<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td> 13 Tessera (Autumn), 81379</td></tr></table> The perfect place to meet, was sometimes were everyone could see you. Kashiko Katsu waited patiently outside an old abandoned bar for her new aprrentice. Hathor had suggest her get one, so she picked up a new thrill, Novox was his name she did belive. He had great potentail just needed some, guidance. His affilation with Machina was not that big of a deal to her, she was only half anubi afterall. He was a little old to start from scratch, but luckily he knew alot already. She leaned back against a wall, the clinking of her sword hitting the wall could be heard. Her's was the legendary Hikari no Yami, the last of Angelic-Demonic Kantanas. The sword of her long gone angel lover. A little white kitten sat by her feet mewing as if it was complaining. <span style='color:red'>If you want me to actually listen to you, you should take a form in which I could actually understand you!</span> Kashiko said digusted at the cat, it morphed into a blue and dark blue striped Cucu. <span style='color:blue'>Why the hell are you doing this? We could be out slaughtering or sumthin!</span> <span style='color:red'>A, I don't slaugher, B, he's quieter then you, C, Hathor said so, so piss off if you don't want in.</span> The Cucu mumbled and went into quad form and curled up still mumbling, Kashiko rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. That cat was the most annoying thing to her.
Abandoned. Compared to the Electric city, this whole place is pretty much-- He stood in an open area that left another part of the black market, one that sold a variety of low price, yet durable clothing and travel wares, which were probably stolen, from another shop not too far away. His white ears flickered slightly amongst the graying platinum flanks of hair that laid crossing his fur, covering almost half of his face and scattered over his plain white raincoat. He was a common Pendragon, the young fox Celuvix Novox, lost yet again in lands where most people simply call home. In his hand the rigid handle of a black umbrella twisted from left to right, his hand molded paws gripping against the handle anxiously as he tried to figure out where to go. After a few seconds of contemplation, the scenery began to match where he was told to go. Abandoned cat...abandoned car? Abandoned whore house...boat...ba...bridge? Celuvix crossed his gaze from left to right, sighing slightly through his half open maw and blowing a few strands of hair away in a frustrated huff. His right arm rested on the pure white extended hilf of his ice fang, the sheath lifting his raincoat just enough for a bushy, well groomed white tail to perk from underneath. In the midst of staring blankly throughout the black market, the appearance of a lesser-than-common traveler caught his gaze. Bar! Bar! That was it! While he approached the abandoned bar, relieved at his discovery, the long sheathed blade of his Ice Fang didn't quite agree with the plans. Almost like a slapstick trip, the sheath caught into a upturned foundation on the streets just in front of the Dragon's feet. "Man, If'n I knew it was a waterinÂ’ hole I would gotten hosed at least an ho--HOMAJEEZ!" In mid thought, thinking more about feeding his recently picked up alcohol addiction rather than getting to business, Celuvix almost fell over with his face straight into the ground. He caught himself just quick enough with both gloved "hands" on the ground, and most of his hair fluffing effortlessly over his face. "Aaaugh... No, no. I'm not broken." He got up slowly, wincing while pushing himself up with a hand on his knee. In the midst of his misfortune, a carefully positioned young thief had already crossed his path. He felt a small tug, barely lifting from inside his raincoat as the lower part of his satchel untied from his belt. It was almost too obvious of a theft attempt, Celuvix thought as he rolled his eyes. Without as much of a warning, her grasped the small thief by the back of it's clothing. "Now look. Two choices. Give me back my bag, or I build a beehive in your stomach. Oh, it won't be just any beehive. These bees will be laser bees, that make honeycombs made of acid and exploding miniature waffles that, when they touch the insides of your skin, will EAT YOU FROM THE INSIDE OUT! If that isn't bad enough, the bees are training to sting your non-vital organs in places that are just uncomfortable enough to make your last five hours of living a trip though hell." Celuvix turned the small thief, a younger Pendragon than he who had obvious gotten a good day's of pick pocketing, and grasped him by the collar of his shirt. "After the bees get done stinging you and making you piss waffles, I'll get this bag of sunflower seeds. Salted, of course. Now, at this point you have two more choices. Either you eat the sunflower seeds while I contact my friend to have the bees removed from your body, or I can FORCE you to eat the sunflower seeds, forcing you to choke on the sharp shells, bleed from the gums, and have a stinging sensation to your death as the bees continue to further their hive. If you choose to eat the sunflower seeds, you will crap painful spikes that will rip through your innards like a mace on a bunny rabid. This week's 5-day forecast, Bleeding Ass with a chance of rain." He leaned closer to the small, shaking Pendragon, glaring with his endless silver eyes and menacing...cute white ears. "...Can I have my bag back? He muttered just loud enough for the thief to hear. Just a few seconds after his change filled satchel hit the ground, the thief's feet scrambled down afterward, running off into the distance. This guy? Fight? Naaaah...
