<span style='color:teal'>"So class, who can tell me what this is?" Amdemaaj Nasul held up a component to a standard teleport gun.</span>

"That's the machina power source." One student answered.

<span style='color:teal'>"Right. We will be having a quiz on the parts of it tomorrow, so take it apart today and study it's inner workings."</span>

The students each grabbed one and began working on it at their tables.

<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj felt proud of the fact he had helped invent the tool they were now studying.</span>

  2. Character: Rujiem Davlok

Rujiem wandered down the corridors look for the class room, normally he would just teleport yet the stupid hall monitor had taken his teleportation device. Rujiem was disgusted at the sheer ignorance off the little thill, one day he might just be transportation minister and then they would be sorry. All of them, every single person who had picked on him, even the hall monitors. In fact especially the hall monitor.

He came to a door that sort of look familiar, he never really used doors so it was a little odd. He looked inside to see a room full of people demolishing one of his inventions in the name of experimenting. He would have been angry if he hadnÂ’t seen Amdemaaj teaching them about it. That he didnÂ’t mind.

Rujiem didnÂ’t know whether to knock and go in or just wait until the class was finished yet he decided on the latter. He wasnÂ’t to comfortable with a room on young crazy thills all staring at him.

  3. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj saw a face at the door of the class, and knew Rujiem had arrived.

"Okay class, use the bins provided up front and bring me the guns. Once you've done that, we're done for the day."</span>

The students began putting all of the pieces of the gun into the bins and started heading for the door.

<span style='color:teal'>After they had left, Amdemaaj began reconstructing the teleport guns and turned to the door. Smirking, he said, "It's safe to come out now Rujiem."</span>

  4. Rujiem had stood aside as the legion of thills had all come charging out in desperation to go somewhere. He didnÂ’t like young people much, he didnÂ’t like how they thought they knew everything and such, not to mention they could be quite intimidating.

He looked back at the door and heard Amdemaaj beckoning him inside, Rujiem wandered in and smiled at his work college. He was quite happy with the idea of working on something new and exciting, especially as something action packed as this.

"<span style='color:blue'> Hello, good to see you again Amdemaaj. So we are working towards a missile defence system right.</span>" He said curiously, he was quite eager to start blowing stuff up. Not to mention laser physics was quite extraordinary.

  5. <span style='color:teal'>"I've been thinking about it for a while now, We can start now if you want to come to the actual workshop, this is just the learning classroom." Amdemaaj led the way to the workshop he had grown to love more than his own home, "The class isn't going to be working here for a few months so we don't have to worry about them touching anything."

"Okay, so here's what I was thinking. Since it's going to have to be able to shoot into the air or space, it'll need to be big, so we may need to big parts of it in here, then construct it outside."</span>

  6. Rujiem nodded in satisfaction when he heard the class of terrors was going to be out of the picture for quite a while. It made him much more realized knowing he wouldnÂ’t have to lock everything and put the child locks on, they always confused him. Yet Rujiems mind was stuck on this idea of blowing things up with a laser, it would need to be of sufficient energy to cut through the metal of the missile and detonate it.

"yes but it wont need to shoot into space, we can stick it onto a space ship for that. First thatÂ’s getting working here, we can test it on steel sheets or something." he said while his mind was working over his equations and theories. If it worked it could cut through several missiles at once, even homing missiles would be shot down.

"So how much have you done so far then" He asked curiously, this would be the single biggest project he had ever worked on.

  7. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj smiled with pride as he grabbed his keys and unlocked his small office. Opening a cabnet he brought back a "paper bazooka". He popped the top off and poured several blueprints onto one of the worktables.

It looked like an enlarged M4 just without the handle, butt, nor trigger on the top, back or bottom of it. The gratted part at the front had vents for all the heat the defensive weapon would produce. The blue prints were so detailed Amdemaaj had to use a whole other sheet for ever layer of mechanics inside of it.

"What do you think? OH, and it need's a name. You do the honours."</span>

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>If the description isn't clear I can make a picture of it for you.</td></tr></table>

  8. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Nah its ok, i know what an M4 looks like</td></tr></table>

Rujeim looked over the blue prints very carefully, studying the workings of the thing. He was quite amazed at how far he had got as his attention actually turned to the weapon its self. Only one question was in his mind and it was to big a question not to ask, his heart was hammering with excitement.

"Have you got it working yet" He asked, his voice barely containing all the excitement he had for this new experiment. the Idea that this could destroy missiles yet could also be used as an offensive weapon was too good to be true. The idea that one of his inventions would be on ships over the world was like a dream to him.

Yet however he would also be slightly disappointed if it was already fully working, it would basically mean he had nothing to do with its inventions so he secretly hoped it was shooting a little to the left or something else negative.

  9. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj laughed, "It's not even started, these are just the outline for it, see here," Amdemaaj pointed at the centr of the page of the innermost blueprint, "Nothing. there."</span>

  10. Ruijem tried to hid his embarrassment yet he couldnÂ’t help it, he must have got so caught up in this idea of destruction that he got confused. He loved the idea of that power, that you could destroy something if you so chose. It appealed to him so much yet he had to focus, he turned his attention the incomplete blueprints and began working ideas over in his head.

"I supposed we could use a machina power source or battery, either works well enough. Then we need a series of refractors to channel it and focus it into a beam. Then a crystal to project the beam out as a sufficient velocity. " he said while stroking his chin with one hand methodically.

He had already gone through a few ideas in his head but this one seemed to work the best, but their were a few specifics that he needed to work through.

