Timestamp: 45 Tria, 81382 Who: Vemul Lujtym Wearing: Denim shorts and a black t-shirt Vem had just gotten back from the Tmu Desert testing out a hovercraft that he had recently built. The test hadn't gone so well, in fact it had broken down in the middle of the desert. While there he met someone named Imu. It wasn't an entire loss, he learned what he should and should not do next time he was going out to test a machina of his. One was to never go out of sight of a town or city, next was to never go out into the middle of the desert. He was happy to be back home so that he could get to work on his project again. Vem's work ethic was high and though he liked doing tasks he much rather preferred to see them done. He went into his garage to start fixing the darn thing. It was really a frustrating thing to have happen, his own work broken down. The garage door was open so any passerby would be able to see him. Vem was now underneath the hovercraft and he was fixing up a few things that would help the engine keep it up in the air.
Who: Arie Von Trier Wearing: Mini skirt, tank top, and large belt hanging on her hips Arie walked down the sidewalk, habitually staring at her feet as she went along. She was wearing a pair of brand new sneakers of her own invention, though they weren't unique, just something she'd made on a whim, no special enchantments or anything, to see if she could. Arie was a bit quirky like that, doing things for no reason at all. It was just her nature. Her visit to Watani was similar, because it was for no particular purpose. As she walked, she noticed a garage door wide open and very inviting, upon one of the times she actually raised her head. She waited until closer to peep inside, pulling down her mini skirt because it was riding up her thin legs. Bumping and clinking noises brought her eyes to the source, a 'dragon underneath a sort of craft. She studied the scene for a moment, wondering if the craft was of his own design. She wasn't nearly as skilled as dragons who could create enormous functional things such as this one. "Hello there?"
Vem was a little suprised that someone had talked to him. "Hmmm?" He said as he scooted out from under the bottom of the craft. He noticed a thill "Hello there." He said in a friendly manner and he then went back underneath his craft before saying, "You do know it is concidered rude to just walk into someone's garage uninvited."
"Is it?" she asked, chuckling. "I'm afraid the atmosphere was too inviting for me to resist, so you'll have to forgive me." She studied his appearance while she looked him over, her eyes meeting his as he rolled from beneath the craft. He seemed to have a very bright coloration, as did she. She plopped down on the cement ground closer to his open garage, crossing her legs and fiddling with her belt nervously. "I'm Arie," she introduced herself, to the space craft mostly, but also the the arden beneath it. "This is some thing, did you create it?" she asked, finally unable to hold back her curiousity.
"I did. The thing still has a few problems that I need to work out. It seems to malfunction if you go out into a very hot climate. I need to figure out a better cooling system for it." Vem said as he continued to work with it. "And my name is Vemul."
"You really know your stuff." she said, impressed, because Arie's ability to build things hadn't reached such a large scale as a space craft. "I wouldn't know where to begin." From her seated position, she sort of laid down on her belly, or rather flopped over and looked at him under the vehicle with her bubbly eyes, smiling. "Sounds like you have your work cut out for you though, but I'm sure a 'dragon like you could handle it," she finished, studying the craft before looking back to him and watching what he was doing.
"I don't mind. It's something that I love to do and it keeps me occupied. Also I have been doing this kind of thing for a long time," Vem said. He was now using magika on a series of tubes underneath to create a cooling system. He hoped that this one would work so that it wouldn't malfunction anymore.
"You really do love doing this, don't you?" she asked, placing her head in her hands and looking up at him. Her eyes turned to what he was doing, slightly mesmerized. She couldn't help but be interested in what he was doing, because it was the same things she did on her own, only on an extremely smaller scale. "I like to make things and enchant them, so it is similar, only still much smaller than anything like this."
"Really? What sort of things do you make," Vem said curiously as he got out from under the craft. He then went over the the controls of the vehicle to test out his cooling system. Vem then had a thought, "Would you press that button there so that way I can check the coolant while it runs?"
"Nothing in particular," she said, smoothing her hair behind one ear, "I make whatever I see need for. Such as, a widget to make breakfast for you, or something else to help you get ready quicker," she said, gesturing broadly to show that the possibilities of what she made were endless. Her eyebrows knit and straightened in perfection in the same moment as he asked her a simple question. She understood in a few moments and leaned over, twisting her body so she could reach it better. "There," she finished, looking at him in wonder of what it was that she had done by pressing the button.
"Alright keep doing that. That will start up the engine, I'm going to be underneath this thing. If I yell out to you to stop the think press that button right next to it," Vem pointed to the other button. He then got under his hovercraft again.
Arie did as she was told. She pressed the button repeatedly, propping herself up on her other arm, which she also rested her chin on. Watching the arden for any reaction or sign of when to press the other button. She glanced back towards the button, to make sure of where it was and looked back to Vemul.
The engine roared to life on the 'craft. Vem was now looking for any flaws that he could see in his new coolant. He saw that it was running smoothly. Vem was now practically holding his breath, just waiting for his machina to fail. After several minutes it didn't fail at all. He was practically ready to jump out of his skin he was so excited. "Yes! It finally works!" He got out from underneath the 'craft. "Do you want to take a ride? Since you helped me, it only seems fair."
