<blockquote><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; letter-spacing: 1px; line-height: 12px;"><p align=justify>'Mansukh &ndash; Home,' she scrawled such with a writing utensil on a piece of paper that was lined neatly in the little notebook that she kept with her. Gemini was jotting down things again, sitting rather placidly on the wooden planks of the dock, her back turned to the world around her. Her long, brown bangs hung down in her face, glasses perched halfway towards the end of her muzzle as she scribbled in an almost illegible manuscript that could only be hers. She was not much for neat and perfect writing, just whatever didn't cause her digits to cramp up and pop nosily in a sickening way, of course, whatever was the fastest way possible. 'Today I saw Zodian, and he seems to have grown since I saw him over the summer. Soon Mother won't have any children left at home to keep her company while Father is gone all of the time,' and she paused, watching a couple of fish disturb the waters that were promptly at the end of the high dock, but she didn't get to see what they really looked like.

The Piers were quite a busy place during the day, but it was drawing to a close, the long rays of the sun had cast a vibrant design across the reflecting waters, the gradient palette was very pretty, and the last few local fishing boats were returning for the evening, hopefully with a decent catch aboard. The city behind her was still loud and making noise, which was the whole entire reason she had come to the docks at the time that she had, when most were packing up and returning to their little quaint houses to prepare supper. Gemini hesitated, but returned to the scriptures that she was writing, skimming over it briefly before continuing on the last of the light. 'I have a feeling that one of these days, just like she says, he's going to come back from that stupid little trip around the world that he took. He claimed to be going after beautiful fish to bring back and sell at a high price, but I want to believe that he's having an affair.' and she heard the footsteps of someone coming down the dock behind her, and she closed the book sharply.

Glancing behind her, she saw that it was nothing more than a stark white pendragon that was getting on a boathouse that was tied to a post, and she realized that she forgot people really lived along the docks too. They were serious fisherman and fisherwomen, at that. All sorts of Pendragons from various parts of the world came to live in Mansukh, just because of the competition of the fishing. To see the pretty fish and mingle in the nightlife that was in her opinion rivalry of some of the campus parties she had viewed at Janardan once or twice before. Wrinkling up her nose for a moment, Gemini inhaled the salty air, and sighed loudly, placing the notebook in the satchel she was prone to carrying on 'travel' and tucking the pen away in one of her pockets of the loose jeans she had on.

It was getting late &ndash; the least she could do was go home and see her family.</p></font></blockquote>

  2. Ooc Hope you don't mind me joining.

Clothing: Pair of tan pants, and a brown turtleneck, with matching brown boots.

Chzyuak walks towards the piers. She has been in the area once or twice before, and enjoys watching the people who are around here. She smiles as she walks. She hasn't been out of her dorm in a couple of days, and this was a nice change. She notices a female sitting on a bench writing, and how quickly he had shut her book when a Pendragon walked bye. She thinks to herself,<span style='color:gray'>It must be her personal diary.</span>

She takes a deep breath, and walks towards the female. She stops a little ways away so, that she doesn't invade her personal space. "Hi there. Who are you? I am Chzyuak."

Tesreail adjusted the strap that looped over his shoulder, his loaded backpack firm against his spine. In one hand was a small paper bag, one of the types fancier stores carried with paper-rope hands and colorful slogans emblazoned on the otherwise bland white surfaces. His good eye was scanning the surface of a receipt, one headed with the same slogans as the ones on his bag. Mentally he sighed as he tucked the slip of paper into one of the pockets on his khaki cargo's, wistfully wishing that his courses would stop requiring such expensive reading material. Still, visiting his adoptive mother's sister, his Aunt Quazar, had been a good excuse to take advantage of the slightly cheaper prices of the piers bookstores. He'd finished his errands for the day; mailing off post cards for his aunt, buying his new materials, dropping off some clothing at the local dry cleaners. In all, he was feeling rather accomplished and at ease; a feeling Tesreail did not often get to enjoy.

The Tessera sun was warm on his back, heating what parts of his gray tee were'nt hidden by his bag, and he sighed contentedly. The salt air was bitter to his tongue, but sweet in its own strange way, and as a result he found himself enjoying it immensly. The walkways were beautiful, full of happy 'dragons on vacation or natives just out to enjoy the acliment weather, and despite his normal fear of crowds, he liked this place.

In his mental museing, he failed to realize that he was straying near a pair of thill one in the process of putting something in her bag while the other introduced herself. He halted in his steps, clearing his throat slightly before speaking.

"Ah... Hi. My name's Tesreail... Hope I'm not intruding on anything." he was happy to find that his voice didn't waver and he hadn't broken out into a cold sweat. Socializing with Schism seemed to be paying off.

  4. <blockquote><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; letter-spacing: 1px; line-height: 12px;"><p align=justify>Gemini turned on her heel, banking on using the last of the sunlight that was there to help guide her from crashing into anything (given that she was clumsy in the dark) at least until she got home. While she knew the streets and such like the back of her hand, there was a sense of elation in her chest at the fact she was really familiar with something. An while she had only taken a few steps, she noticed that someone was watching her, but at first assumed it was just her mind being paranoid, and almost passed the other who had stopped on the pier, that was until they spoke to her.

A careful, warm smile slipped onto Gemini's face, and she put her hands in her pocket, knowing that they'd fidget otherwise. She also took notice that the 'dragon who'd introduced themselves as Chzyuak had wings, which was a deep-seated fascination for the wingless thill, and she solidified her smile a bit, speaking. <font color=#269546>"Hello,"</font> she said at first, but before she managed to give her name, someone else approached from down the way, and her attention switched over to the male thill that had joined them both, and she continued after his introduction. <font color=#269546>"I'm Gemini, and you weren't intruding on anything Tesreail."</font> she spoke politely, the smile still on her face. It wasn't too often that she was just approached out of the blue for conversation, but she knew how to handle it accordingly.

At least now, she'd have an excuse for not being right at home all of the time. She could say that she was out with some... friends, yes. <font color=#269546>"It seems like it's going to be a nice evening, doesn't it?"</font> she asked, looking between the two thills, her hand snaking out to adjust where her satchel was sitting on her shoulder. She didn't need it to slip off and fall in the water, it had been just a little be expensive, in her estimation. Setting most of her weight on one leg, Gemini let her eyes wander to the backdrop of the city that was there, eyeing the shadows that the sun was casting from building to building. She wondered if there were any sort of events left running from the early Tessera quarter, but such was kept to herself.</p></font></blockquote>

  5. Chzyuak smiled as she looked between the 2. "Yes, it does appear that it will be a nice evening." She turns and watches the skyline for a moment. She is feeling a bit uncomfortable, because all of a sudden she can't think of anything to say.

She stands there looking uncomfortable, and shuffles her feet. Usually she doesn't have this problem but, tonight she does. "So...."