Kashiko sighed, as he was right in front of her now. He fit the description...She oviously had some work to do. <span style='color:red'>Okay, A. When someone pickpockets you, take ALL their money, not just what they stole. B. There are better places to keep your money.</span> She said this all rather sarcastically pulling a satchel out from down basically her boobs, held it out then stuck it back down. <span style='color:red'>For you I'd suggest in your underwear if money matters to you that much. I'm guessing, as you do fit the description, that you are my new apprentice. I am Kashiko Katsu also known as Black Lotus or the Katsu Child. When your with me you will not need money, Enough people know my name to fear or revear it. You will learn the fine arts of war and fighting, it is a long and difficult road, you will make friends and enemies along the way. It is not your God given right to be here, it is a privildge, you are the only dragon to get to learn the ways of both the Yki and some of the Anubi. Oh and I can and will, if nessicary, beat the living shit out of you.</span> Being shorter then him, she drove this point home rather hard. Win raised an eyebrow at this new character as she strolled up to Kashiko and sat down like a princess. <span style='color:blue'>You have alot of work to do...</span> <span style='color:red'>Yeah I know now git! Before I fry your tail again!</span> Win stuck her tounge out, changed to a white kitten and ran away. <span style='color:red'>That is Win, she will be your sparring partner a good portion of the time, sometimes you may get lucky and I can pull Nekhalla for some, but you will have Win most of the time.</span>
Celuvix could only stare. For quite a while, to say the least. His white ears flickered and twitched from left to right, a look of confusion and cats covered in syrup crossing his face. First at the Yki that was badgering him, then at her satchel. Oh, that was a nice satchel. A nice satchel indeed, firm, round and filled out, like soft melon bread still warm and steamy, the perky roundness of it. Celuvix wanted to touch KashikoÂ’s satchel, to grasp it and caress the satchel with his palm and feel itÂ’s money-holding warmth. Yes. Satchel. "...What?" After Kashiko put the satchel away, he stared at the peculiar little creature that--in his opinion--shouldn't be able to talk. No. It shouldn't talk at all. His perky ears pinned back slightly as a face of disbelief and the need for a mommy made the young Pendragon's eyes well a bit. As if it wasn't enough for his poor mind to battle with, the thing changed into a kitten. A KITTEN! Celuvix knew about kittens, their fluffiness and tactical cute operation within the Black Ops that caused and entire western village of poachers disappear over night. Treacherous creatures, yet so adorable. He would not be done in so easily. "... ...What? Ah...mmm. I don't really..." His boots tapped on the ground habitually as Celuvix glanced off to the side, swishing his white tail breezing to and from, flickering the blue flame in a sort of irritated manner. While fumbling with his words, CeluvixÂ’s fingers began pawing at each other in a sort of clumsy, nervous way while he stared fearfully at the ground. "I don't wear...those." The penpup muttered, sighing in the looming shadow that was his shame. Though, it wasn't to say he was relieved. Appointments were something that Celuvix kept near and dear to his heart, and punctuality his greatest virtue. At least she found him without any hassle. Over his shameful mention of all armor but the needed armor, Celuvix laid the still bound umbrella over his hair-covered raincoat's shoulder. "I-I'm Celuvix Novox of the Novox clan, youngest and brightest!" His speech was a bit...peculiar. Though, for a boy whose appearance was more or less a white fox with wings and a raincoat, it would fit. Not entirely womanly, but a soft and low spoken young man's voice that didn't find speaking to others all that appealing. While conversation wasn't his forte, he did have his moments, just as he showed a few moments ago. Taking another deep breath, the young Pendragon bowed as low as he could with the umbrella crossing his waist, the light strands of platinum hair falling over his perky ears and his raincoat flicking just enough over his tail. "Please look over me in my studies!" A lot of work.
