Quarter: Tessera Day: 21 Year: 81377 Darkness seemed to envelop the harsh stone walls of the temple and creep with a coldness unknown to any being. The moon was in it's full cycle and its silver light seeped through the small cracks where vine tresses had broken through the 1 foot thick walls. It dotted the Temple floor and just seemed to add to the mystery of the old building. But, even the building had beauty traced within it's very confindes. Along the walls were paintings and carvings of the history of Ramath-Lehi. The language was written in the old-speach that not many still practiced. Only a select bunch could recite the odd symbols that were carved so intergratly into the cold wall. No being resided inside the Temple anymore...no one except a young, renegade female. Deep within the Temple sat a dark colored she-'dragon. A small fire was flickering and dancing near her, casting it's warm glow on the walls. She seemed to be hunched o'er some sort of scroll or ancient book. Her claw followed the writing as she spoke it aloud. The fae's harsh voice echoed along the walls and the tone of it spoke that of something none could comprehend. The female was reciting spells and passages out of a Dark Arts book. Obviously stolen off of some sorcerer, it was damp and dirty from being carted around so long by her. A low growl came from the female and she arose to her feet. Padded closer to the fire, her dark, forest green pelt shimmered in the faint glow of the burning embers. Two sable colored wings hung o'er her back, shoulders never coming in contact with them. It was as if some unexplainable dark force kept them above the young female's shoulders. She was slim in stature but tall and lanky in hight. Glancing back to the book once more she read a passage aloud to herself quietly, slate green orbs dancing. Her tail twitched once and she reclined 'pon her haunches. bringing her paws up. They began to move in an intergrate dance with one another, moving along with the words that she now spoke. Her voice became colder and colder as she contiued. Ifita et us shi't kynnump. Ifita's hands clasped together 'pon finishing the chant. Eyes were still clamped shut as she waited with abaited breath to see if the spell worked. One eye slit open and she looked around to see the same cold walls as before. Looking down, Ifita saw nothing different. With a frustrated snarl, she slamed the book shut. She sat near the fire for a while...until she looked up. There was a large peice of roof gone above her and the full moon smiled down at her. The stars danced and glittered in their own pattern as Ifita sighed. She would master the Dark Arts someday, she could feel it.
Upon stepping out of the shadows, another over heard the chants that echoed within the walls of the old ruin temple. A set of light blue glowing orbs gazed upon the temple with intention on going to findout to whom was attempting to recreate old spells of dark arts. Reaches his forepaws up and drew the black hood back over his ash coloured pelt and maw then headed up towards the temple enterance slowly. A light sound of cracking bone errupted from the two dead wings he had on his back, but at the time can't be seen for the reason of the black cloak that he worn. Takes his first step into the temple, placing a paw out into the smooth tile then brought the other one up. He crossed his arms over in the sleves of the cloak to hide anything from view besides the wolf tail and ash coloured feet that carried him across the floor towards the one that was preforming the spell. He stepped up behide the femme 'dragon and spoke in a soft, seductive voice to her. "By what means...brought you here my dear." Moved his eyes away from looking at her to the black book that she had sitting infront of her. Glared slightly at it before returning his gaze to the female.
Still glaring at the book, she hadn't noticed the other 'dragon who had padded up ever so quietly behind her. Her brows were set in a furrowed position as she stared down at the book's cover. It seemed to laugh at her and her stupid atempts at ever trying to master the one thing she craved, darkness. Green pelt seemed to blend with the shadows as the flame died more and more each passing second. It cast dark shadows upon her face and made her seem rather mysterious. The scar upon her left haunch suddenly sheared with a violent pain and she glanced over to it slowly as if it were a mere annoyance. To her distaste, it had begun to bleed again and the crimson liquid flowed over the rose shaped scar like a lovers last strife to save the one he most desires. Her glittering orbs suddenly flashed dangerously and her body tensed as the voice of the male echoed around her. In a swift movement she was up on her feet, clutching the book to her rjauts. Visage was contorted into a rage as she glared at him. His seductive voice threw her off her guard for a second but she was right back on it again. Why would that be any of your buisness sir? She spat the words out bitterly and a cold veil had once again decended over her heart.
He holds his hand up at the parcel that she held then it tugged away from her grasp and over the figure cloaked in the black robe. He then took the book into the hand tht called it over then turned it cover up to his face looking at the anicent marks that seemed to very old to the 'dragons of today, but to his eyes it was like looking at something he had the other day. A snort comes from beneath the hood then a set of white glowing eyes afterwards as he stared back at the female. "Well, you see...I can help you understand these scriptures in a matter of days. Which that would take any other pendragon centuries." Releases the book and it floats in the air as the figure drew his hand back from it. He looks back down away from her to hide his eyes once more.
