Character Information;; Name; Kadai (Cube) Susaki Age; 23 Clothing; Cube is wearing a long cloak made of a material called Telbajruma. The entire cloak is black, covered in ancient runes of silver. Other; Cube will not respond to anything other than Cube. Only his closest friends may call him Kadai (his real name). He is crude and has a dark sence of humour. He is skilled in the art of lock picking and has some musical talent. Setting Information;; Where; Rlukcsyysh, a small pub in a back alley of the Black Market. When; 31, Mia, 81379 Why; To welcome back Cube from his rest as with my other characters during my brief "away" period. Cube sat at a table in the dark musky pub that was the Rlukcsyysh. He smirked. This place was filthy. A small rodent scurried across the floor, running up the side of the grime covered bar counter. He took a swig of his drink slamming it back down on the table when he had his fill. It had been a while since he had a lady of any sort. He was bored with his life. It had gotten rather dull since the members of ALT's had disbanded some time ago. He missed them, he missed his past lady friend as well. He leaned over the small table, thinking.
Open palmed hand pushed open the taverns door, and a form stepped in to the dimly lit room. Scents of smoke and alcohol filled her nostrils and burned at her eyes for a few seconds. Been a few years since she had stepped in to this place, she had at one point totally forgotten it ever existed. Slung over slender shoulder was a large sack; it was her last night in town, headed towards the school at dawn. All of her childhood friends had decided they had better things to go and do on this night then wish her off. Even her own parents had just slipped her some spare cash before taking off for the weekend. She didnÂ’t mind, who needed them any way. Night alone at the pub was what she needed; she highly doubted they allowed this kind of stuff at that school she was headed to. She was glad to be going though, Dhim was her birthplace but she always knew she deserved better, a lot better then her parents life that was for sure. Hidden behind dark navy glasses, the girls optics took a survey of the patrons, no one really out of the ordinary, certainly no one to be immediately cautious about, everyone seemed to wrapped up in there drink to even notice a new comer to their space. With a thud she threw her stuff on to a bench, after staring at it for a couple of seconds trying to remember if she had packed anything breakable that might not have survived the crash landing. When of to much importance came to mind she simply shrugged and sat down across from it. It would have to do as her companion tonight, that and maybe a couple drinks before heading off. As soon as she had sat she stood up again wandering over to the bar, asking the attendant for a strong drink, Hennassay knew that it was a long journey ahead of her and that this would be her last for a long peroid of time.
The Pub door eased open, and a heavy figure meandered in. He was wearing nothing but a pair of jeans an a T-shirt, his fur and eyes were completely white. He wasn't in the mood for anything particular, but he was only sort of a casual drinker anyways. Besides, he had just stolen a new body, and the drink always tasted better when it ran across living taste buds. Maybe I'll keep this body alive for a bit... He thought to himself as he sat down a table not far from both Cube and Hennassay and ordered a drink with some fancy name he remembered from long ago. He didn't have a clue if the Bartender even knew about the old earthling drink. He had been all over today, and this special drink was something to celebrate his finished search for a new host... "Hey Tender, would you be so kind as to start me a tab and to add a 'Typhoon' to it? Thanks" He yawned and leaned back in his chair, wondering what the rest of his team was doing right now, if they had already found suitable host bodies...
Slight attention was drawn to the new figure that hand entered, but she paid no attention. First thing she hade learned when she started going in to bars like this, was u leave them alone the leave you alone. She took a hold of a large class filled to the brim with JD and cola ((ooc; I just had to put that in thereÂ…*drools*)) Carefully only spilling a few times, only once splattering on her jeans she made her way back to the table her and her duffle bag date were sitting at. It had remained undisturbed as she known it would. Nothing in there had any value to it any way, mostly torn up clothes that would only fit her correctly. She smiled at it and did a fake cheers before talking a large swig, letting the fluid rush down her esophagus. Wow that was strong she said sitting up quickly not to choke. Once normal breathing returned she took another large drink, this one going down better then the first. She brushed some hair from her face, removing the few pieces that always make it in to the corners of her mouth. She slowly removed her glasses, having grown accustom to them and totally forgetting that it must look rather weird to be wearing them in this dimly lit place. She rubbed at them for a bit, careful not to disturb any of the carefully placed eyeliner she had or other make up that she had been wearing. After another sip of her beverage she looked around the bar for some form of clock, noticing one on the wall. Damn to early to leave or even change. She thought turning back slouching in her chair studying her bag.