"Oh yeah just a specific the crystal should be red. And we might need a fairly big one too, like first sized. Also we need to chose the size of the barrel opening." he said slightly more rushed than normal, he was starting to get into he swing of things.

  11. <span style='color:teal'>"If the military accepts our idea then the power source would be from within the ships own machina generator. So we'd need to just have a way to channel an outside power source into the gun." Amdemaaj rested his elbow on the table and lay his chin on his hand, "That size of crystal will take a few days to order."</span>

  12. Rujiem nodded at their evaluation of the project, it seemed so of their hardest parts were already taken care of. Yet the crystal part was rather annoying though with out it or something to replace it they wouldnÂ’t be able to make the gun. he stood their resting too of his arms on the table while still stroking his chin with his other hand.

"Well we are going to need some sort of power source, to make sure it works and such. Yet without that crystal we are a little stuck. " He said with mild frustration filling his voice, he would have liked to at least made a start on it today.

  13. <span style='color:green'>"Well, we can start building alternitive power source now."

Amdemaaj begain drawing some blue prints for a large machina power source.

"I'll order the battery today, so we should have this finished by then. Plus we need to make the frame of the gun. I don't even have any blueprints for the inerds of the gun, so maybe you could start working on those while I start making some molds for the pieces of the outside of the gun."

Amdemaaj grabbed a piece of scrap paper and wrote this on it:

    <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>1) Build outside shell of weapon - Amdemaaj
    2) Build temporaty power source
    3) Design components for the guns inner workings - Rujiem
    4) Build components for the guns inner workings
    5) Install parts into built shell
    6) Test and fine tune weapon</td></tr></table></span>

  14. Rujiem grinned to him self contently as he extracted his drawing equipment from his coat. His many hands worked busily getting the ruler, fine point pencils and protractor and compass. He sat down at one of the desks with a sheet of paper in from of him, yet keeping in mind the shell drawings since it would have to fit in there after all.

"Yes thatÂ’s ok then, IÂ’m not good with metal craft" he said as he began to sketch the refractors in series.

He was also trying to make it compact as possible since if it was small then more could be fitted onto a ship for increased defence. Yet he wasnÂ’t quite sure how to draw it since he didnÂ’t know what the power source would look or its size.

  15. <span style='color:teal'>"Okay for the alternate power, make an input in the back of it. That would be the safest place to have it on a ship, so we're designing it, they can make it work for them." Amdemaaj grinned.

He finished the first mold and began melting the some Lunomium.

"This stuff takes forever to melt."</span>

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>Lunomium is a very strong very light metal with a very high melting temperature. That's needed for the weapon, since laser IS heat. ^^</td></tr></table>

  16. Rujiem nodded with the extra information implanted into his brain, he immediately began to add a space for where the implants would go that would make it universally adaptable. He wanted this to make him money as well, as much as he liked things he didnÂ’t want to work for ever. His dream was to own a villa some where high in the hills and watched the sun set every day, the golden shine spreading though the sky. He wanted his own little patch of peace some where.

"Of course, are you going to start building the temporal power source then while that melts." He asked somewhat curiously while he devoted the rest of his attentions to his work.

He began to systematically draw out his diagram with detailed measurements of how the parts would align and fix up. He wanted this piece of equipment to be what he was remembered for, like his signature on the modern world. Although ethically it was a bit grim, money watered down morals somewhat.

  17. <span style='color:teal'>"Not yet, will that metal melts and pours into that mold, I'm going to start on the rest of the mold. I've draw them all out here, I have 33 more to go."

Amdemaaj continued to make molds and fill them with liquid Lunomium.

By 12:00 am he had finally finished all the molds, and had filled them with liquid metal.

"Now they just have to cool, but I think we can call it a day. Meet me outside the other classroom after school tomorrow."</span>

  18. Rejuiem stood up and stretched his achy body with a cat like yawn, he flexed his hand trying to shake away the pains. HE looked down at his days work and smiled in satisfaction. He had carefully dawn a scale drawing of the inner workings of the gun. Everything was taken into consideration, even the parts they didnÂ’t have.

"Yes ok then, I feel like some rest now anyway." He said as he gave the moulds and metal another look.

He began to walk over and fetch his over coat before getting ready to head out the door. "See you next time tomorrow then" he said as he smiled and began to walk out.

  19. "Tomorrow." Amdemaaj comformed.

    ---OMGZ!!!! ITS TOMORROWXOR!!! ---

<span style='color:teal'>"That's all for today class. Do your homework or I'll send Hythine after you."</span>

Hythine, his android like partner, smiled and waved at the class.

After the class left, Hythine returned to his storage unit.

<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj headed for the door, and waited for Rujiem.

He looked down the hallway at the metalwork room, in anticipation.</span>

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>Hythine is a pendragon who's arms and legs have been replaced with robotic parts. His organs are also replaced. I'm probably going to make an actual character profile for him, but for now, he's just an NPC.</td></tr></table>

  20. Rujiem wandered down the corridor same as yesterday yet this time with out the same grudge against the hall monitors. He had hid his personal teleportet where they couldnÂ’t find yet it also meant he couldnÂ’t use it. Still he wandered down slowly since he didnÂ’t want to be attack by a horde of young thills. He was always nervous around them.

He walked up to the metal work room door and waiting quietly for Amdemaaj to finish with his mob.

He nervously clicked his fingers together on all four hands, he wanted to get to work really. He didnÂ’t like things that involved people, or talking.