<span style='color:red'>Oviously the Novox clan has been known for over judging themselves...Anyway lets get started. First things first, any weapons you have now are to be handed over to me, we're starting from square one. You have to learn to fight without a weapon, before you can fight with one. You will learn today basic rules of a warrior...</span> She temporarily stopped her lecture to turn around and pin a whould be theif trying to steal her blade, against a wall. <span style='color:red'>Your new around here arn't cha chum? Don't mess with me, or my kind. I catch you around here again...You'll find yourself dead...With my mark on you...Don't mess with the Katsu Child.</span> She then kicked him in the back and a loud crack could be heard. He crawled off and she turned back to Celuvix. <span style='color:red'>Rule number one of keeping theifs away: Make them afraid, news gets around fast, if you really are as tough as you make yourself out to be, most theifs will stay away. Oh yeah, before I forget...</span> She held her hand out as a motion for him to hand over the weapons. She then wistled and the white kitten came back and changed back into a blue Cucu <span style='color:blue'>Yeah what do ya want?</span> <span style='color:red'>You know the drill, look over his weapons, fix as needed, and improve as needed, you know my standards.</span> The Win mumbled, she was used to this...She was one of the best smiths around, she made some of the best cursed and blessed blades around. She waited for the weapons patiently so she may head back to Hathor's Temple and begin work.
His head nodded intently, the occasional "Mmm, mmhmm!" slipping out as he gave his fullest attention to his newest master. She was, from what Celuvix gathering, beginning already. Fighting without a weapon would be...different, to say the least. The young one wasn't completely untrained, but explosive attacks with his machina enhancements and his critical striking Ice Fang were what kept him going. Then again, that's why he decided to seek out a new mentor. "Master Kashiko Katsu, I dunno how to make thieves afraid. I try sometimes, and sometimes it works. Other times they...pet me. Well, I don't mind petting. It's kinda nice, actually, but confoundit I don't wanna be petted when I'm out tryin' ta get a job done." Quick, frantic and quaint, the white ears perked again as he stared at her hand. While he reached for the bindings that held the Ice Fang to his belt, the sight of Win changing into the same blue Cucu as before caused Celuvix to step back a bit. Seven years. Seven years Celuvix had been stuck up in the mountains and covering only the most discreet public roads, only contacting his brother and a few merchants that had come by his path. In all his times away from society, in the insane lands of torment that was the Machina delved deep underground, Celuvix had NEVER seen one of those. He did know that staring was rude, and caught himself just in time. "Ah. Mmm, yes. Just a moment master Kashiko." From underneath his raincoat, Celuvix unbuckled the sheath of the Ice Fang. It was a blade longer that first guessed from underneath his raincoat, cased within a pure, unbeaten sheath of black carbon. Patches of condensation formed where his hands met the surface of the sheath, the cold inside of the blade creeping out as an escaping ice soul that seemed to reach out to the Fronima spent free throughout the world. What more proper a place for it to be possessed than within the hands of Ivory Celuvix? He placed the blade in Kashiko's hand, mostly with the two-foot hilt at her disposal. "She doesn't get dull, but I've rattled the blade away from the settings after this...encounter I had in the Nyonge mountains a few weeks back. Haven't been able to kick it back in place." The blade wasn't all to go, but his raincoat as well. Celuvix carefully unbuttoned the top of his raincoat with one of his hands wrestling at the clasp around his neck. It slid carelessly down his shoulders, leaving behind what he was covering up while trespassing through the black market. A rather ominous garb, he wore what appeared to be a rather loose black Kimono, covering his body from head to toe and tied at the waist with a sash decorated with a few embroidered blue ideographs of unknown origin. From over his shoulder, he pulled a rather complicated looking sword breaker with a crescent moon shaped edge on the end. As he let the sword breaker's edge touch the ground, a pulse of steam hissed past his feet. "This...isn't really anything to get mended or anything. I just replaced the bus interface card last week and scrapped a heat sink from one of the DX-A server systems in a facility up in the Nyonge Mountain range. Pumps the core processor and idle process speed just over twenty ticks. Could use a new tungsten contact for the core interface, though..." Celuvix trailed off, figuring out that he rambling about his own hobbies again. Fight, not studies. Fight. "So, Master, what will we be up to first?"
