    "I tell you I don't trust her!"

Alaz spoke in her serphant like voice, the small statured female shook her head in disgust.

"All things in good time my dear Alaz, do not worry, it's simple recon work and fighting...Nothing to worry about..."

"But in the desert? I mean...We have a hard enough time in a decidious forest, but a desert there is almost no rainfall"

'We will be on the edge of the desert, there is plenty of rainfall there."

    "Still...It sounds fishy..."

"In exchange for what we're getting? A little rotten fish is fine with me..."

Kaieta leaned back on her golden chair fiddling with a golden trinket on a chain. Her yellow scales gleamed in the low light, the black of the eye of horuses and the ankhs on her apendeges gleamed in the flickering light of the flames. Her white nails were imacietly clean for once. The chains on her tail clinked as the wind blew by. She smiled a toothy dragon smile.

"All in good time my dear Alaz, all in good time..."

OOC: I hope you don't mind if I join.

    IC:
Tsuki grumbled under her breath in an agitated tone, her ears laid flat against her skull and her tail swayed slowly behind her. She swiped a paw at a nearby tree trunk and deep scratch marks were left behind. 'Su sat back on her haunches and raised her head to the sky and let out a long, sorrowful howl. She ran a leathery tongue of her maw, sharp vampiric canines gleaming in the light.</span>

    <span style='color:blue'>"I'll find someone around her soon."</span>

<span style='color:FFFF99'>She perked an ear up when she heard something close and crouched low to the ground out of pure instinct but shook herself to stand and kept her ears perked up. She head in the direction that she had heard the voice, thankfull of her inhanced sense for once as her dull grey-blue eyes scanned over the scenery around her for the hidden 'dragon or 'dragons of the voice she heard.</span></span>

  3. Alaz whipped around

    "Who goes there?!"

Kaieta rolled her eyes and flicked a nut at Alaz's head, which smacked her right under the ear. Alaz rubbed the spot as the skin under her scales became tender.

"Who cares? Its not like they're going to be much of a threat!"

"Yeah well...I don't like people sneaking up on me!"

"I think your just afraid since your physically weak and couldn't get a spell out if you were attacked."

    "Well there's that too..."

"Which is why your an underling...Don't question me..."

Alaz muttered something under her breath that was followed by a glare from Kaieta. It was ovioius that even with their partner-like relationship, there were some rough edges...

  4. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki's crouched low to the ground as she caught the scent of two 'dragons and smirked as she heard their voices once more. One blue-grey eye peeked through a bush some fifty feet away and she instantly noted that they were Takula. Her tail swayed, her anticipation getting the best of her as she slowly crept towards their area, her eyes on the smaller three foot tall one as her tongue ran over her maw for the second time. 'Su's skin rippled in pure anticipation when sudenlly her stomach growled loudly in protest of the lack of food and she cursed herself mentally as she gritted her teeth and bared them, ready for an attack from the two Takulas.</span></span>

  5. "Okay I hear it now too..."

Said Kaieta as she got up and looked around...seeing a shimmer from the bushes she nodded to the shorter Alaz to investigate. Alaz did the approriate thing: She fried the bush with a quick fireball...Exposing the intruder.

"Well, well what do we have here..."

    Muttered Kaieta...

"Come on out...I won't hurt you unless you prove to be worth of such a thing..."

  6. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki stood up completely as the bush reduced to mere cenders and she eyed the two Takula. She dared not to move from her position, she knew of the dangers of the gang infested woods. You got a lot of weaklings but then and again you would get some that would knock you dead in a second. 'Su's wings opened just slightly as she lowered her head, some of her hair covering over her right eye letting her left eye stare at them only.

She crept forward and cocked her head to the side.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"What are you doing out here?"</span> <span style='color:FFFF99'>She took a few more steps forward, but stayed there. She let the edges of her lips come up just barely, showing the tips of her fangs as she almost dared the two Takula's to come at her again.</span></span>

  7. Kaieta laughed feriously

"What am I doing out here? Good God my girl! What are you? This is my Territory! One should ask you, a mere pendragon, what are you doing in the Gate Guardians territory?"

Kaieta smiled and spread her own wings...mainly to stretch them out, but also it was a nice effect. She flicked a dread-lock out of her face and a flicker in her eyes told that she was not a Takula to be messed with.

Alaz smiled a devious smile. She always enjoyed a good roast...her mind was devious and decetful, but loyal to Kaieta as always, she would follow her to her word, never above it never below it. If Kaieta ordered anything...it would be done...

  8. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki tensed as the laugh seemed to erupt from the bipedal Takula. She knew that it would not be wise to deal with the female on her own ground while she, herself was starving. She kept a wary eye on the smaller one though, she wasn't going to take her gaze off of that one just because she was small, not at all.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Me? Why I'm looking for food...I live in these jungles. I was born and raised here under my parent's protection...but I don't need them anymore and haven't for some time. And don't under estimate me. I am more powerful than I look."</span>

<span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki's tail twitched in agitation and her lips quivered, barely covering her canines, she was careful to not show them her teeth. Not only to keep them from attacking her, but also to hide herself also.</span></span>

  9. "...Thats the same thing that male from the North said...What did we do to him Alaz?"

Alaz thought for a minute...She was trying to remember which dragon she was talking about.

"Oh, Yeah! Now I remember! I think we chopped off his limbs and then left him for the desert Cucus! You mean that white one with the black paws right?"

Kaieta nodded. Alaz smiled, she had enjoyed that order profusly. Kaieta leaned forward to get on eye level with Tsuki

"No what were you saying? After all, I'm more then your average Takula..."

