<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I actually wanted to RP with her younger sister. But it's okay. Anything suits me ^^. </td></tr></table> Under a rather large tree, sat a white femme toying with a leaf she'd just plucked from one of the many plants. Her nose was twitching up, down, up, down, trying to scent any danger that would come from nearby. But she could scent none. She sat down under that tree with a little sigh. It's been long since she'd traveled places. This was a new place she'd discovered and didn't mind getting lost in it as long as it had food and water. So far, this was the best place. The place was a little too quiet though. She tucked her wings close to her body, made herself comfortable, took in a breath, and began to sing what her mother used to sing to her. Her voice came out smooth and clarity was there. But also, any professional would tell that she needed just a little bit more work and then she would be very good. <span style='color:white'>They say what they want to say But you'll always know where your roots are They would not want you to stay And you know better places are far But don't be afraid Time will slowly reward you Be not sad Your beliefs are true...</span> And she kept singing, oblivious to any creature that might be listening to her. A trisk that watched her with it's innocent eyes, for example. Or the small fluffy thing that just ran by. Also unknown to her, another pendragon.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Hishema? Trust me, that wouldn't have worked. She was drawn to it, almost like a trance until she tripped on a root and fell. She landed on her hands, she whinced at the pain and looked up to see the source of the voice.</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry bout the short post, lol.</td></tr></table>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Seems I made a mistake. Lol I mean her brother, Pumeal, sorries! Well it's okay about the short post. Sometimes I get like that too.</td></tr></table> There was an abrupt stop to the singing. A flick of the ear and turning of the head. Kutz was aware now that she wasn't alone. She sat up straight, then stood up, searching for the source of noise she had heard. Her eyes, which became doe eyed with a hint of fear in them, searched the area. Her ears were standing tall and was moving independantly in different directions, trying to catch the slightest sound. What was it? A beast? A predator or was it just a harmless jungle animal? And then she saw something... a lump. She crouched behind the tree, trying to remain unseen but yet could see what the lump is. If it were a beast, she would run away. But if it isn't and it's hurt, she would help.
<span style='color:blue'>Tucoju whinced in pin as she stood back up, "Oww...why do they always have to put those roots in the way." Tucoju wondered where the singing had gone, and wandered in the clearing. She sat back down and noticed her leg was bleeding. She quickly lifted her skirt to her knees so she could see the wound. Wasn't anything serious so she just wiped it off. Her attention returned to the missing singer, "Hello? Is anybody here? I just wanted to listen to your singing. I didn't mean to scare you."</span>
A voice. A voice had sounded out. Kutz slowly came out from her hiding spot. Cautiously, she approached the stranger. It was a pendragon, just like her. She almost laughed out loud at her silliness. But, it's still good to be aware, isn't it? <span style='color:white'>Who are you?</span> she curiously asked as she put out a hand to help the stranger up. Then she blushed as she thought that her singing had been overheard. <span style='color:white'>You were listening to my singing?</span>
<span style='color:blue'>"My name is Tucoju Uej." She got up with Kutz's help and said, "I heard something so beautiful I felt drawn to it. You have a wonderful voice. If you don't mind, may I stay and listen to you for a while?"</span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>I FOUND IT!!! I'm so sorry. There wasn't a notification indicating that you posted. And I knew that there was one thread where I was supposed to post, but couldn't think of one... until you pmed me. Next time, just scream at me. :)</td></tr></table> <span style='color:white'>How long have you been listening?</span> she asked, looking at the stranger. Her cheeks began to feel hot as she thought of someone listening to her. <span style='color:white'>Is someone else with you?</span> she asked, peering over Tocuju. She hope, however, that she had come alone. Then she scanned Tocuju for any fresh injuries from her trip.
<span style='color:blue'>"Not long...but you sound so beautifully," Tucoju rubbed her foot. "No I'm alone." She looked at the 'dragon, "If.....if it's not too much to ask....could you keep singing? I've never heard anything so beautiful in my life."</span>
She remembered when her relatives would urge her to sing again, and again, and again. They never got tired of her voice. That was a very long time ago, a memory that was begining to fade, like when she took her first steps. She thought she wouldn't be hearing those words again. But here she was, standing in front of a pendragon she barely knew, and being asked to sing again. But that confidence where she longed to sing again for her audience was so long gone. Like the memory that was begining to fade, so was her confidence. <span style='color:white'>I-I'm really sorry,</span> she said, her eyes cast down. She no longer blushed and her face was unreadable. <span style='color:white'>Don't get me wrong, it isn't much of you to ask, but...</span> Where can she began? How can she explain? It's not like she understand it herself either. After all, she's naive and just 15. She looked back up at the stranger, expecting her to be offended.