Kashiko handed the weapons and such to Win. <span style='color:red'>I suggest you take the Machina stuff to Cuesanu, as saying last time you fiddled with stuff like that you were a giant poofball of static electricity.</span> Win mumbled something under her breath and then poofed in a ball of blue smoke. <span style='color:red'>You actually let them pet you?! You are the sadest excuse for a warrior I've ever met!! Last time someone tried to pet me, ended up with one of their arms in their friend's drink....at the other end of the bar.</span> Kashiko rolled her eyes, she then motioned for him to follow. She walked calmly thru the streets. <span style='color:red'>They will not stop instantly, you have to gain uh....for lack of a better phrase 'Steet Credit.' You right now are easy pickings, your new to here, you just proved that an amatuer can steal from you, and your not likely to rip limbs off. Put simply, your easier then a two year-old with a lolli. The only thing you have going for you right now is your dressed properly, and you have a good blade. That is good news because thats two less thing I need to worry about. I have purposefully takin your blade away as there will be times when there is no time to draw a blade, and you hands are your best allie. Our first stop is an old tavern where an old, well young for me, friend of mine will test you in a few rounds and give me rough stats. There will be 5 rounds each fighter you face will be stronger in a different atribbute then the other. Only Dumo knows which is which and depending on his rating, depends on what happens to you first. If you beat all five of them, which I highly dought you will, you may gain a little reprieve from thieves, as you will have proved your toughness.</span> She stopped at a Tavern door labeld "The Curling Lace" and opened it up. She walked in an the room quited. You could hear a pin drop. She walked up to a greyish-black dragon with torn up wings and his left ear bitten down and point at Celuvix. <span style='color:red'>Test him as hard as you can, I want a full report afterwards, here's the usual.</span> She pulled out the satchel from down her kimono again and handed it to him. Which prompted a rwwrrrr from a nearby male, in a flash she had him by his throat in the air. <span style='color:red'>You should be more respectful to the Ladies, some of us bite back!</span> She bared her fangs at him, showing the extra length due to her Vampirism. He immidiatly quieted down as she thru him into a table. She then put her feet up on the table and her butt firmly in a chair. <span style='color:red'>Lets begin this game....</span>
He dare not follow too closely after her, an atmosphere other than the innocence he was used to, or the expeditious carnage that he worked amongst. It felt stagnant to him, both dangerous to be around and stuck in a downward spiral of failures. What was she trying to accomplish, so close to their meeting. Celuvix walked slower as he went further within the Black Market streets, a place where he wouldn't have set foot in to begin with. Even as the thoughts of picking up some second hand machina or a rare gear that had exchanged the wrong hands, his own hands tensed, eyes always searching. The lower society, while he was no upper crust elite, always dragged behind the wheels of change. "Isn't that dangerous, Master Kashiko? I'm...sure you could hold your own, and those who would know of your greater deeds would step back easily, but--" After listening to himself, Celuvix noticed that he did sound like a pushover. Even with that in mind, the idea of roughing people up for the benefit of a reputation seemed a bit off color. His eyes stared at the ground while walking, eventually catching eye of Kashiko's feet. Her words and actions were what intimidated him, not how she looked or what rumors spread. Taking that into consideration, she had a point. The milky Pendragon crossed his arms with another sigh towards his own pitifulness. "But I suppose you're right..." Silence, making the end of his sentence seem like a yell right before he cut himself short. He'd love to have that kind of reaction from ruffians, at least from greater deeds of physical prowess and martial awe. Celuvix would have come in, one arm through his kimono and the other resting casually over the battle hardened Ice Fang, an empty sleeve brushing through the air and his by then grand mane of platinum hair fluttering. That would take years, however, and better hair conditioner than he could afford at the moment. Five battles? Without his sword...ech. It wasn't common for him to resort to a physical blow, catching the opponent while they exchanged blade strikes, but his only hand-to-hand combat was in exercises to ease the body and allow strength to prosper. Skill was another animal all together. In the middle of his contemplation, the young pup blinked at his Master's quite sudden pointing. Thinking it an appropriate time to introduce himself to this person that would test him, Celuvix bowed quickly. "Please test me as you see fit!"