Her shoulders relaxed a bit as he spoke of helping her understand the text written in the ancient books. Ifita already understood some of it, but other parts were very vague. Grasping the book out of the air, she opened the book and flipped through it idly. She stopped suddenly and looked up to him with a very quizzical look. Slate green orbs glittered with confusion and nervousness. Ifita rose her head fully to look at him. His glowing eyes startled her slightly but she soon got over it. Although she couldn't understand why he was trying to hide them. Speaking cautiously, she took a step closer to him. So, you mean to tell me you understand this? And why do you want to help me? What have I ever done to help you sir?
Reaches his paws up and draws off the hood of the cloak slowly revealing his young and very atractive face. Opens his eyes slowly and looks to her as they continue to glow with the same erie colour as before. "Yes...I can read the anicent text." The ash coloured fur rose and fell back against his face as the wind blew through the temple. He turns his gaze away from her and walks over to one of the shrines that had a large crystal placed at the center of it then looked up at the crystal. Glared a bit as he when to answer the next question. "To have another that understands these books of power, so that this person can be as a partner to me." His words rolled out of his mouth seductively as they did moments ago. "In time...you will have done something for me." Lowers his eyes from the crystal then in an instant appears standing behide the female 'dragon looking down on her.
Ifita watched the male with a more truthfull gaze. A he reached up to pull away the hood, her slate green gazed locked onto his eerie glowing orbs. Suddenly, she felt as if she was to be lost inside the endless light from which they emitted. Tail flicked to and fro in an endless dance as Ifita snapped out of the reverie. Auds perked with intrest at his proposal to help her. She was somewhat skeptical of the suductive tone in his voice but if he was willing to help her... Feeling the presence of him behind her made her smile slightly. The wind billowed through the cold temple and ruffled the brown feathers 'pon her wings. A shiver danced down her spine and she couldn't fight the urge to stop it. Going on instinct, she leaned into the youthfull male. Looking up to him, she nodded and smiled. I agree to your terms and am willing to be your partner in this.
With hearing her agreeing to his terms, the male reached up his hand from his side slowly then placed it about her waist slowly then reaches the other hand up and extends a claw out. Gently dragging it along the form of her chin, lifting her head up s bit more then the male leaned his maw down along side hers and sniffed her very slowly. Rubbing his face along hers as he continues to sniff along her neck. Closes his eyes slowly then draws back his maw away from her. Removes his arm and hand from her body then steps back a bit feeling the warmth of her body vanish from his touch. Opens his eyes again then reaches his hand up and removes the cloak that he wore, causing it to drop to the floor behide him. His white business suit failed out a bit as the wind blew again. Places his hands into his jacket pockets then looks over the female slowly. "So, shale we begin...my dear Ifita?" Looks past her for a moment then his eyes glowed a deep red colour then the doors at the front of the temple slam shut. Relaxes his energy then his eyes returned to the mellow glowing from before.
Shivering at the touch of his hand 'pon her waist, Ifita suddenly felt the urge to be with him. He was gentle with his touch and a small smile crossed her finely chiseled visage. Audits flicked backward as he placed a claw 'pon her chin. He suddenly had his face close to her's and she froze. Ifita had never been this close in proximity to a male before and was slightly intimidated. But he soon stepped back and released his cloak. The feeling of warmth left her body and the bitter cold soon found it's way back. Forest green fur ruffled in the breeze but as soon as he closed the door, it stopped. Reaching a paw up, she brushed away a white bladed bang and sat down infront of her dwindling fire. The cloak which was wrapped around her billowed out behind her and her tail stuck out from under it, flicking idoly. Slate green orbs studied his finely muscled body under his white buisness suit before quickly diverting her eyes to look at the open book sprawled out on her crossed legs. She spoke calmy as she studied the book. Yes we can begin but before we do that, may I ask of your name?
Looks over at her out the corner of his eye and glares slightly then looks back to the wall. Licks his lips slowly and placed his hand back into his coat pocket looking to the anicent pictures of pendragons and some kind of shadow creatures depicked there. Shaked his head a bit then turned his eyes back to Ifita as she set on the floor. "Ifita. Now show me what you have solved in this book that you have made readable." Kneels down infront of her and shifted his bone wings next to his back.