She smiled a wide toothy grin. A quick flicker of sun reflected off her many adornments, everything from her tail chain, to the two beads in her dreaded hair. All of it looked Anubian in origin, and this being Kaieta, it probably was.

  10. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki's ears laid flat against her skull now and she barred her fangs at the two Takula's out of sheer instinct. She felt threatened and was not liking the situation she was getting in. She backed up just a bit and spread her legs apart just a bit, ready to dart away if need be. Her fangs were bared completely now, the vampiric canines gleaming in the moonlight.</span></span>

  11. Kaieta laughed...Vampires did not scare her, except for maybe Hathor, but she was a different story.

"Still not quite that high on the evolutionary chain are we? A Vampire that backs away from a fight...Thats a new one on me."

Kaieta crossed her arms and sat back down on her throne. Alaz backed up also, Kaieta was in no mood to be playing today, she was expecting a Visit from a half Yki Vampire at any moment to hear more about Hathor's deal. Kaieta tapped her claws on the arm of the throne

"Yet how did you escape my knowledge all these years? For that matter your family...I have one of the largest Takula clans in all the world...A petty little thing such as yourself would have been food along time ago..."

Kaieta was very much perplexed by this perdiciment...Had her clan been weaker then she thought? No, just stupider she thought still plotting what to do with this creature before her...

  12. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:blue'>"Years? I haven't been a vampire that long miss. Besides I don't like to talk to my family much. They are no good 'dragons who deserve the worst of punishments."</span> <span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki decided then to turn the table, or at least make the situation better for her. She had dealt with clans before, and she had gotten out of most predicaments unscathed.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Look...I don't want to be here as much as you don't want me to alright. So...if you let me go without following me, I wont tell anyone I saw you two here. How about that, Mrs.... What is your name by the way?"</span> <span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki cursed herself as soon as those words came out of her mouth. She was stupid for asking such a curious question to a Takula. She kept her position though, not moving an inche. Waiting for the moment when either one might strike at her, for she was sure expecting it. Though not hoping for it.</span></span>

  13. Kaieta was much amused

"Everyone knows I'm here! As they should! I am Kaieta Ultima Queen of the Gate Guardians, one of the world's most feared Takula Warriors. This is Alaz my trusty right hand. I probably should kill you, but you amuse me so I shall not at this moment."

Alaz rolled her eyes, Kaieta was always messing with her prey. She never understood it...Was her Ego really that big? In many peoples opinion it was...

  14. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki couldn't believe this, she amused the Takula. She held back the low growl that threatened to erupt in her throat and she tucked her wings softly agianst her side and gengerly sat down. Her tail wrapped around her and she starred at the two before her.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Well...I'm glad that you aren't going to kill me, though I hope you don't ever kill me. It would be sad on my part...though I doubt you would care much. But just to keep my manners. Since you have stated your names, I shall state mine. I am Tsuki. May I ask why you wish to kill me though?"</span></span>

  15. <span style='color:red'>Because she's a damn Takula and overly possessive of her territory</span>

A silky voice said from the shadows. The ebony vixen in her black and red Kimono showed herself from the shadows, her Anubi like ears were alert.

<span style='color:blue'>Ah, welcome Kashiko! Do you bring tidings from your master?</span>

Said Kaieta to the new arrival, Kashiko growled baring her Vampiric teeth

<span style='color:red'>How many times do I have to tell you she's not my master, and yes I do, she sends that all arangements have been made, and your warriors have been briefed and given their first payment</span>

Alaz smiled, their plan was working. Kaieta nodded, and then took a risk

<span style='color:blue'>If your lucky...you'll end up having as many years as this hag.</span>

Kashiko shot a glare, she hated this intolerable excuse for a female, always craking jokes about her, just because she was a half breed. And the fact that she had orders not to kill her...yet...

  16. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:FFFF99'>Tsuki's ears flicked back as she heard the soft voice, her head turning quickly to see the Anubi step out from the shadows and smirked softly. Though as soon as the smirk crossed her maw her eyes widened as she saw the fangs of the Anubi.</span> <span style='color:blue'>Another vampire....I need to be even more careful now.</span> <span style='color:FFFF99'>Her eyes searched over the scenery around her quickly and she began to look for a quick exit. She needed to find one, at least if she didn't want the Takula to kill her. Her ears flicked forward again as she heard the last comment from Kaieta, noticing the reaction from the vampiric Anubi beside her.</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"I think I will just leave now."</span> <span style='color:FFFF99'>She hoped to just slip away while the Takula was distracted, hoping that she would just say an 'okay' or something of the nature with out really noticing. Slowly she stood up completely, ruffling her wings softly.</span></span>

  17. Kashiko quickly stopped her.

    <span style='color:red'>"Not so fast...You look familuar...Who's your sire?"</span>

She was refering to who bit her...Kashiko was very familuar with many of the more common bloodlines in the world...She knew most of their founders as well. She was a very old vampire, a hated one two, in many places, her fangs are priceless.

<span style='color:blue'>"What is with you and your obsession with bloodlines? Its like some sort of wierd Vampire fetish..."</span>

Kaieta said picking at a grimy spot on her chair.

<span style='color:red'>"Same reason you obesses over power you overweight excuse for a Takula"</span>
    <span style='color:blue'>
    "I am not fat! I resent that!"</span>
    <span style='color:red'>
    "No, you resemble that."</span>

Kashiko snidly remarked, Kaieta one hated comment: being called fat.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