The other dragon raised an eyebrow at Kashiko as if to say 'that one?' and then shrugged and called out for a dragon named Kurzo. It was a big meaty dragon who moved slowly toward the ring. He finnally got in and cracked his knuckles. <span style='color:purple'>Round one Kurzo vs...er...</span> <span style='color:red'>Celuvix...thats all you need to know</span> He nodded and rang the bell, the big dragon lumbered forward and squatted with paws out wide as if he was going to take them and squeeze Celuvix to death from the sides. It was up to Celuvix what happens next. The ring master took a seat next to Kashiko. <span style='color:purple'>You pick'd a scrawny one al'right. 'E don't look too tough.</span> Kashiko silenced him with a paw <span style='color:red'>We will make that judgement when the time comes...He has been thru alot more then many a dragon his age...He may prove to be a more difficult fight then first expected. He is very relient on his sword though...so that will prove to be his weakness I do belive.</span> Kashiko crossed her arms and sat back in her chair to watch the fight. This one she knew from other times was a test of pure strength. Kurzo was very strong and hard skinned, but he lacked speed. It took alot to do him harm though, but because he was slow witted things could make him mad very easily.
Larger than a trash can, that was for sure. Celuvix didn't quite feel at home in a fight like this. In a less than glorious ring, glances of vagrants cast upon his confrontation, and up against a muscle head who more than likely harassed people just like himself. Meaningless, Celuvix thought. Whether a worthy opponent or even greater in strength, he lacked interest in such training. Oh well, when in Bhim... "Ah...I'm not sure if this is such a good--" Celuvix had his head cocked backwards, looking towards his master as a kitten staring at his petter for more. In the middle of his quiet protest, his ears perked at the sound of knuckles cracking at his flank. Whether he would protest or not, it wouldn't do any good to whine while his opponent was already on the way. Celuvix puffed a small breath, lowering his head and closing his eyes slightly. He turned around slowly to face the opponent, tapping the tips of his boots on against the floor. A roughneck from the streets, maybe? Or possibly a thief that worked the area, maybe a drunkard who had some kind of talent to not just be thrown out into the gutter. Celuvix had low expectations for this place, but as he focused on the target, Kurzo seemed much larger than he did before. Even if the hulk had no real fighting talent, Celuvix had no doubt. This might hurt. "Sir, please be careful. I may be small, but I'm wirey." Those with a large stature always seemed to find him as an easy target, but a life of pushing off bullies gave the young one plenty of experience. Of course, since running wouldn't do him any good. Celuvix leaned forward, almost falling to the ground as his platinum hair seemed to cascade forward. While he was already at his destination, small jets of dust burst into the air where his feet should have touched, and his kimono still fluttered from the quick movement. With those two flashing steps, Celuvix put himself in danger's way. His left leg rose from the floor as a swan flying from a lake, fluttering under his kimono with a stinging kick gained by his dashing momentum, striking for the hefty 'dragon's chest. His master said that he wouldn't be able to draw his blade, but as a small sharp point fell from the his sleeves, it was obvious Celuvix had something else in mind.
