<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>27 Mia (Winter), 81382 Who: Xaighaj Tkyjm</td></tr></table> Xai sauntered, as he usually did, down the sidewalk of Aurius. Beautiful city, water patters rippled on the pavement and on the buildings, of course, from the crushing water force outside the dome. Xaighaj absolutely adored this city. For the dome around it defied the fact that no creature without water breathing capacity should be able to live underwater. And the pressure the watter would be putting on the done, the dome itself was amazing. But no one paid attention to this fact. He let out a dejected sigh, and paused. Looking up, to the very top. Noticing the building and lights, hearing others walking down the street. But only focusing on the scientific matter at hand. He laughed and shrugged, continuing down the street in a positive saunter. Something that gave out an air on confidence and arrogance, almost authority in a way. But that's just the way he was, positive, and unique.
Who: William Gojgla Wearing: Blue shirt, Red long pants. A green pelted, sparkling eyed, one winged pendragon, William, walked out of a building with others. He stretched his wing and his body, lifting his arms in the air. One pendragon walked out after Will with a bag on his back. Will turned to face him. "Maurice, I'll see you next week." Will picked up his bag then started to walk. He walked with his bag on his back. His feathered wing was drawn in so it wouldn't hit anyone in the face. He just got to a corner then turned, running into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry," he apologized to the lavender/orchid lukuo looking pendragon.
"<span style='color:white'>Oof, whoa.</span>" Xai blinked as the 'dragon walked into him. Shaking his head he repressed a laugh, less than a day in the city and he'd already ran into someone, "<span style='color:white'>No I should be sorry. I wasn't paying attention.</span>" He felt like it was his fault after all. He hadn't been paying attention. The Arden was certainly different, one wing, that wasn't very common these days. That led Xaighaj to wonder if he'd been born that way or not. He didn't realize he'd been staring, but blinked himself out of it. "<span style='color:white'>So how are you today?</span>" He grinned.
As Will got back into balance, he said, "Well neither was I, so lets we're both sorry." Will thought for a moment then noticed that the ardan was looking at his wing. "If your wondering about the wing, the other was torn off. I got into a fight. It's not a deformity if that's what you are wondering" Will fixed his bag onto his shoulder like it was before. When the ardan asked how Will was, Will just smiled, "I'm fine, how about you?" He then gave off a light yawn. "Aww, excuse me."
"<span style='color:white'>Ouch. That sucks. I can't fly well either, so I guess the feeling is near mutual.</span>" He wouldn't have found it strange at all if it was a deformity, he's met Lukuo like that, rarely but he had. He regretted not having a notebook or clipboard with him, that'd be an interesting note to take. "<span style='color:white'>I'm good anyways. I rarely come here but this city always has fascinated me. So it's put me in a good mood.</span>" He laughed and pointed at a bench, "<span style='color:white'>Let's move outta the way of the sidewalk.</span>"
Will smiled, "I never liked to fly by my own wings. I like being on the ground." Will wonder why the ardan wanted to know if it was a deformity, Will thought that the ardan thought that Will was lukuo. It was kind of odd. "It's good to hear that your fine too. I come here for the book club." As the ardan pointed to a bench, Will turned back to him and said, "After you."
Xaighaj smirked, "<span style='color:white'>Book club? They have one here?</span>" Then turned and walked calmly over to the bench, sitting down. He had never been fond of book clubs, most often then not they never spoke about scientific books. "<span style='color:white'>Why did you not like to fly? I would love to if I could properly, it helps me... understand some things better, so to speak.</span>" Understanding... sure, that was a good word for it.
Will sat down next to him, placing his bag on the ground. "Yes they do and judging by your eyes, you like scientific books, right?" Will looked at Xai with a curious look. "I didn't like to fly. Not because of heights, I just didn't." He leaned back up against the wall to take a short rest.
Glancing varefully at his new acquaintence he nodded, "<span style='color:white'>Yes, chemistry, physics, biology, anything like that. Quite fascinating really, how our world works.</span>" Ah, he'd better not ramble about it, he didn't want to lose the guy with something he may not understand. That would suck. "<span style='color:white'>Interesting how you didn't like to fly though... most all I know who own wings are avid fliers.</span>" It was true, and he knew many, he'd even met a flight teacher once.
"Yes, chemistry, physics, biology, anything like that. Quite fascinating really, how our world works." Will looked at Xai, surprised that he too like those books. "So, you're into those books too? I am. I have books about rockstar, the world, plants, fauna, and the ground. And Requiem says I'm too brainy because of the books." "Interesting how you didn't like to fly though... most all I know who own wings are avid fliers." Will looked in front of himself then back to Xai. "To tell you the truth, I always wanted to fly, but dad said I had to learn Aerokinesis, but instead I learned Elemental Kinesis, and forbid me from ever flying." He stopped to take a breath, then continued, "But before he died, he told my mum to continue the banning of me flying, but died then I had a chance to fly, but got into a fight then lost one wing." He stopped then took another deep breath, then continued, "So there."
