Councilor of Entertainment, Nyri, smuggled a weapon on board the sea faring cruise vessel. How he managed to get it past security is still unknown. On the evening of the 47th of Dyo, he pulled his weapon on several civilians while in the company of one Koani Grader. It is understood from eye witnesses that a total of four shots were fired off before the catastrophe came to an end. Nyri, before he could turn his gun on anyone else, was taken out by a fatal shot delivered by one of the Grader's personal entourage. While Nyri's motives were somewhat unclear, it is understood that he eventually intended to target Koani Grader. One of the civilians that Nyri initially targeted was Cayson Lapices, now known to be Koani's own son. This fact was confirmed by several listeners who heard the Grader speak to the arden in worried tones immediately following the incident. All injured parties were then air lifted to the nearest medical facility, some in critical, and some in stable conditions. The cruise then was ended prematurely and all guests were escorted to main land. The future of the Council of Thirteen seems uncertain at the moment, but during a brief public interview, Koani spoke words of assurance, promising that this would not be the end of the Council.