Kashiko sighed, he had a dagger-ish thing. She had said all weapons, after this fight was over she was going to have to frisk him, she had a feeling she was going to have to do this. Kurzo looked down as the foot hit his chest...he didn't even flinch. He moved rather slowly and grabbed Celuvix by the leg and held him upside down. <span style='color:blue'>You funny little dragon.</span> He then laughed some, not really paying much attention to Celuvix. He was easily amused by his opponent's smaller stature. He exposed his neck to attack though, a sensitive spot on any dragon. Kashiko crossed her arms and sat back. She then yelled at Celuvix <span style='color:red'>Don't kill him! Thats not the goal of this fight!</span> She knew he saw that open spot, and whould try and kill him if he had the chance, especially with the advantage of a dagger.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Canged. My mistake. X3</td></tr></table> Celuvix forced more pressure against his leg, beginning to strain and grit his teeth as his kick did little effect. His fingers loosely allowed the small blade to slip from beneath the Kimono, but just before he had the chance to make a dire strike, the world around him turned upside down. Literally. It was something that Celuvix certainly didn’t like. His older brother Palasaj would often pick him up by the back paw and dangle him over cold water when they lived together, or tease him by dragging him backwards on his tummy. Insulted from his position, the white fox’s ears pinned back in spilled spite for Kashiko. "Hnyaaaaa LET GO I SAY!" He wouldn't be so skilled as to pay attention for such open spots, especially with a musclehead holding him upside down like some sort of rag doll. Instead, Celuvix fussed and twitched as much as possibly, hair swishing all about while his arms threatened his opponent in frustration. His hidden blade, a stiletto attached to a small chain, fell from within the pendragon's sleeve and rattled to the floor with little incident. This was Celuvix, irate. In the middle of the young one's protest to apprehension, he curled up just enough to gnaw on Kurzo’s arm. “I sheed ret goah maa!" Lacking his previous grace, Celuvix’s rather heavy boots beat frantically against Kurzo’s face. Not really trying to attack, but more of a scrambling act of defiance.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I have a feeling where you put Kashiko you ment Kurzo, with the whole gnaw and kick thing...lol any way I'll continue anyway</td></tr></table> Kurzo barely moved as the feet flew at him. Kashiko sighed and rolled her eyes, then turned to the dragon next to her. <span style='color:red'>I think we can determine this battle finished...</span> He nodded in aggreance. He clapped and Kurzo promptly dropped Celuvix, definatly not lightly. Kashiko walked over and held out her paw. <span style='color:red'>Hand EVERYTHING over, I mean everything, or I'm going to make you do this next battle naked.</span> She was completely serious as she said this. There was a tone in her voice that just screamed that she really would make him do the next battle naked if he didn't hand everything over. The next opponent made his way into the ring. It was a wiry little dragon, but with muscular legs, oviously built for speed and kicking. He was rather nervous as could be seen by the look on his face and the twiddling of him hands. He seemed easy enough, but looks could be decieving.
Still swiping away for the big lug of a Pendragon, Celuvix plopped to the ground with his back twisted. While he contemplated letting loose a not-so-nice after battle confidence strike, he looked up a bit to see his master. Naked?! Well, it didn't seem as bad as she made it sound, but it was pretty obvious by now. She may be able to think of something worse. "Ah...heh. Yes, about that. I didn't know it was in there and it poked me so I was getting rid of it..." He wasn't much of a liar in some respects. When she scolded, Celuvix couldn't help but to lower his ears in shame while trying to get up. Reaching into both sleeves, the fluffyfua fua 'Dragon let a rain of ringing throwing knives fall to the floor one after another. Three stilettos, five letter openers, thirteen rusted nails, and a small bottle of liquid that didn't look to be cough medicine. Celuvix cleared his kimono, pushing them behind with his paws as he looked away from Kashiko. "That should be it. Unless you want me to get rid of these FISTS OF STORMS!" Letting out a hiss of fake crowds, the young Pendragon threw a few punches that fluttered the sides of his kimono. After a few punches, he turned his head at the notice of the next opponent. Almost immediately, Celuvix ran the situation through his head. Considering his first opponent, and since these folks didn't seem to be the types to throw a novice in (other than himself), there would be a different outcome from this battle. His next opponent probably wasn't stupid enough to play around. Staring towards his adversary, Celuvix tightened the sash around his waist.