She studied the ancient book before looking up to him. She knew that the book held great power but she didn't know if she had the power to control it. Her slate orbs glazed over for a second as she thought of a couple of phrases that she had memorized. She slowly traced the page with a long digit before pausing on a paragraph. Speaking in a willing tone, she followed the words. Well I know that this whole paragraph speaks of a great, ancient power that resides within all 'dragons on Ramath-Lehi. I only know most of the history but barely any of the spells that reside within this book
Sieben reached his hand out slowly and placed it at the top of the book, glares a bit as she looks to the pages. Then he turns his eyes to Ifita then placed his hand beneath the book cover and closed it. Rested his hand atop the book and continues to look to Ifita, feeling the sleeping energy that she consealed into her body. Sieben rose up to his feet and extended his hand to her slowly, eyes shifting from the soft red glow to a faint blue colour. "Then, if you feel that you haven't the energy to use any of this spells then we must awaken them." The blue in his eyes faded back to white and he continued to stare at her. The hand he extended had a round circle scar on the palm that seemed to go all the way through to the other side.
Seeing herself under scrutiny by Sebian, she shifted slightly on her spot on the ground. She knew that he was searching for that power that somehow resided inside of her. Orbs flickered with worry and intrest at his gaze. Ifita couldn't ignore the fact that she was deeply intrested in Sebian. She had to be near him. It was as if an unseen force was pulling her towards him. Smiling to herself, she rose as he reached out a hand. Placing her hand in his, she swiped back her white bangs once more. Noticing the scar, Ifita decided to ask him about it later. She walked over to him and stood near him, dark brown robe billowing in the movement. Her tail flicked as she gazed up at him.
Sieben reached his hand out and places it to the side of Ifita's face gently then spun her around to where she had her back against him. Releases her hand slowly and places his arm about her waist looking down on her as his other hand creeps up the side of her neck slowly with gentle fingertips. Smiled as he looked down on her then drew his fingers to the base of her chin and slides them up and over her lips softly. "The only way to awaken the energy you have locked away inside of your shell is to go through a heighten emotional moment. Only then will the power come to life." Looked down into Ifita eyes and licked his lips slowly smiling at her. Passion burned in his eyes as he looked into hers.
It was so cold out there! A slick white pendragon shivered violently as he came through the large wooden doors into the slightly colder hall with slow numb movements. His breath was a visible frost that bounced beyond his long muzzle, swirling around his head, uncurling from his nostrils like a dense smoke. His throat was sore from the artic frozen air that had been forming outside in large clumps. He had barely escaped the storm that was now brewing outside the feral looking temple. His coat was soaked, the fur was matted and tangled as if he hadn’t groomed for years. Large onyx orbs strained to the finery that littered the walls, the temple had a ghostly feel to it, a feeling of emptiness and forlorn. Perhaps this was not a better refuge from a storm? He had only come on an impulse, jumping through the back doors of the temple before the hail could tear him apart, “Hello" his deep voice bounced off the walls coming back to haunt him with there distant echoes “is anyone there?" he leaned back awkwardly to the side, peering down the twisted halls that seemed to voice unwelcome with clarity. “Please, if anyone is there, please I need a place to stay for a night! I come in peace, for I am nothing but a weary traveler escaping a rather violent storm; that has been brewing for quite some time I might say!" as he finished his voice had gotten smaller as he realized he was only talking to himself. He stood there for sometime clutching his jacket and scarf idly, the weight of his bag a heavy burden. He growled slightly in fatigue, listening to the rain outside for a moment before he decided then to enter the door to his right. As the great wooden door opened he was yet again confused with another maze of rooms and doors. A prison you could never escape from…he shook his head roughly, erasing all such cowardly thoughts. As he walked into the second room he had entered he felt warmth suffuse his body in white rays. To his right he saw a light shinning from the corner of his eye. He turned around, his ears perking as he first heard voices conversing in low intimate tones. The door to another chamber stood ajar, a tiny crack of light spread out upon the floor. Two pendragons he could tell were blurred from his vision. An intimate setting, fire flickering over the two silhouetted forms, the room was crowded with books, a library perhaps? There voices differed in structure, one was almost a light and airy sound, the other was deeper, a male. Perhaps he was unwanted; he spied upon them, pushing the door crack open farther without a tiny creak. "The only way to awaken the energy you have locked away inside of your shell is to go through a heighten emotional moment. Only then will the power come to life." What were they talking about? he felt a chill creep along his spine. He leaned in closer; his thick coat grazed the ground. Muzzle almost touching the stone floor. He crouched near the open door half surprised they both had not spotted him yet. He leaned in, trying at the same time to waddle closer. His foot caught in his scarf that had been dragging upon the floor, and he fell gasping with stunned realization, into the room.
