadside garbage cans. She shuddered and put her music away, she folded her ears against her head, and tried to think of happy thoughts, it took her mind off of the water, and she hated being surrounded by water like this.

No kidding. He said putting out his cigarette.

Fen had been down here for the better part of the day, was supposed to help one of his friends, but they never showed, so he was pretty much stuck down here, not to mention very lost. He walked over to the golden colored thill, she obviously didn't like something down here, wasn't sure what, but it had to be something big from her stance.

I bet if they had sand down here the water wouldn't be so out of place.

3. Her eyes snapped open when the arden started to speak to her. "Where I come from, we never have anything more that a five second rainfall. I'm not used to this much water. But sand is much nicer, it doesn't kill... as often." she'd seen alot of sandstorms, and heard of alot of floods, and tsunamis, and hurricanes, there were more 'dragons dead after one of those, then a sandstorm. That had been her response to him, she didn't feel obligated to say anything more, until he spoke, it was the way she had been raised, and the way she lived.

But that was the old way now, so she decided to introduce herself, "By the way, I'm Quebehsenuef, but you can just call me Quebeh. Everyone but the..." she was about to say guardians call her by her whole name, but she didn't feel like being a guardian today, other anubi, they call me by my whole name, everyone else sticks with just Quebeh."

4. I never much cared for the desert, then again, it never really cared for me either... he said.

He folded his arms, not to come off as imposing, but just because he didn't know what to do with his hands. She was interesting, he just didn't quite believe her when she paused and added in 'other anubi' sure they might ahve been anubi, but they were probably a specific kind, like the ones that guarded that prison... whatever it's name was.

The name's Fen. Not quite as interesting as yours, though do you mind if I call you Beth? He asked, he didn't say, but he had the awfulest time getting the 'qu' sound.

5. She shuddered, "I'd rather not be called Beth, if anything, you can call me Sen." She was interested when he reffered to the desert 'not liking him' it was an interesting concept, considering, the desert never likes anyone. The must've been a very traumatic experiance, for anyone to actually say they didn't like it. Or something different, there were few that the desert actually shunned, she couldn't remember who, or what, they were.

6. Sorry... Sen. He apologized, he hadn't meant to insult her, as he felt he had just done somehow, but not being able to say her name would have been low.

He wasn't about to say, but for his kind when they wen through the change there was nothing for them to tear, shred and otherwise harm, except himself, probably the reason why under his fur in certain places it was a mess of scars.

Mind if I ask why a land lover like yourself would be down here?
Hey it was something to talk about.

7. "I wanted to get away from the desert, I got to Bhim, and caught a random teleporter, it took me down here." she said. The whole time she had been talking she was absentmindedly fiddling with her music. She noticed that, and quickly tucked it away in her jacket. "I didn't expect it to take me underwater, but it did." she said, shortly after putting away her music. And also after restraining herself from saying, 'Getting away from my blasted temple as well, priests are nice, but they sure can be a pain in the arse sometimes.'

8. Ouch... Talk about culture shock.

He watched as she fiddled with some sheets of paper, he didn't get to see what they were, probably a report or something.

A friend of mine wanted me to come down so we could move some stuff, of course soon as I get down to the bar I'm supposed to meet him in the guy running the place says that my buddy went out with some other person and hasn't been seen for the last three days. He said, in the better part of one breath.

9. "Hmmm interesting, missing person case, if you ask me, he's dead and in a dumpster somewhere." she said, after hearing Fen's description of his being here. "What would your guess be Fen?" she asked, she wanted to go missing person hunting, but didn't want to say that outright. Well, she did want to say it outright, "Missing person hunting is fun no?"

"The sand is at the bottom." A clear, deep voice was heard from a fellow Aquabat. There Aku gazed out at the familiar waters. Well he had been here once and never really thought about going back. But something nagged at him to come back here. It wasn't his homeland but it was close enough to what he was used to. Then he had heard the comment the female Anubi had stated, of course he was really late at replying. He didn't really catch much of the conversation the Anubi and Pendragon were saying.

Slowly his attention went back to the female whom called her Quebeh. And the male whom called himself Fen. But he never bothered to introduce himself. He had no point in doing so. He never really bothered to even pay heap to anyone except when the female spoke about no sand being in the waters. He sneered lightly and shook his head. Land lovers..

11. Who:Tai
Wearing:A halter top (to allow freedom of wings), tight jeans, and a cresent moon necklace.

Tai looked around at the strange gathering of dragons in the tunnel. She saw an Anubi, Pendragon, and an Aquabat. The Lukuo decided she'd introduce herself. "This place sure is great, isn't it?" she said. A mew came from out of nowhere. Suddenly, a little winged cat appeared from underneath Tai's black hair streaked with dark red and made a perch of her shoulder, looking out among the crowd.

Fiddling with a pack of matches, one at a time lighting them, bending the fire slightly each time making odd shapes easily weaving them with color. Sitting on a bench adjacent and a few feet to the right, just eaves dropping at the moment. Snickering slightly at the mention of no sand, still paying more attention to the flames.

His most recent match he put a lot of care into. The match engulfed in a flame, looking to be a violet flower, petals falling to the ground and poofing into tiny clouds of smoke. He lifted the flower and as it slowly fell he twiddled his fingers through it almost unbeknownst to even the existance of the group next to him. With that last match he was out, he sighed and leaned back in his seat just to listen in for a bit longer.