Cube's ears perked up at the sound of pendragons entering. He turned his head to notice a beautiful female carrying a rather large bag. He grinned. Time to make a move, hopefully she didn't have a boyfriend, he could be quite, charming, on first meetings. He walked over to her and placed his hand on the table, kneeling slightly. "Hello there, I'm Kadai" he said, deciding it would be much better to use his real name, then the one given on the streets, which also oozes with the meaning of a drug dealer. Maybe it was time to clean up his ways. He almost laughed out loud. Hell no. He loved his life, more than anything in the world. He stuck out his hand in a slight effort to impress the girl. "Can I buy you a drink?" he asked, not noticing she already had one.
Alan laughed inwardly, ahh mortal pleasures... Maybe he could amuse himself for a little while at least... He waltzed over to the table, gently setting a duplicate of her drink in front of her. "Bit late..." He muttered, and sat down in a chair between the two. "Nice night isn't it?" He asked her, totally ignoring the other, trying not to burst out laughing as he was in his mind...
This was a first; Hennassey was taken back and looked from one male to the other. She smiled as she studied both of them taking a sip of her refreshed beverage, starting to feel the effects what was in the cup. The night is young. And I am Hennassey, and I guess I have a drink for the moment, but I wouldnÂ’t be going anywhere to quickly. She plays with the rim of the cup before taking another taste of the drink. Maybe tonight would be as boring as she had though. So what are two strapping young males like yourself doing out on a night like tonight?
Cube was angry. He was laughing at him. Well the joke was on him, Cube slightly leaned over and stole his money. Foolish one, never mess with a thief. It was his job. He smiled. "Just, having a few drinks ..." he said. He lied. He was here on a mission from his boss to steal a large sum of money from the back room. It would be rather easy to claim, he had been instructed to kill anyone who stood in his way. He bent over and smiled, looking at the other male pendragon. "Here, you dropped this ..." he said handing over the money, he winked.
Henna studied the male that had first introduced himself. He was cunning and quick, never hesitated or missed a move. He must have had a hidden agenda; most people around these parts were never just simply out for a drink. He caught her attention though, wondering what might be going down at this tiny pub. Nothing around the bar looked to hold any significant value to it, might be some cash somewhere. Or maybe he was one of those organ harvesting thiefÂ’s she had heard about from her friends. They steal kidneys and what not and sell them for impressive amounts of money. What ever he was doing Hennassey wanted to make sure she was there to watch it all unfold. She wasnÂ’t scared of what he might do, she could hold her own if thatÂ’s what it came down to. Kadia didnÂ’t look to threatening; then again no one does after your second drink. Empty glass was bought back down and set beside its empty partner, as she continued to study the two males. No Kadia she could handle, but if the white one got after her it might be a whole new ball game. She just smiled and listened to the two, no point in leaving yet the party was just getting started.
Sanders was interested. This young one was crafty, all right. He reached over and ran a hand in front of cube's face. He held it close to his own, then turned it over. "I think you dropped a memory..." He said and blew it at Cube, watching it absorb back into his head to rejoin his mind. He winked back at Cube, and ordered another Typhoon for himself, enjoying the events unfolding already. He sat forward clasping his hands together, and narrowed his pure white eyes. "So what are you both truly out here for?" He asked to nobody in particular, and took a sip of his new Typhoon, enjoying the tingle as it ran down. He already knew, of course, but it would start a conversation, to move things along. He made a point not to drink to much, or his body would die, it already had started off with a weak liver, the teen was a party type all right...
[OOC]alright so grammer n spelling might not be the best in this next post, at school n supposed to be learning about i am slowly killing myself by not drinking 30 gallons of water a day, but an ways BIC-- Henna looked at the totally white one, not 100% sure what the first comment ment but the second one was clear as glass. Her vission was starting to get a little shakey and her movement become some what fluid and un controlled. But so far she was still probely good, but time for a little break. I am jsut having myself a fairwell party here, well me and date there She motioned to her bag with a smile, while shifting in her seat. She finally stopped when she found a position where she felt most stable. She would be more then fine if she could just find a way to make the world stop moving
Cube laughed. Being an ass must run in his family. He could always call in a favor from Baal, who he had saved, quite some time ago. The prince of darkness could teach this punk a lesson. He would ignore it for now. "So, tell me about yourself?" he said intrigued by her bag. He looked at his watch. Almost 11:59 AM, he would have one minute to perform his operation. He sighed. He would have to leave the beautiful lass.
Not much to tell really finally saved enough cash to get up to enroll in school. I get to see a place not based around crime n corruption, like a really nice long vacation. Your turn. She leaned back in her chair, and began fiddling with the rim of the class. She could tell he was growing anxious about something, but what she couldnÂ’t tell yet. She figured sheÂ’d stay around let the effects of her elixir wear off then head of to school. They werenÂ’t expecting here to be any where till tomorrow evening, and if she moved quickly she could make it half the normal time.
