During the belated-sunset, the mountain's proved heat and springs can be mixed with the upcoming cool air and a draw of inner moisture cause a thick cloud to form around her ankles. The henna-dyed dragon looked down at her feet masked by the haze and laughs, comfortable with the cool wetness that comes from having a cloud on one's feet. Rilith looked from behind the shielding of rock, cloaking with a dark red mantle, sitting like a weary warrior to rest. Until the sun set, she was thinking about how she was able to control her power now...as a vampire, when she could not tap in it before without losing control of herself. In these mountains, she was told about a certain group that once weld this strange power. . .although it did sound like a peddler's tale. Rilith left on her way once it was dark enough, but realize she didn't have to get far. Apparently, her campsite was part of the door. No doubt she was rushing to evade the sunrise to realize it. She walk to hidden entrance, feeling the impressions of rock. This may be differcult to open... , until she felt a rock slide out of row and the entrance open.. She sighed, walking inside a chamber. At least this one wasn't as empty as the last fifteen she checked, but its didn't seem a success. It was a room...with books...to Fesjym knows what for. She took a isolated book and open to a random page, hoping to find something that would give her an answer.
An ashen colored creature moved about the side of the sleeping giant as well, feeling the ruff rock beneath his hands and feet. Grows lightly as he continues on moving up the side of the rockface then comes the sudden feeling of heat as the god forshaken sun beated down upon his back. Turns on the rockface towards the sunlight and holds his hand out cursing it aloud as he released a sudden energy blast off into the skies causing a cloud blanket to form over it. Shakes his head then spins back around on the rock, spreading forth his skeleton wings then scales the giant with ease. Comes to a stop upon a flat then flips up onto it landing on his back. Sighs softly then closes his eyes feeling the faintness beating of his Rilith's heart. Shakes his head once more then sits up opening his eyes. Looks up above him with a smirk on his face. "Soon my Rilith...soon." He spoke as he rose to his feet once more then begins bouncing along the rocky giant again.
A deep growl slipped though her throat as she put the eighth book away. Useless, yet they had stories of shadow shifting. None of them seem to have a lead to how this power was obatained as where is orginated. Maybe this is a false lead to hide the real truth or another dead end, she putted the book as she looked outside watching the lighting dim a bit. Must be rain gathering..it's not uncommon She thought, then notice that the book was pushed further than the wall allowed...An bookcase turned when this happened. "Hmm..." She walked in the opening and paused as she swore she felt something... or someone. It can be anything or nothing still it was so faint. She continue down the steep slope into a hallway with unlit torch. She glared at them until the flames shot to them and lit the way. If I haven't learned anything... Smiling, Rilith contined on her way into the long hall into a undetermined space, yet she felt something very depthen aura the longer she walked. Perphap, a clue can be found in the burren place. .
Sieben comes to the opening the he sensed Rilith from then enters into it. Looks about slowly, waving his hand as he does clearing away the light dust blanket in there. Licks his lips slightly then looks to the opening of the bookcase. Glares upon it slightly then looks into it noticing a dim light inside. Chuckles a bit then goes into the hidden pastage heading down into the mountain. Looks about as he goes, slipping his hands into his pant pockets looking ahead.
The wave on energy around her tensed as the narrow passage ended with a room. It appeared empty with only one wall that curve in a circle. She suddenly began to think that she came all these way for nothing until she observed the center. Taking a torch in hand, she waved at the core of the room and noticed a shadow...of where a box could be. Rilith put her hand out into the space, feeling for some solid...invisible and solid. A box appeared as she lifted the unseen lid by a crack, revealing a high decorated box. She didn't get to see what was inside as she stood up, sensing the presense of another though the hard aura from the chest. Drawing a simple dirk, she looked at the torch and the shadows created as they grew and solify into spikes aiming at the entrance.
Sieben continues down into the darkening hall as he goes. Licks his lips slowly and shakes his head a bit not feeling the slight bit worried about if there was anything do there to harm him. Comes to the area where everything seems to become tighter as he does. Glares slightly then draws his hands from his pants pockets stretching his arms out releasing a heavy energy in the area. Consumes it then flexes his wings out walking further into the shadows. Comes into the place where the invisiable box is located and comes to a stop looking about a hie does. Cool eyes looking about, as if trying to find something. Closes them slowly and leans his head back, whispering out to his love, to Rilith.