Kashiko looked down in suprise...She wasn't expecting the nails...She then wistled and one of the lackies brought her a bag, she swept everything neatly into the bag and tied it up. She smirked slightly at the 'Fists of Storms' comment. <span style='color:red'>We'll see about that...so far it seems they are more like Fists-of-too-Much-Talking.</span> She moved back to the table and nodded for the next round to start. The smaller dragon bounced back and forth between his feet, as if he was REALLY nervous. He looked around frantically. Making sure he had room to dart if neccissary. He didn't look to tough...but those legs made his seem to be very fast...and being so skinny, he'd be a hard catch. Kashiko kicked back again. She crossed her arms and sighed, sheer strength was something they were going to have to work on, the Desert Run should help with that. Along with weighted sword training...Thats the way she was always taught, if you learn on a heavy sword, then your much faster with a light one. The Desert run was a run between Hathor's temple and Hathor's Arena, it was not only long, but scorching hot, and the markers sometimes went missing, or were covered up. The sun was your best guide during the day, night was easy. The path had numerous watering holes in it if needed, but you could only find them if you followed the path directly. <span style='color:red'>He might have a better chance here...The opponnent only really has speed...So maybe Celuvix can figure this one out...Hopefully...</span>
Opening his maw slightly, Celuvix sighed to himself while gathering a glance at his opponent. He seemed to be too wired, a bit edgy for the situation he had be put up to. Though, considering the surroundings, it made more sense. Though Celuvix was considering uses one of his aces up the sleeve--not a physical one, mind you--he didn't see this as a needful situation. "I'm tired just thinking about doing this...might as well get started." Celuvix gradually pushed his right foot out to the side, grinding the surface of the ring with the sole of his boots. He could start any moment, and it wouldn't matter. He had a feeling that this frantic fellow would flail any way he felt. Certain that his opponent wouldn't be the one to start, Celuvix lifted his right arm straight to the side. "I'm going." He trailed towards his opponent, tail flashing behind him and the edges of his kimono fluttering violently in the short sprint. The white pup's arm hung carelessly, palm upward and fingers loose as weeds. A sudden stop, barely inches from the smaller pendragon, Celuvix halted with one foot between the other Pendragon's feet. In that instance, he stared down with a sort of menacing glare empty, sly eyes of a fox fixed on his opponent while his kimono rustled. As if it caught up in speed, lagging from the run, his arm whipped into the air and came down in a brutal arc for a kinetic smite that would abort a million babies with one strike.
The other dragon panicked and tripped over Celuvix's foot, getting some of the blow, but not quite all of it, he stood up quickly and ran to the other side of the arena. He moved very fast, catching him again whould be a challange. He kept moving, in what seemed like a random pattern. Perdicting his next location whould be nearly immpossible. <span style='color:red'>Let's see if he plays this right...or if he freaks out about it...</span> Kashiko smirked, she knew the easy way to beat this guy, now it was time to see if Celuvix did. Win poofed into the bar and walked up to Kashiko. <span style='color:blue'>The Desert Run has been cleared The Lady did think you whould like to hear that so I came to tell you that.</span> <span style='color:red'>Your supposed to be working on the sword...</span> <span style='color:blue'>I know...but I need a break until Uno gets me a new hammer...You broke my last useable one...</span> Win glared, but Kashiko's more powerful glare won the glare-down. Win slinked back and left for town, figuring since she was here she'd try and find and indestructable hammer, so she wouldn't have to keep getting new ones. Kashiko sat back and continued to watch the fight.