Sanders grinned. She WAS young... "I'm a bricklayer from around here, 9:00 to 7:00, every day..." He ran through the lie so easily he almost scolded himself. He polished off the rest of his Typhoon, still amazed that they knew of the exotic drink, and leaned back, relaxing thoroughly. You might wanna hurry up or you'll miss your curfew... He added to Cube, through his mind, and grinned at him, fully aware of what he was here to do. He loved his afterlife...
Just like my father is a butcher? Yah everyone does have their day job, but who really gets any where with those these days. She knew this place wasnÂ’t right, no matter how many people tried to it up. The truth was the 9 to 5 place Bhim had was nothing compared to the behind the scenes stuff that was always happening. She smiled and looked from one of the males to the other. A tension was growing between them she could tell, it was there from the very beginning, she never understood why men liked to fight so much. Must be in there genes or something. She just figured she would ignore it until something really happened. eyes wandered to the clock behind the bar, shuld be going to get changed soon. With a sigh she figured she would jstu wait till she could make it across the floor with out stumbeling.
Cube smiled. "I have my own business, I err... am a thief ..." he said finally admiting his choice of work. "Actually my boss is wanting me to do something right about now, so I need to go, but i'll be back, M'kay?" he said. This was as polite as he has ever been, to anyone. Nevermind a lady. He reached into his bag and pulled out a gem of some sort, polished and made of ruby. "Here, you can have this ..." he said walking away. He turned around to the other male and raised his hands to his eyes. I'm watching you ... The bar tender got down to get a drink. Cube jumped up into the air landing on the table, aware that the female, the other male were the only other two people in the bar. This was too easy. He drew a strange knife from his pocket and reached the locked door, he picked it open in less than a second. Inside was another door, locked in steel. Same thing. Picked it in less than a second. He was speeding up now, super fast, his training had done him well. He finally hit the secure room, filled with large amounts of gems, runes and money. He placed the ones his boss wanted in his bag, slung over his shoulder. He took a few for himself and turned. A camera was watching him. "Oh shit ..." he said. Hello, Cube, or Kadai ... Cube flinched. His real name. He hated it. This entire bar will self destruct in 5 ... 4 ... He speed up and picked up the female, ushering the male out. 3 ... He raced out of the bar, the female on his back. He hoped the male and the others made it out in time. 2 ... Across the street, already. He looked around for the male, hoping he was fine. 1 ... It was followed by a large explosion, destroying the bar completely. He placed the female down. "Are you ok?" he asked. That damn mob had set up a trap. They would be after him now that he had stolen thier runes.
Sanders was bored about the whole thing. he emerged from the smoldering wreck, his body charred and smoking. "Fuck kid, did you have to kill my brand new body?" Sanders was annoyed by this, it was brand new, and now it was dead. He quickly repaired it, but dead was dead, he wouldn't get a new body till the next ritual. He leaned against a lamp post, pouting and cursing under his breath at Cube...
Henna had just gotten a look at her pretty new jewel and the next thing she knew she had been slung over a shoulder and carried out like a bag. I think I am all right. I do believe my legs work also, I am not a sack of potatoes. Then it hit her, her bag was still in the smoldering bar. Suddenly the pretty jewel in her hand was the furthest thing from her mind, she didnÂ’t care that she had almost been killed, and that a chunk of her tail fun has been charred. All her creations were in that bag, here whole portfolio. It was what she needed to get in to the school, and now it was gone. Henna let out a sad breath n held her head, no longer worrying about being over some strangers shoulder. All her hard work was gone, it was fait she was going to be stuck here for ever.
Cube ignored the cursing man and looked into her eyes. "Why are you upset?" he asked. His eyes almost tearing. Tearing? This was not Cube, the street tough thief. He was really upset this time though. There was something about her he liked and to see her upset was painful. "That gem is not ordinary, in times of trouble it can be used to warp back in time for a brief period ..." he explained.
Optics moved from the compassionate cubes face down tow the gem. See that bag was filled with my work. I am a fashion designer and all my work had been in that bag. I head headed off in the morning to try to get in to a school, and going back in time? Yes it was sort of an a.d.d moment but those words gave her even the tiny bit of hope, enough to take the sadden look off her face. She looked up at the tearing Cube realizing, he had a single tear running down his cheek. She whipped it away with her thumb I think itÂ’s the damsel in distressÂ’s job to be the first one to cry. But any ways how does it work She was teasing him a bit, realizing she was flirting moments after she had almost been blown up here eyes were focused back on the jewel wondering how such a small piece of rock could bring back her lively hood
