Timestamp Tessera 38, 81380 Character: Shiden udun Clothes: Black swimsuit The waves crashed on shore as the sun shone down on the beach, two pendragons laying on it. Shiden felt nykjek nuzzle up against him as he held her. She was still asleep, using him as a pillow. It was rare that he was able to spend moments like this with her without something interrupting them. They hadn't been able to go to the beach for months, with him always being busy. He had finally gotten so fed up that he had left his subordinates in charge for the weekend.
Character:Nykjek Clothes:dark red bikini top and bottoms Nykjek was glad that she finally got to spend some time with Shiden. He was the one dragon she truly felt comfortable with. She woke up to the crashing of waves and the screeching of birds overhead and looked up. Big mistake. The sun was bright and shone right in her eyes. Blinking the sleepyness away, she moved her head from the comfort of his arms, looked at him, and smiled. "I guess I dozed off." she laughed. She got up and stretched, her gray fur gleaming silver in the bright sunlight, emerald eyes shining with happiness. She fixed her nappy black and gold hair and looked at Shiden, still lying in the sand and sat next to him, now almost fully awake.
Yeah, for about two hours He said, giving her a peck on the cheek and smiling. So, now that you are awake, care to go swimming again? He asked, his black orbs looking over her body.
"Two hours! Wow, sorry." She laughed a little and stood up, reaching her paws out to his. "Sure, lets go swimming again."
Shiden smiled and shapeshifted away his wings, they would only get in the way while swimming. He waded into the water, squatting down and fully immersing himself in it. A few small fish swam around him and then away, afraid of this larger invader. His head popped back up from underwater, water dripping off his hair. Water's fine, sorcress He said, smirking at her and waiting.
Nykjek slid into the water right after Shiden. "Yes, the water is fine indeed." She smirked and then splashed water all over him, laughing. She then went underwater and snuck up behind him. "Boo." She laughed and started swimming on her back.
Shiden felt her swim underneath him and smirked when she tried to scare him. Nice try sorceress, but not good enough He said, swimming over to her and pushing her stomach down.
She knew she wouldn't have been able to scare him, but, it was worth a try. She sputtered up a little water as she felt a bit of weight on her, pushing her down a little, but not to much. She dove down a little deeper, looking back to see if he was following. She was going to explore.
Shiden swam down after her, deciding to follow her lead for a while. After all, it was her vacation too. She had needed a break from tending the eggs, so they had hired a suitable caretaker for the weekend. He quickly caught up to her and gave her a peck on the back of her head, then signaling for her to lead.
Satisfied that he was following, she did a few flips in the water, showing off her underwater agility, courtesy of the deformity that is her wings. Six, bat-like ones that are suprisingly useful in the water. Her tail rubbed against his face and she continued on downward, passing a school of brightly colored fish. That's when she saw it. The perfect spot for their vacation. An underwater cave with a room a little on further where they could breathe. She pointed to it as they neared it. Going inside, she found that the water got lower and lower until there was none at all. "So, what do you think about this?" she asked excitedly, taking in the warm, damp feeling of the cavern.
Shiden followed her diligently, rolling his eyes as she performed. Flirt and or show-off He thought as he tail rubbed against his face. The fish had scattered away from the both of them as she pointed to the cave. The instant there was air his head popped up, needing a breath. Nice, warm, just like you He said, wrapping his arms around her and hugging her from the back.
"Hehe. Hey there." She turns around and leads him to a nice little rock that's big enough for the both of them to comfortable fit. "So, what do you think about this cozy little place, hmm?" She leans in to kiss him, but here's an echoing noise from within the cavern. "What's that?" She turns around and sees this...thing...walking towards them. It's huge and brownish-green looking and looks sort of like an aligator. "Is that a Dyrkleth? Aren't those things rare? What do you think it will do?" She asked, not knowing too much herself about these ferocious creatures.
I think the best policy is to swim like our lives depened on it. He said, slowly backing away towards the water and pulling her along. One day, ONE DAY without something trying to kill me is all i ask He thought, submegering himself and backing out of the cave.
She didn't even have time to get a great look at it. Shiden had dragged her along so fast, she barely had time to take a good breath before being submerged. They swam quickly, he obviously wanted to get away from that thing. They finally reached the shore and she asked, "What? Is that thing dangerous? Would it have tried to attack us? I'm sure we could've taken it. It may be big, but, it's outnumbered, and probably out powered, too."
To answer your questions. Yes, it is dangerous, yes, it would try to make a meal out of us. Yes, we could have taken it, but then when we tried to get out we would have to move past a 10 ft long smoking carcass whose smell would get into our fur and not come out for a day or two. He said, counting off each question on his hands. Oh yes, if we had taken it, it would probably have injured one of us, thereby ruining our vacation. Do you see why I preferred to run this time? He asked, hugging her from behind again.
She leaned back into him and chuckled slightly. "Well, I wouldn't have taken us down there if I had known that there was a giant, hungry beast down there."
Uh huh, whatever you say He said, rolling his eyes and nuzzling her neck. I'm suprised you arent freezing in that. He whispered, referring to her outfit.
"Well, what else am I supposed to swim in?" She asked, slightly amused. "And, what about yourself? Your not wearing much more than I am. This has been quite an interesting vacation so far, hasn't it? Bet you never planned all that, huh?" She said, laughing.
You like asking me questions today don't you? He asked, smirking at her andcontinuing to nuzzle her neck. No, he hadn't planned on running into anything down there, but they were fine, so who cared. And yes, it has been interesting He said, turning her around so that she was facing him.
"Ah, but questions are fun." She replied as he turned her around. Now they were face to face. "Well, this has been an interesting day. So, what do you suggest we do for the rest of our vacation? We don't spend enough time together you know, you being in the military and all." She looked down and thought. She was glad they were here together today. He was the only person she felt she could turn to. She felt safe there, like she didn't need to hide behind a mask anymore. She looked up again, her face bright. "Well, what are you waiting for?" She all of a sudden took off running. She didn't know what came over her, she just felt the sudden urge to run. Nykjek looked behind to see if he was following.