Rilith pulled up a invisible trick with her cloak as the spikes lenghten, posed to strike at the first thing that walked into the room. They came out javelin towards the man that walked in. As calm as she was about her aim, she did lose for focus upon hearing her name in her mind. Recognizing it very quick, she swayed her pointed arm away from him, causing the shadow spindels to slit around Sieben and turn around towards her as they became one with her shadow again. The henna dragon looked at her stalker agitatedly as she offcast her magical shield, almost irratied to see him here, although she would rather have him following her than a total stranger. She took a deep breath as she returned the knife inside her cloak, "You can get killed surpising people like that..."
Sieben feels the sudden gust of wind against his fur then shakes his head slowly as he notices the form of another come forth from the cover of shadows. Looks up at Rilith as he does and licks his lips lightly vanishing then reappearing, standing behind her. Reaches his arms out and places them about her waist gently then leans his head up along side hers. "You run off without telling me of where you are going. And you expect me not to follow?" Shakes his head a bit and nudges her genty with his nose as he stands there holding her. Sighs softly then draws back his arms from her waist then takes a step back. "I was worried about you. After all you and I share a bond unlike any other out there." He spoke looking upon her.
Sometimes it was the idea of him being bonded to her that scared her about his sake. If there was one thing she didn't want to happen was for him to fine the nightwares that plaqued her mind even before her second life and these powers that spawned from it. "I didn't want to involved you in this test of my sanity...it may have harm you and I didn't want that." She answered calmly as she pulled the box towards them with her shadow. I wanted...answers. She said as she opened the box again complely and reached her hand, taking out a pair of sliver bangles with crushed onyx bands.Is was where all that energy from coming from...now that I thought of it, I have been having trouble steering my powers since I got here. Her head quirked alertfully as the ground below them just collapsed.
Sieben eyes widen open as it happens then reaches his hand out taking hold of Rilith's arm. Extends his other forth and digs his claws into a section of rock within the room. Winces in pain as he pulls up on Rilith's arm, trying to pull her up to where she get about his neck with her arms. But just as he was drawing her up his claws give way and causes them to fall into the deep dark hallows of the mountain. Sieben looks over at Rilith as they fall then takes her into his arms onces more. Closes his eyes tightly as they fall then spreads forth his skeleton wings, dragging their bony tips along the pit's walls. Trying to stop them from hitting rock bottom.
Rilith clutched the bracelet in her hand, resisting the convinence of putting them on. No telling what would happened with her did. Her irregular wings were incapable of clutching rock just as well as flying. In such a dire situation, she wondered why she couldn't just make shadow to soften their landing. Her eyes sparked red just as Sieben's tip lost their grip on the wall, they curved the wall for a reason, go figure. A black mass spawned from the inner lining for her cloak engulf in them in its largely growing mass, that cushioned them in their hit with the bottom. The shadow retreated from them, letting them lay on the suface of a icy blue sand that was too fined-grained to be called such, but the mass from stable enough to not sinked them in. I never recalled my powers doing that before... Looking at this empty place with crystals simlar to the sand's color. There was light somewhere around here from the way they glowed and bouced light.
Sieben lifted his eyes up slowly looking about where he was lying. Glares slightly upon the blue dust that he was lying upon then lifts up shaking his head. Licks his lips lightly and looks to his wings that was folded back against his shoulders, noticing that they was busted and broke all over. Sighs softly and rubs the back of his head as he rises up to his feet. Looks over at Rilith then moves to her kneeling down along side her. Reaches his hand out and touches it to the side of her face gently looking to her eyes. "Are you okay, love? Is there anything that hurts?" He asked as his eyes turned away from hers then wander about the crystal filled chamber then back to her.
She woked groaning pulling herself to her knees, rubbing her head and dusting her hair off. The bracelets laid at her side until she sweeps them up and put them in her side pack before Sieben approached her. "Nothing's broken, I guess..." She answered, glaring at his broken wings. Her body slithered across the glass sands behind him and place a hand on one of the fractures feeling the short points of him. Taking a thin pick from her cloak, she pricked her backhand hard, causing a wound to bleed about the size of a fang. She was using the pick as a writing quill writing a symbol on her hand with the blood. Placing her hand on his back between the wing bud. "Hmm..I have no idea if this will hurt but.." Pushing her energy into the symbol and his wing, a ball lighting form around the process cracking outside in flaring outward as his wing were being repaired. It was faded as she moved away and sat there kneeling and with relieved look, "I don't know if that would work. Is everything working on that part?" Saying as she look outward into this cave as it seem almost wall-less. That was some booby trap she pondered and wondered what kind of area they were trying to hide with that dead trap. Looking at the stagmites, that were crystal themselves, she formed a shadow raven and sent it away to return if there were anything of interest like a building, temple or danger.
