This was one of her few free days, and she was bored. She looked around at each stall but, didn't see anything that caught her attention enough to make a purchase. She sighed. She was bored and even though she wouldn't admit to her sister, she was lonely. She continued to walk and browse. She glanced around at the different thills and ardens but, didn't notice anyone who stood out in her mind. At least not at that moment.
OOC: Naleth Atire: Black t-shirt, few holes, and tight blue jeans. IC: Naleth walked proudly through the slightly crowded streets, stopping momentarily to look at a beautiful necklace she saw on the table. But one look told her it was too expensive for her salary, and she didn't really need a necklace, but it shouted at her 'Buy me! Buy me!' But she was used to it by now that she wasn't going to have it. She turned away and walked softly, closeing her eyes and useing her other senses to guide her through the crowd. It was just one of those things that she liked to do.
Bamy continued walking through the market. She stopped at one of the tables, and reached down to pick up one of the necklaces. She examined it closely and bought it. She took the box and carefully put it inside the top of one of her boots. She straightened herself, and started walking again. She turned and ran smack into a thill. She looked up in suprise. She looked at the thill, and thought to herself, wow. She tried to think of something to say but, there was only one thing that came to mind. "Sorry and hello."
Naleth opened her eyes after a soft thud hit her on the head. She looked down and saw a thill on the ground, she grunted looked down at her, then she remembered that she was trying to be normal. She reached down and held her hand out to help her hand out,"Sorry about that." The words felt awkward to say. She took a one second look at the thill's body, sizing her up, not checking her out.
Bamy accepted the thill's hand and pulled herself up. She felt an unusual nervousness, that she had never felt before. She dropped the thills hand and looked away. She then looked back up at her. She said, "It's alright, I should have watched where I was going." She paused and continued, "I am Bamy, may I ask who you are?"
Naleth was caught off gaurd at being asked the question, she was used to being punched or attacked, not politely questioned. "My... My names Naleth." She tried to be more confident but she knew she was just flailing in the ocean. She looked at the thill again, this time she felt the urge to size her up again, but she knew that very few relationships worked out with her. Her and her proffesion and all.
Bamy smiled. "Naleth, that is quite an interesting name." She looked around and then brought her attention back to the thill. "So, what brings you to the market? If I am being to nosey I apologize. If you want me to leave you alone please tell me. I would hate to bother someone as pretty as yourself." She stopped herself right after she said the words. She couldn't believe she just spoke, what she was actually thinking, and was mentally kicking herself.
Naleth looked at Bamy,"You... you think Im pretty?" She asked, on very few occasions she had been told that. "Oh um... Im just shopping." She said, searching for the words that she wanted to say and not the ones that would be wrong to say.
Bamy smiled. She blushed and said, "Yes, I think you are pretty." She tried to calm the blush down, and continued,"Oh shopping for anything in particular?" This time she stopped herself before any other words come out. She thought about the item she had bought before running into Naleth, and thought it would be perfect. She shook her head, trying to rid her mind of these thoughts. "So, uhh." She thought to herself, oh that was just brilliant.
Naleth nodded."Yes, I was just looking at some necklaces, bu... but they didn't fit right." She didn't like talking about her money woes. She was so nervouse herself she didn't notice Bamy's 'uhhs'. "You umm.. Want to uhh.. get a coffee?" She absent mindly kicked the back of her leg with her other foot.
Bamy smiled at Naleth. "Sure, coffee sounds great." She thought for a few minutes. "Do you know where a decent place to get coffee is at around here?" She said quietly. She had no idea why, she was having the thoughts that she was having them.
Kicked herself again,"This is only my second time here." She felt stupid for shareing the idea without first exploring the place much. She tried to remember any place that sold coffee. "Maybe a different idea would be better?"
Bamy thought for a minute and then said,"Oh wait, I remember walking past a coffee shop on a different visit. Still want to get a coffee?" She looked over at Naleth and smiled. She turned in the direction of the coffee shop.
Naleth nodded and followed after. Along the way they passed the stall where she looked at the necklace, noticing that it wasn't there anymore. But right now she didn't care as she followed behind Bamy. Her mind drifted and when she regained control she realised she was staring at Bamy's lower region. She tried to shake it off but she knew that she was definately pulled to Bamy, but she didn't want to put her in danger. And so far it seemed to be just a physical thing.
Bamy walked through the stalls and wondered what Naleth was thinking. She stopped at a door and looked inside the window. The place was run down and not very clean but, the aroma of delicious, caffienated coffee came from inside. She opened the door and stepped inside. She instantly felt eyes on her. She wondered why they were all of a sudden watching her. She either had never realized their reaction, or something else was causing it. She said quietly, "Here we are." She walked up to the counter and ordered, a cup of coffee with cream. She turned and waited for Naleth to order, so that she could pay for the coffee.
Naleth followed Bamy into the coffee shop. She ordered her coffee black, no sugar. It wasn't what she was used to drinking but she needed it to keep her mind off things. She pointed to a table in the corner as their drinks were brought to them. She picked them both up and nodded to Bamy, she was pretty sure the Bamy knew that she was not exactly rich by anyones standards, and nodded a thanks to her as she turned and moved to the table.
Bamy paid for the coffee, then turned and walked over to the table that Naleth had pointed out. She sat down and smiled at Naleth. She reached out and grabbed her coffee cup. She took a sip and made a face. "Gah, I think I burnt my toungue. I wasn't expecting it to be quite that hot." She then realized that she said it out loud and laughed at herself. She set her cup down, to let it cool down and leaned forward resting an elbow on the table, and asked."So Naleth, what do you do when not shopping in the market?"
Naleth fidgeted slightly in her seat, she didn't know if she could tell her everything or make up something. "I.. I work in the security industry." She tried not to smile about thinking of what she she of as a good cover. "And yourself?" She lightly blew on her coffee to keep it from burning when before she took a sip.
Bamy watched her and picked up her cup. She took a sip and this time, she didn't burn her tongue. She held her cup and smiled. She thought for a minute. "I am usually in class, or doing some odd job here and there." She would have continued talking but, any other thoughts quickly disappeared as a drunk arden walked over and sat on her. Her eyes turned to hard yellow slits, and she pushed the drunk off of her. Back off, I am sitting here, find your own place to sit. She sat back down, and took a drink of her coffee. "Sorry, that happens from time to time. I am not sure if I am just invisible or if they are trying to upset me....."
Naleth shrugged knowingly. She half trailed off, thinking of the meeting between them. Then she remember what she forgot to say before,"I think your pretty also." She smiled, knowing that would have seemed to come out of the blue. She took a few more sips of her coffee, small sips, wanting them to not have to leave to early.
