Place: Dorm 2919 Weather: Hot and stuffy, a thunderstorm is brewing.. Private for A'delos and Phawkes Oh and the lyrics are from my own head... No touchy :P</td></tr></table> Ebony put on the air conditioning on freezing cold in an effort to cool down her dorm room. She'd already had a cold shower in an attempt to cool down. It hadn't worked. Even Resina, her trisk, had complained about the heat when she'd visited her in the avairy earlier in the afternoon. Resina was currently residing there in the infirmary section as Resina had eaten something that had disagreed with her. She had a habit of when Ebony let her fly of picking off the nearest rodent. This time however, the rodent was getting it's own back. Resina should, all being well, be allowed to return to Ebony tomorrow. Ebony herself was now standing in the kitchen, the radio playing in the background, and taking a pizza out of the oven and cutting it up onto a plate. She was having a small card game night with some guys she'd met. Her heels clicked on the wooden floor as she walked before finding some alcohol and setting it out along with glasses. "It's 11.00pm on a Thursday night and this is Janardan Radio on 97.6FM! It's time for Late Night Love and brought to you by me, Julian Graa, along with your favourite songs that you're requesting right now..." The radio said happily before playing a favourite song of Ebony's which she instictively began to sing along to.. Never want to miss a word you say Never want to miss your warm embrace Never want to miss seeing you nearby 'cos I want you by my side... I want to tell you how I feel I want to say a thousand things But my words, they falter everytime I see you 'cos I love you...
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Character: Del Clothing: Dark Grey Denim shorts and an open red button-up shirt</td></tr></table> Del ran down the corridor, jumping left and right to avoid the various people. He skidded to a stop, the dormitory numbers getting to what he was looking for. <span style='color:red'>2919</span> he said, knocking on the door and adjusting the shirt to keep him cool, and at the same time showing his lightly muscled torso more. He took it upon himself to open the door, he froze when he saw what his hostess was wearing. He couldn't help but stare. He shook his head quickly. <span style='color:red'>Watch it- your not single anymore!</span> he thought to himself furiously. He stepped into the room, shutting the door quietly behind him. He felt how much cooler the room was, compared to the halls- but still not quite comfortable. He walked quietly up behind Ebony leaning to the side to study her bottom carefully. he stepped to the left a bit, and made himself known.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td> Character: Chiara Clothing: Black heeled sandals, black capri jeans and a blood red tank top. </td></tr></table> Chiara walked down the hall, heels clicking and tail swishing. She didn't wear too much makeup, just some black eyeliner and eye shadow. Her usual innocent orbs now seemed much more thinned out, but seemingly hiding something. Something deeper than surface scars. Shaking her head, she let the though drift from her mind, now was not the time to think of the past, but to enjoy the night. Hopefully get some much needed alcohol as she had run out in her last escapade. Her dorm was far from here, at least 1500 doors down. God, wouldnÂ’t be any easy place to go to every nightÂ… Why was she here again? Oh rightÂ… Cards. She couldnÂ’t even play cards, go fish, perhaps. Maybe she did in a past life? Who knows. If they were playing with moneyÂ… Damn, sheÂ’d be broke first round! Her pace slowed down as she began to look at the door numbers, the femme had said it was around here somewhere... 2909? 2911? It was one of these doorsÂ… 2919! That was it. As she cleared her throat, she rapped her knuckles on the door a few times and waited patiently to be invited in. A few questions came to mindÂ… Who was going to be there? Hope it wasnÂ’tÂ… Ehm. Naw. ItÂ’ll be fine. Just donÂ’t bring it up, and keep your coolÂ…
Ebony didn't notice Del's entrance into her room, nor him standing behind her. She just kept on singing along to the radio I'd do anything to keep you close I'd kill just to keep you close I never want to lose you, ever 'cos I love you and will do all my life... It was at that exact moment that she caught sight of the male standing besides her and he made her jump startled. Oh! Damn you Del! You scared me! She said giggling and slyly touching his arm. She'd met him in Elementary Sorcery class and they'd hit off right away. She was wearing a smile from ear to ear and her eyes sparkled in the dim light of the room. But anyway, hi and so glad you could make it. Feel free to help yourself to food and drink. Got all sorts here. There was a soft knock at the door and this time, Ebony actually heard it. Come in, it's open! She called happily towards the door before looking back to Del. You know, you scrub up pretty well if you don't mind me saying She said cheekily, still grinning widely
He was a bit confused, now. He felt her lightly touch his arm, and he felt a bit strange- was she flirting with him? He was more confused when she was talking- he didn't understand what she was saying, exactly- <span style='color:red'>what exactly do you mean by 'scrub up'?</span> he said smoothly, looking at her questioningly for a second, before walking over and opening the door.
Alexis let out a bit of a relieved sigh; she thought Ebony had forgotten about her! When she heard her call, she immediately put her hand on the handle, but a male got to it first from the other side. A little shocked, she fell forward a bit, and cursed under her breath. Great entrance there genius. Rolling her eyes, she quickly put a fake smile on and waved to Ebony. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Hey. Did I miss anything?"</span> She tried acting as calm as she could, but her cheeks were still a little flustered from her entrance. See this is what I need... Surrounded byÂ… 'dragons and hopefully alcohol. Ah... That reminds me. Adjusting the strap of her shirt, she walked right past the man at the door and straight to Ebony. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"You look very good tonight. And judging by the looks he's giving you, he seems to agree."</span> She licked her lips, giving them a glossy wet look, and then searched around the room. Beer.. Vodka.. Anything..
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry for the wait you two. Damn exam prep and exams themselves. x.x</td></tr></table> Ebony giggled at Del's confusion over her choice of words. She hunted in a drawer for a corkscrew and finding one, opened a bottle of deep red wine and poured some into a glass. I meant being smart. Dressing up. Sometimes, the language I used to use at my old home slips back into my speech even though I've lived here for a while now. Seeing Alexis she grinned widely at her. Hey Alexis! Nah, you didn't miss anything yet. Not even quite ready myself! She said laughing. At her comment about Ebony's choice of clothes, Ebony blushed a little. Why thanks Alexis! You don't look so bad yourself! I love that top, it's gorgeous! Oh have you two met before? Alexis, Del. Del, Alexis. Ebony said, her eyes locking with Del's in a seductive and yet very subtle way. So, feel free to take alcohol and food. There's plenty of it!
<span style='color:red'>Hey...</span> Del said half-heartedly at the introduction, his left ear twitching <span style='color:red'>I don't mean to disappoint anyone...</span> Del spoke slowly, <span style='color:red'>But I'm not single.</span> he finished firmly, breaking eye contact quickly. he interested himself on the bottle in Ebony's hands, <span style='color:red'>What exactly is that...?</span> he inquired.
Chiara wiggled her fingers in a sign of hello. With a grin she looks up and down Del, sizing him up more than anything else. Making a little nod she turns her attention towards the wine. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Ooh. Mind pouring me a glass? God knows I could use one."</span> Since the ordeal that happened in her bedroom, she had promised to cut back on some alcohol, or all if she remembered correctly. But oh well, tonight was a reprise and she wasn't going to get drunk and get a hangover again. At least she hoped not. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Oh it was just something I kind of threw on, couldn't really remember what I wore when I go out."</span> Her violet orbs darted back towards Del. Not single? Oh well, his loss. Being single is the best thing that can happen to some one.. <span style='color:#3399FF'>"Oh well, guess we actually have to play cards now."</span>