Winces a bit as she fixed his wings with the energy. Looks over his shoulder to his wings once more then flexes them outward, causing popping and other odd noises to occur from them. Nods to her about if they was working then shakes his head standing back up onto his feet. turns his eyes up above himself looking to the dim light that was very distant from where he was standing at the bottom of the fall. Sighs slightly then turns his eyes back to Rilith walking over to her. Kneels down infront of her once more taking up the hand that she pricked with her pick then licks the blood from it gently. "Well, it appears that there is no way of going back the way we came. I mean there isn't enough room or wind to get up off the ground in here." He spoke finishing with her hand, giving it a gentle kiss, causing the wound to seal. Stands back up onto his feet slowly then folds his wings back against his shoulders walking over towards on of the low baring crystals, touching his hand to it. Such power...so much darkness locked away in this crystal. He thought as he looked out at the others off in the fading distances.
"and I'm too skeptial about using my power here to lift us out of here...I'm having problem controling my power as it is." Rilith included, standing. Her eyes gazed at the diatance which the bird took flight in. Upon hearing Sieben observation, she took at one of the bangles and notice a inscription: 'Pjaun sug vjyn medhsnujat. ' A tense confusion spread in her eyes as her Ramathian knowledge was little. She only picked up two or three words as she looked back to where Sieben was standing, somewhat worried. "This surrounding power is pushing at me like a battering ram toward door. I have a feeling that this terra incognita was created to unlock something tattoo...I doubt that our fall will be last of this place's opposition." A caw turned her attention to the bird hearing her direction. Rilith reached her wrist to allow the bird perched and when it did, broke apart into a black mass and flowing back into her shadow. It caused her to close her eyes and absorb what the bird saw, finding a image that caught her attention. "There's a building ahead...a temple..or a lab...almost both. Can't say for sure. .the image is fuzzy."
Sieben quirked a brow then looked off into the distances where the bird returned from then begins on his way in that direction. Reaches his hand out infront of himself and summons up an energy ball holding it out as light as he leads on through the shadows. Licks his lips lightly and glares as he continues on walking. Looks over his shoulder to Rilith then back ahead noticing light that was getting brighter by the second. "Well, there is something down here. Something very anicent." He spoke as a sudden wave of energy crashes against his form then flows over like water. Stumbles back a bit as it strikes him then shakes his head slowly continuing on. ooc: Going to introduce a character shortly, a new one!
Dark energy was everywhere. Rilith had a hard time keeping it at bay as some of it seek opening for it to enter. Her body flinched as one attempt almost suceeded, followed by the aftereffect as it reteated, a burning on her skin with painful chill underneath at the same time. Her shadow power were flared involunterary as she walked with Sieben as if it was excited. "Whatever it is, it has a funny way of inviting us over for tea." She replied, without the humorous tone needed to make that sound comforting. She took that bracelet out to see if she could tranlate more while they walked.
Sieben turns hiseyes down upon the bracelet then back to Rilith as she reads over it. Smirks lightly then looks back ahead as he continues on walking. Reaches his arm up and places it about Rilith's waist as he comes to the clearing seeing the massive structure that set before him. Comes to a stop then glares upon looking to every section going up. "It seems that this place is as old as I am...but why haven't I heard of it then." He spoke as he looked to it noticing the temple was built right into the wall of the cave.
Rilith nodded looking at the articture of this place. It looked as if it was build by hand or paw, yet there were some part of it from seem impossible for pawwork or machina. Magical energy created the dark blue flames on the torch surronding the outer walls. Something was suddenly whisptered to me. At first, she looked at Sieben thinking it was him but the voice sound a bit different. Answer may lay within 'those that learned about this place either stay here to keep their lives or forfiet by trying to leave. She hasn't done it in a while' Rilith blinked, looked at the temple once more, then at Sieben timorously.....It was 'whisptered' to me.
Sieben looks over at her quirking a brow then glares back upon the building. Shakes his head and begins walking toward the steps that lead up to the enterances at the top of the temple. "Well, whatever blessed you with those words of wisdom...seems to want to keep us away." He spoke as he started on the steps going up. Looks down at the steps as he goes up then back to Rilith as he goes.