Feeling slightly bewildered at the closness of their bodies, Ifita looked up to Sebian with a sense of passion which burned within the cold slate emeralds. They once held pure distrust and hate for all, now held an intrested and warm gaze. A small smile gripped at the edges of her lips as she pushed herself closer to him. His words echoed in his mind as her face crept closer. 'The only way to awaken the energy you have locked away inside of your shell is to go through a heighten emotional moment. Only then will the power come to life.' Well if she knew any better, this would be a very emotional moment. Never having been close to any 'dragon before, she was amazed at the effect this kind soul had on her. Her doubts left her jumbled thoughts as she leaned in and placed her soft lips on his. The feel sent shivers down her spine. The sudden coldness of the room made Ifita press closer to Sebian as she let her lips stay locked onto his. The sudden sound of the other males voice made Ifita jump away from the warmth of Sebian's body. She stared back at the male whom stated that he needed refuge from the bitter cold outside. Taking an odd glance towards Sebian, she turned and stared at him. What is your name sir? And why are you out in the cold in the first place? There was no compassion in her voice as she gazed at him with hard slate green emeralds. Ifita held her old personallity against the other male.
Sieben closed his eyes as he felt her lips press against his. The touch of her body as it was being pressed against his. But that feeling all came to a end when she drew back from the kiss to the sound of the others voice. Sieben opened his eyes quickly and looked over at the other 'dragon that laid there on the floor. His red glowing eyes peered into the male's eyes and sudden rush of fear came from Sieben's eyes and to the other males as he continued to stare. Licks his lips slowly then walks over behide Ifita and places his arm about her waist gently then walks up along side her. Reading into the male's soul as he stands there quitely.
No, perhaps this hadn't been the right moment to intrude so gracefully into the room. Dyn shivered slightly appalled at the look on the beautiful females face. His mouth hardened slightly as he looked upon the male who now stood at the side of the female. The room seemed to shrink around him, cutting off his will to breathe. He stood up with as much dignity as he could muster, pulling roughly up from the cold stone floor. Dyn stood a head taller then the other male and the female. He wrapped the scarf about his neck cautiously, watching them with brave and weary eyes. What were they doing up here? Dyn already knew the answer to that, he chided himself silently. By the looks of it, when he had so clumsily fell on them they had been locked in a tight embrace. He couldn't help the cold envious and slightly embarrassed way he looked at both of them. He sighed heavily; at least his throat felt a little better, he thought with irony. He looked into the females eyes as she seemed to dominate the male only slightly, "peace, I am just a wanderer, I will not disturb you any longer with my presence." And you I, he thought with loneliness, with all your questions upon my already heavy burden. He clutched his backpack, looking at it with concealed anxiety. He turned away from them feeling rather flustered at there intent and questioning gazes, seeking the shadows of the hall with reluctance, looking towards the roaring blaze in the dusty grate, “I will leave you two here to finish!" He ended lamely and grinned as if in pain. "but please I need shelter for the night, the storm is so strong and I am so cold." he paused, "blankets, a room, and perhaps timber for a fire, and fresh water, and a roof over my head is all I ask of you." he shifted, his mind at peace and slightly drowsy from the fires glow. "My name is Dyn." he said quickly, "now where can I find these things?" he laughed softy in his tiredness, “and I am getting a head of myself, may I stay the night?" he smiled rather beguilingly. “I will be gone at first light,"
Sieben shook his head a bit then drew his arm back from her waist slowly and walked back over to the crystal that resided in the wall above lite candles. "You are more then welcome to stay here in the temple, but I'm not sure if there is anything that you requested. Perhaps you'll just have to look around for these things." Sieben reached his hand up brushed back a few strands of hair from his eyes as he looked to the crystal. Glares at it and the crystal begins to change in colour then the candle blew themselves out as it happened.
Ifita frowns slightly as the warmth of Sieban's arm left her waist. Slate orbs glittered curiously at the stranger as he requested a place to stay. Ears turned t'wards Sieban as he spoke to the stranger. He was very familuer in an odd sort of way. Like she knew him. Stepping forward a few paces, she nodded to him and a faint smile crossed her face. Spreading her arms out, she motioned to the place. Well, there isn't much here in the way of blankets and a bed but your welcome to stay here if you please.