I'm not even going to try... Celuvix stood there, shifting his arm back into the yukata, carefully moving his eyes from left to right in an attempt to keep watch over the spry little bugger. While he certainly was fast, and the question of whether or not stamina was an issue still in the air, Celuvix had no intentions of chasing ANYONE around in such a small space. Instead, he let his legs shift apart just enough for his tail to sway loosely between. He gave a quite uneasy looking grin, more of a sinister smirk on a face that never did much than stare off into the distance complacently. He shook his head from side to side a few times, whipping platinum hair away from his eyes while lifting a clench fist to his side. "Keep running! I hope you can go on longer than I can stand around, because the second you slow down I'm going to beat you down until you sneeze turds and crap earwax." His tail swept against the floor, bashing with a light thud as his tail flame seemed to increase in intensity. Eyes slowly lowering to focus on the spirited 'Dragon, his tail seemed to envelop his body, flickering with a broad tongue of sapphire fire. Whether it was from his tail moving quickly, or from something more mysterious, Celuvix seemed to be more in tune with what flowed within him. Hopefully it would do some good catching speedy if he really COULD run all day.
The thud sent the other dragon flying and sprawled on the ground. He oviously had been suprised by it, and the bounci-ness of the floor. Kashiko nodded, he had done well. She know knew he could take creatures of speed. <span style='color:red'>"Okay, I think thats good enough, I we really don't need to continue with this I have an idea were our concentration should work..."</span> She tipped the guy next to her and then turned to Celuvix <span style='color:red'>We are now to head to the dangerous training grounds in the Uhai, ones that are sacred to the Anubi and very few outsiders are allowed on...You may even be lucky and meet a High Priest or two on the way..."</span> She stood up and motioned for him to follow. She walked out of the bar and then closed the door. They were now to head to the Takara grounds, Hathor's rigerous training grounds for her priests in the old days...there were traps and things very few people knew how to counter, but he would learn very fast. His weapons were currently being mended and strengthened magically by the best there was. He would be a great fighter by the end of all things. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Gah! Sorry forgot about this thread >.<</td></tr></table>
Celuvix huffed loudly, letting out a quite obvious whine of annoyance while watching his master leave with not even a pat on the head. Honestly, how cold! His fur fluffed quietly, the tail sweeping the ring as he took a last look at the speedy 'Dragon. "W-whaaaat? You're confuuuusing me too much, wait up!" The white and platinum Pendragon yelped, hoping out of the ring with both feet pouncing. He landed, stumbling slightly out of the door and pulling the yukata over his back. <span style='color:beige'>"What are we gonna do in Anubi sacred lands? I don't like the sound of that. What if I step on someone's grave, or accidentally eat one of those High Priest's canes? How are you going to get in there? Isn't it sacred? Do you have some kind of Super Secret Sacred membership card with your face on it? Can I have one? When am I getting my stuff back?"</span> He trotted quickly on the tips of his hind paws, swaying from left to right at the side of Kashiko while rattling off his questions. Just as anticipated about getting her attention as he was, Celuvix's tail ecstatically whapped at the ground with his tail flame dancing like a wild basket wull of hyped kittens. <span style='color:beige'>"Master, you're awfully small. I mean, my brother is huuuuge and I'm the little one, but the idiots around here might mistake you for my little sister and it'd be bad if someone would pique your wrath. I could carry you on my shoulder, and you could bring about divine justice from abroad my mount while I beat away the unworthy with my pawings of retribution."</span> The snowy fox flexed, though it wasn't much to look at for a fluffling 15 turns past his hatching. <span style='color:beige'>"As long as it's my right shoulder. The left one hurts. Was trapped in a tree from the ninja birds what run free, their thier flight was an obstacle to get what they stole, my sweet snacks, berries, and other picnicables~"</span> He mused lyrically, finally slipping his lump-sided boots on the right way.