"<span style='color:white'>Haha, being 'brainy' is never a bad thing. It gets you to good places in the world.</span>" He wasn't very interested in the fauna or flora itself, but more of how their actions affected their ecosystems. Though he had to admit he loved plants, and couldn't bear to eat them, "<span style='color:white'>Not much into studying the flora and fauna itself. Though I love plants, most of the non-carnivorous once are very innocent and yet we hack them down as if they were air.</span>" "...forbid me from ever flying." "<span style='color:white'>Isn't that pushy? Terrible father if you ask me. Never spent to much time with my own parents, I read books too much.</span>" He never had an very fond memories of them, "<span style='color:white'>I live on my own right now, but I plan to enroll at Janarden and get a dorm there.</span>"
"Haha, being 'brainy' is never a bad thing. It gets you to good places in the world." Will gave off a light blush then a smile. "You got that right. I'm usually considered the smart one of the gang." Will always like to read about many things. Plants was usually his favourite subject, but there was also fauna and other things. "Not much into studying the flora and fauna itself. Though I love plants, most of the non-carnivorous once are very innocent and yet we hack them down as if they were air." Will nodded in agreement, as if Xai convinced him. "Yeah, I'm against that." "Isn't that pushy? Terrible father if you ask me. Never spent to much time with my own parents, I read books too much." Will looked kind of sad because of his father. "Well, he was my dad. How can I hold a grudge against him? Or my mother for that matter? Too many memories." Will was down and sad, because he knew why his dad forbid him from ever flying. "I live on my own right now, but I plan to enroll at Janarden and get a dorm there." Will looked up at Xai. "Janardan? Wow. Where do you currently live?" Will then thought, he just met him and he hasn't introduced himself. "Oh, I'm William. William Gojgla."
Realizing they had yet to introduce themselves he grinned, <span style='color:white'>I'm Xaighaj Tkyjm. But you can just call me Xai.</span>" Returning the the conversation he though about what William had said, 'Well, he was my dad. How can I hold a grudge against him? Or my mother for that matter? Too many memories.', shrugging, Xai replied, "<span style='color:white'>A parent's influence can be cruel that way. I suppose.</span>" As for the flora and fauna, "<span style='color:white'>I must sound like a hippie or something saying this, but I wish everything could live equally. So the animal rights activists, save the rain forest people, and the sort can all just sit back and take a break.</span>"
"I'm Xaighaj Tkyjm. But you can just call me Xai." Will gazed at him with his hand held out and a light smile. "Well, Xai, pleasure to meet you" "A parent's influence can be cruel that way. I suppose." Will had a quick think about that. His parents were only trying to protect him that's all. "Well, I wouldn't say that. They were only trying to protect me. It's what parents do, but they're dead now. However, I do have a family relative that might still be alive. My older sister, Sarah Gojgla. Have you heard of her?" "I must sound like a hippie or something saying this, but I wish everything could live equally. So the animal rights activists, save the rain forest people, and the sort can all just sit back and take a break." Will agreed to that. Xai was absolutely right. Everything should live equally. "Yeah, that is what I also wish for. You know, I don't eat any meat at all. Only organic health food."
Xai smirked and took William's hand. "<span style='color:white'>Mind if I call ya Will?</span>" "<span style='color:white'>Never heard of parents trying to protect their children from flying... Eh, oh well, can't change someone's mind once it's set.</span>" Xai said with a shrug. 'Yeah, that is what I also wish for. You know, I don't eat any meat at all. Only organic health food.' Shrugging, Xai replied, "<span style='color:white'>Eh, I'll eat meat, I'm just picky, if it's a home run butcher that doesn't use fancy machines I'll buy from them. I'd rather eat old fashoned buchered meat rather than the stuff that goes through factories.</span>
"Mind if I call ya Will?" Will didn't mind at all. Metting new friends was something he liked. "I don't mind at all," he said smiling "Never heard of parents trying to protect their children from flying... Eh, oh well, can't change someone's mind once it's set." William agreed, you can't change peoples minds. Well not all the time. His parents were kind pendragons, helpful at best. "That's right, you can't. There wasn't any problem with my sister, she hasn't got wings." "Eh, I'll eat meat, I'm just picky, if it's a home run butcher that doesn't use fancy machines I'll buy from them. I'd rather eat old fashoned buchered meat rather than the stuff that goes through factories." Will was misunderstood. He thought that Xai meant he likes animals to keep alive from butchers. "Oh, umm... well, it's not that I don't eat meat, it's just not very often."
"<span style='color:white'>There are always differences in siblings. I guess she didn't have much of a problem then?</span>" He asked with a shrug. 'Oh, umm... well, it's not that I don't eat meat, it's just not very often.' Xai shrugged, "<span style='color:white'>Whatever floats your boat I guess. Everyone has their own preferences I guess.</span>" <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>No inspiration at all. Sorry.</td></tr></table>
OOC: It's ok. I forgive you :) IC: "There are always differences in siblings. I guess she didn't have much of a problem then?" The thought went through Will's mind for a split second. Xai was right though, there is are big differences between siblings and Will and Sarah were like that. "You've got that right, there are a few differences between me and Sarah. I have a bit of a problem with it, but Sarah doesn't." The thought of his sister really disturbed Williams mind. She was the only thing Will was thinking about for a while. "Whatever floats your boat I guess. Everyone has their own preferences I guess." Now Will wasn't really a vegetarian, only a few days he eats greens and other days he also eats meat. "Well, yes, but I see it more as what I eat that a preference."
"<span style='color:white'>I don't have siblings m'self, but I can slightly grasp the situation. Were your parents playing favorites maybe?</span>" He shrugged slightly. He couldn't help much. "Well, yes, but I see it more as what I eat that a preference." That thought sat on Xai's mind for a moment, before the almost sheer stupidity of how it sounded sunk in, and Xai started laughing uncontrollably.
"I don't have siblings m'self, but I can slightly grasp the situation. Were your parents playing favorites maybe?" Will was troubled by that question. There wasn't any favourites. Will would know. "No, they weren't." The question troubled him more. Mabye they were behind his back and he didn't know about it. The One Winged Angel was not happy about those things.
