She looked around and smiled slightly. Is wasn't very crowded out side. She stepped over to a bench and plopped down. She watched the students walking to and from classes as the day passed on. As the afternoon got longer, she began to get sleepy, and her eyes began to droop. Her eye site became hazy as her eyes slowly closed and she fell into dream land.The day had been unusually for a spring day, hovering around 70 degrees. Lexxi had arrived at Janardan that morning and had wandered about the academy until she had found the front desk and had signed in. She received her dorm room key and had went up and left her bags there. She had then continued to wander about the school until she realized that it was nice out side and had come out to relax. As her body fell deeper into sleep, she started to fall over off of the bench.
Lorra Tyoko sat heavily on a bench and dropped all her books. Finally, the day was over. Tough lessons today. And detention (the teachers had no sense of humor) to top it off. She looked up to the bench opposite her; there was a thill asleep there. No, not fully asleep. She guessed that her loud dropping of her schoolthings had awakened her. She'd never seen the thill before. She was obviously new. Lorra thought that the other girl looked a bit older than her. She extended a hand to the thill in greeting. <span style='color:pink'>"Hi, I'm Lorra Tyoko."</span>
Lexxi woke up suddenly and promptly fell over. After picking herself off the ground and brushing herself off, she gripped Lorra's hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you, Lorra, I'm Lexxi Shyalca. I'm new here." She looked around and noticed that the sun and dipped lower and she wondered what time it was. She sat on the bench again and motioned for Lorra to sit next to her. "So... how long have you been here? At the academy, I mean."
<span style='color:pink'>"Since I was seven. That's,"</span> she counted on her fingers, <span style='color:pink'>"Six years. You're new here? I haven't seen you before."</span>
Lexxi smiled. "I wouldn't be surprised that you haven't seen me before. I arrived today." She looked around at the courtyard and smiled again. "Do you like it here? Is it nice?"
<span style='color:pink'>"Yeah, it's pretty good. Provided you don't run into trees and fall straight out of the sky midflight," </span>she said with a smile. "<span style='color:pink'>"Just don't be late for classes. The teachers can make life hard for you then."</span>
