<span style='color:red'>Day: 19 Month: Tria (Summer) Year: 81378 (4)</span> Khodac took Asenka's hand as they walked down to the beach, outside of the city. The waves were small, it must have been low tide. The moonlight reflected off the water, it was a beautiful site. Khodac opened the bag he had brought and set up a blanket, and placed a mini cooler down. It was filled with beer, vodka coolers and what not, along with some food. He smiled at her. "Nice to get out, isn't it?" . He sat down undernieth the blanket and pulled his boots off. He liked the feeling off sand under his feet. It was calming.
"Mmhm." she said taking off her shoes as well and laying down on the blanket. It was pretty down here. She signed, stuck her hands behind her head, and closed her eyes. The waves sounded a little like the waves in the 'tub, but this was much more relaxing. There didn't seem to be anyone else around. She couldn't think of who would be, since it was very early in the morning. She sat up and propped up her torso with her arms. She stared through squinted eyes at the ocean, thinking.
He smiled at Asenka. Then he removed his shirt, it was much to hot for one, reveiling his built upper body. "What would you like to do on the beach?" he asked.
Asenka was brought out of her trance quickly by his voice. She looked over at him and smiled. "Let's swim." she said. She sat up and slipped over her jeans and shirt. she really did have a good body. She was just always to shy to show it off anywhere. She shook her hair out of the bun it was up in, ran up to the water, and jumped in.
He smiled and nodded, then jumped into the water. His hair spiked up when he went in water, giving him a punk like appearance. He dived undernieth Asenka and came up beside her, giving her a hug.
Asenka tried to hug him back, but he was much bigger than her, so she was nearly brought under. After he let go of her she dived under and looked around under the water. After she broke the surface, she felt the warm air hit her face. She turned around and looked for Khodac. She couldn't see him anywhere.. She spun, worried that he had gone under or something.
Khodac senced her worry. He quickly came up from the bottem of the shore. He smiled at her. "Having fun?"
Asenka let out a sigh of relief. "Yes.", she said happily, "lots." She floated on her back for awhile. Thenn flipped over and swam back to shore. She walked just far enough to collapse on the beach towel. Swimming tired her out bad. She yawned and watched Khodac walk up the shore after her. The way the light made a halo around his head, it made her wish she had her camera.
Asenka wrung her hair out and put it up in a messy ponytail. She fell back on the towel and relaxed for a bit, still imagining Khodac in the sunlight. She smiled at the thought. Then she looked over at Khodac. Or rather, over his shoulder at the children way off on the other side of the beach. They and they're watching parents seemed to be the only ones other than themselves occupying the beach. They looked very very young too.. How lucky they were. To have parents that cared enough to keep them, and love them like that. One of them (she had on a dress, so Asenka assumed it was the girl) looked over at them. The girl jumped up and down waving for a bit. Asenka smiled at her. She knew the girl couldn't see it, but she did it anyway. The girl stood looking at them for awhile, until her brother came and distracted her again, then she ran off after him, forgetting they were there.
Khodac smiled a lot around this girl. She was different than all the others. He trusted her, loved her. He turned his head to face Asenka. "I love you"
Asenka was still watching the children play and splash around in the water when Khodac said this. Most of her hair had fallen out of the ponytail now. She just took it down and looked at him. "I love you too." she said without a trace of doubt. No one had ever actually told her that.. And it felt like a forgien language to her to say it back.
Asenka looked at him for a bit, and then up at the sun. She could almost tell what time it was by it's position.. It was about 9 now. Asenka eyed the picnic basket. "How 'bout some breakfeast?"
He smiled and handed her the picnic basket. "I saw you were looking at those children over there..." he smiled. "I love children...". He looked at the ground.
Asenka looked up from buttering them some toast and smiled widely at him. "Me too. Even though I doubt I'd make that great of a mother.. Since I never actually had one." she said while staring at the piece of bread now. She finshed buttering and putting jelly on it and set it a plate. Then, she started on another one for her.
"Well I think you would make a great mother" he said smiling back at her. He looked in the picnic basket and pulled out a can of soda. He opened it and took a sip. "Specially because your so nice..."
She smiled. "Really? Thanks." she bit into the piece of toast she had prepared for herself, then put it down on the plate. She peeked into the mini-fridge <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>(you'll see why I didn't call it a "cooler" here in a second..)</td></tr></table> and looked for a wine cooler. She loved those things.. She finally found one and took a drink as she leaned back on her elbows and watched the children chasing each other again. "Kids would be so much fun.." she thought, "but so much work at the same time.." she added to her thought as she saw the boy jump on the sun bathing parents towel.
He smiled and peered into the mini-fridge, looking at a vodka cooler. He pulled one out and opened it and took a sip. He loved these things. "Well what would you like to do after this?" he asked enjoying the sun. "I'm bad at idea's so you decide" he said smiling.
Asenka had laid down and was letting the sun hit her now. She opened one eye and looked over at Khodac smiling. "And I'm better?" She thought for a bit.. She could see a pier off in the distance. She also saw some boats. They looked small from over here, but they might not be the kind of boats she was thinking of.. She took another drink of her wine and then nodded at the pier. "Are those fishing boats, or can you sail on them?" she asked sitting up to get a better look at the boats. And him.
