Through one of the many grand doors of the Academy sauntured forth a rather tall induvidual. The warm early winter sun shimmered upon his soft copper coat. It was like each hair was a thin thread of copper sculpted to fit his well defined body. Muscles moved as he moved his hands to rest in the pockets of his blue ski coat. The male looked around the vast courtyard and noted each induvidual that was hanging around. A group of guys were sitting on the edge of the fountain talking and laughing. A mixed group of younger students played with a ball in the open area of the 'yard and a pair of girls sat under one of the larger trees reading intently. A sigh escaped his chest. It was another normal day at the academy. He brought a hand up and scratched behind his neck before proceeding down the steps. His two-toned cream and copper tail billowed behind him like a banner as he walked. Muscles strained against his jeans but not so much that he looked beefy. His spiked bangs fluttered infront of his deep cerulean eyes as he stared down at his shoes. Hands were once again shoved into his pockets as he proceeded to the other end of the courtyard. It was one of the more quiet spots where he could work. Padding near the large willow where he liked to sit, he swept the hanging branches aside and stepped into the canopy. Walking behind the tree, he sat and pulled out a worn sketchbook. The sunlight glimmered through the trees and cast golden dots on the grass below. He opened the worn old book and flipped to a blank page. Placing the pencil on the parchment, he began to draw. A large smile crossed his face as the shapes began to form a 'dragon female. She was thin and elegant. She had appeared in his sketchbook many times before and she was in his thoughts constantly. Digi... Pleiades sighed as he thought of her. She went to the other Academy and Plei rarely saw her. He loved her dearly and he constantly stayed in touch with her. Plei leaned back on the tree and closed his eyes in thought.
A thin, mysterious pendragon wrapped in a gentle cloak landed before him, all fours gracefully clinging to the thin blades of grass. "If you think too much, it'll only make you hurt." The creature smirked as she stepped toward a vacant tree, figure resting, only slightly, against it's bark. "It's true, you know." Almost a hiss erupted Tem's thin lips as she listened to the chattering of the many others that inhabited the school. Indeed she was new to this academy and she didn't particulary take kindly to new people, unless of course she approuched them first. Her mutated plume shifted behind her cloak yet she kept it's thinness and ever changing flame hidden within the shadows and folds. She turned her attention again to the male slumped aside the tree, awaiting some form of response.
Lids fluttered open in suprise at the other 'dragon's voice. Deep saphire orbs stared at the mysterious female in wonder and bemusment. Wolven-like tail moved across the grass like a snake as he swung it once. Dual colored visage lit up with a smile as he nodded to her. Indeed. I guess that can be true. Audits perked at the hissing note in her voice and quirked a brow. That same smile was still evident 'pon his face as he watched her. Her hand moved across the bark lightly and Plei noted that as well. She was very mysterious but not dangerous at all. She seemed nice enough. My name's Pleiades, but everyone prefers Plei. What's your name?
"Hello Plei." Tem released a soft laugh as she pulled back the bangs that always hid her beautiful metallic pink eyes. "Tem..." Her hand rested at her haunches; bangs falling once again before her eyes, shielding them from the sight of others. Thoughts invaded the mind, rememberance of her mutany. "You might want to stay from me...I'm not as innocent and kind as you may think" The once vibrant expression dulled and frown overtook the smile. Blood stained albino wings stretched skyward as she rose upon her haunches. A shadowed smile slightly appeared then vanished. "Please. Don't think too much Plei." Her cerulean tipped bangs swayed softly as she looked toward the sky, hesitating to take off.
Plei smiled as she laughed. Her eyes startled him for a moment. He had never seen such eyes in his life. Quite different. The copper male watched as she stared down at him. Something flashed infront of her eyes and Plei's auds perked. You might want to stay from me...I'm not as innocent and kind as you may think... Plei nodded to her and sighed. He had had his share of people like that and had learned to get along with them suprisingly. His dual colored tassle swept the ground as he watched her hesitate. Hey wait! You don't have to go. I'm not forcing you to.
Tem ceased her momentary thoughts to fly; she hated flying, she found it stupid. She glanced at Plei and decided to remain, her rear falling softly against the grass while her back leaned against the bark of the tree. "Okay..." Was her response as she fiddled with blades of grass before finally noticing his sketchpad. Slowly, hesitantly she neared him, still remaing in front of him she leaned over, head cantering to look at his picture. "Is this the girl you were thinking about?" She asked carefully yet adding a small giggle to prove her friendliness. "She is very beautiful." Tem nodded as she fell back on her haunches.
Plei smiled at her decision. It was nice to have someone to talk to. He was rarly given the chance, seeings how no one knew him here. He began to draw a few more lines on the picture to finish it up. Tem suddenly leaned over to look at the picture. Plei blushed a little for he had never shown his sketches to anyone. So he was afraid of a little critisum, big deal. The copper male let out a breath at her comments. Nodding, he motioned to the picutre. Yes, that's her. And she'd probably would like your comment. Plei smiled. Digi just loved compliments but she gave them out more then she recived them.
Tem smiled weakly before pulling back, her fore paws resting on her calves. She wasn't as bad as everyone assumed, or well, once you got to know her. She shrugged dryly, answering one of her own many questions. She sat there dormant, thinking about small idiotic things.