<span style='color:blue'>Tucoju couldn't help but peek into the mind of the confused girl, "It's ok, if you don't want to that's fine. But you know, I'm sure some happy memories would be made if you sung for someone you didn't know." She hinted silently at the memory of her childhood.</span>
The white femme gave Tucoju another puzzled glance. It was as if she read her mind. But that couldn't be possible, right? <span style='color:white'>Okay,</span> she said uncertaintly. <span style='color:white'>I guess it's no harm to try.</span> She shifted her feet nervously and then took few deep breaths. Gees, she needed to get over this! <span style='color:white'>Your smile is something you can't hide It's the key to people's heart Your beauty does not lie outside It is the inside part Keep this piece of advice So you do not lose your beauty That brightens someone's day The gift given to you for eternity</span> Kutz would've went on if not for her lack of breath. The song requires much voice control and she found that she could only go until here. Her ears pinned to her cranium in a sad way. But a little part was pleased as she noted, subconciusly, she improved.
<span style='color:blue'>The song filled Tucoju with joy, the 'dragons voice was so beautiful she felt like she was about to fall asleep. Tucoju smiled, "That was wonderful."</span>
<span style='color:white'>Erm, okay.</span> Kutz said, uncertaintly, wondering if the stranger was okay. <span style='color:white'>What are you doing in the jungle? Not many come here.</span> she asked as she looked around for something to eat. Her stomach was growling and a big juicy fruit would be nice.
<span style='color:blue'>"I noticed that few people came here, and I wanted to have a quiet walk so I figured I wouldn't meet anyone here." She smiled, "I'm glad I met you though." Tucoju heard the (Young Pendragon-->)Niotie's stomach growled, and laughed a little, "I have some food if you are hungry." She reached into her bag and held a large http://shadowlack.com/life/flora.php?id=1Yjumdas</a>, "I'm Tucoju Uej by the way. I'm the librarian at the Janardian Academy."</span>
She nodded to the stranger before her. She was half glad she met someone. Half of her felt so lonely just walking by herself. When this stranger showed up and asked her to sing, she didn't feel so lonely after that. But then part of her felt scared. Would this be a one time thing? Just meet and then next day all would be forgotten? Her eyes brightened when she saw the Yjumdas. Timidly, she took it from Tucoju and uttered a shy 'thank you'. She nipped the fruit and listened to Tucoju. <span style='color:white'>A librarian? Thats really nice. I've been to the library loads of times. Oh, that reminds me; I have this book I still haven't returned... But I don't have it now.</span> She smiled up at Tucoju.
<span style='color:blue'>Tucoju laughed, and thought for a moment, "Let's see there are only 3 late books right now, 'Damajek Lyba Tsyji', 'Azglypemd Shemdt vyj Ponneat', and 'Hyf sy Rojm Shemdt vyj Ponneat'" She looked at Kutz, "And since you don't look like the destructive or pyromanical type, I'm going to assume you have 'Damajek Lyba Tsyji' meaning your name must be Kutz Agon." She smiled, "I have a very good memory." Tucoju laughed and looked Kutz in the eyes, "Would you sing another song please? I'd love you hear another."</span>
Kutz nodded her head when she heard her name. Her fruit was half gone and she was thinking of the book she had finished reading a week ago but never got the time to give it back. <span style='color:white'>I do hope it's okay. Teachers have been giving me loads of work and I sometimes forget what I'm supposed to do. I lost my organizer a while back and haven't got another one...</span> She stopped rambling and tilted her head. Was she afraid? She was always afraid. She wondered what fine she would have to pay for another late book this time. She got a surprise when Tucoju asked her to sing again. She could feel herself blushing again. <span style='color:white'>Oh, well... okay.</span> she replied. Then she started on with a song she'd learnt from somewhere she cannot remember. It was a long time ago but the song stayed with her. It was something soft, sweet, and sad. The words were in Ramathian and it talked about the losses of something close to the heart. Be it a family, lover, or a friend. When she stopped, flashbacks of the past came back into her mind. She'd gone quiet, staring into space with the fruit half eaten in her paw.
<span style='color:blue'>"Oh I won't fine you, those two song would've been payment enough if I had anyways." Tucoju smiled, The songs seemed to alleviate her stress. "So what do you study here?"</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>sorry bout the delay and short post, I wasn't sure what to write.</td></tr></table>
<span style='color:white'>I appreciate it very much</span> she said with a big grin on her face. She finshed the other half of her fruit and wiped her hands on a large leaf she plucked from a nearby tree. <span style='color:white'>I study healing. And of course, I'm continuing my studies on singing.</span> she said, her shyness was slowly ebbing away. <span style='color:white'>I enjoy healing very much. It's a nice trade to have. Do you enjoy your work in the library, ma'am?</span>
