His yellow eyes scanning the Jungle floor for any signs of challenging prey, looking at each bent leaf and twig. He could feel the light of the sun warming his scales nicely as he let his body adapt to his surroundings. The scales blended him in perfectly with his surroundings, so much so that he looked near enough invisible amounts the bracken and leaves high up in the trees. His tail slowly and methodically winded itself around the breach as he watched a small rodent like creature scurry around the place. He was well armed today, he has his red scale shield firmly strapped to his back along with his club like pick axe that was adorned with gold. ye in his hand right now he was carrying his full length spear which was around 6 foot long with a 2 foot blade on it. It was more like a halberd really yet he liked the name spear more. He growled impatiently as no sign of either food nor a hunt passed his way.

His sister's eyes were boring into his back as he timidly walked along. Led was pissed. If he had never gotten lost she would never have had to look for him for so long. Thupy's nine tails waved behind him. His scorpion tails were ready, lest anything attack them. Thupy stopped and picked his head up, sniffing for a second. The was another Takula near, but he was hiding. Led found some berries that were safe to eat, so she gathered some, and gave a few to Thupy, who just watched them drop to the ground. Led wrapped her tail around a tree trunck as the forest winds began to pick up. But Thupy glared around "<span style='color:red'>Ledhsam, there is someone watching us</span>" Ledhsam looked dumbfounded, but said nothing. She looked around "<span style='color:orange'>Possibly in the trees</span>" she said. Thupy nodded, he reached down and grabbed a leaf, he wasn't a stereotypical male, but he did know some tracking. "<span style='color:red'>Our watcher is nearby</span>" he said looking around, waiting, for something.
Kroxkai's eyes suddenly moved across his field of vision in an instant, rapidly focusing on the Takula who where wandering around. One was female the other male, he was tempted to hunt them both, the challenge of a Takula was always great yet they would be no match for him. With out making a sound he jumped from tree to tree nearing them with his scale cloak keeping him hidden from the average eye. As he neared them he stopped and landed on a branch with his tail wrapped around it, he let him self swing down though yet keeping his tail attack so he was bend held just above them. He held back a growl of hunting bloodlust as his hand gripped his spear in an attacking poise, sizing up if he should attack. Yet the female looked somewhat prophetic and he was always slightly fearful of their mind magic, still, he had experience on his side and he was by far the eldest. He dropped down with a massive thud in a crouched low position, his cloak coming off in an instant. He stood with his full menacing and scared face staring at them both, his spear at ready in case they attack him. "Who are you too." He hissed at them menacingly, his eyes narrowed at them in a hungry stare.
Led had lept back. Thupy raised his head to hiss when he saw the size. If he did attempt poison, it wouldn't last very long. "<span style='color:orange'>I am Ledhsam, and that is my brother Thupyfop</span>" Led said swiftly her eyes narrowing at the older male's attack. Thupy growled at his sister. He looked at Krox, he seemed familiar. Maybe he was in the tribe camp, it seemed so vague. Led glanced at her brother, he seemed more hostile then he looked. She sighed and waited for Thupy to give a response. "<span style='color:red'>Well, I guess I got us both lost</span>" he said shaking his head a few times. He turned and began to walk away slowly, looking for the familiar smoke of the camp fires.Led, having no choice turned away from the older male as well and began to dash after her brother, who had walked a good two yards now. Led glanced back looking for the older male "<span style='color:orange'>Thupy, he could have helped us</span>" she hissed, half tempted to claw him apart. Thupy just shook his head, he saw things, and his sister knew it, but he just thought he was having a major hallicunction.
Kroxkia growled deeply as they turned there back on him and began to wander off, he hated being ignored and normally killed people who did yet the female made him nervous. He didnÂ’t want to risk killing the female and gaining the anger of the gods, Kroxkai was very fearful of such things. So instead he bounded after them in one leap and put the 2 foot blade of his spear across them to block there path. "Where are you going and why are you here." He snarled at them, showing his massive fangs and teeth. He really wanted to lash out but fear kept him back, his tail swishing sinisterly back on forth with the tail flame pulsing gently yet getting bigger each time. He was leaning forward more into his raptor like stance, his tail countering his weight balance while he examined his prey. He was hungry.
Led felt that Krox feared killing her so she stepped forward "<span style='color:orange'>Why should we tell you? Are you going to kill us?</span>" she hissed in a deep hiss, tail lashing heavily. Thupy had his head raised, the quills around his neck stading out forming a cobra frill, he was ready for anything. Thupy watched his sister, she wasn't normaly like this, but he trusted her judgement. Led tipped her head to one side, he was still heavily armed, he could go right past her and kill her brother. But her brother was more than any Takula would think. Thupy leaned forward positioning his scorpion tails to strike, his quilled tails and clawed ones were also ready. Thupy let out a short hiss of frustration at Krox, trying to get information from them. Then Thupy said "<span style='color:red'>We are from the VejaTci tribe and we are returning home. Krox growled even deeper as the female walked forward more, he swiftly stopped her though by putting the end of the blade directly pointed at her stomach. If she took one more step she would have a far large belly button, he didnÂ’t want to kill her but he would if he felt threaten but if she walked on the blade then it wasnÂ’t his fault. He was simple like that. He looked at the male however who was flaring up his mutations, Kroxkai smirked with glee knowing full well that a young dancing and singed male could not even hope to beat him in a fight. he could so easily over power him and rip of each of his tails in turn, wouldnÂ’t be the first time. "Well you better have food or it is my business, and I happen to be high in that Tribe so you do as I say." He said with a another snarl, his tongue tasting the air as he spoke. He was very hungry now as so far the only food he could see where too young Takula.
Led forced away the stick with a powerful hiss. "<span style='color:orange'>I'll give you my food if you are so hungry, and feel free to kill Thupy if he acually attacks you. It's his fault I'm lost</span>" She said pulling a bag off of one of the spines sticking out from her back. She knew that Thupy would not attack him after she said that, but she took the extra precautions just to say it. She slowly backed away after putting the bag down in front of him. In case he was a messy eater. "<span style='color:orange'>So this is what Vejaguems puts up with when he speaks to the highers</span>" she thought looking at the male, and his starving look. Her tail was lashing, she didn't like the males, treating everyone like dinner. That's why she liked the company of the skinks and other females. "<span style='color:orange'>Eat your fill, I'm not hungry</span>" she growled to him, and forced her brother to stand down. She looked at her brother, he was glaring at her, she couldn't help but smirk at her brother.
Kroxkai immediately lowered the spear when he saw the food, using the blade itself to pick up the bag and slide it over to him. He eagerly grabbed it from the end and tore it apart with a clawed hand, he took out a chunk of meat and swallowed it whole. He then proceeded to eat the bag and everything it contained whether it was edible or not. His powerful jaws crunching down anything and every thing. As he finished his meal he looked at the too again, sticking his spear on his back and getting out his spiked club sword with its golden patterns. Waving the thing he began talking again with a piece of cloth handing from a tooth. "Where you heading again, I know the way." He said not ever sure of where they wanted to go. He was more content now, less likely to eat people but he wanted to kill something anyway. Although he could wait now, he was more curious about them and why they where out wandering anyway.
Thupy pondered at where to start "<span style='color:red'>Well, they wanted me to do a little hunting, which I hate to do. So I gatered the weapons I did have and came out here. I travled a little while until I found scent markers of the EkaTci tribe. I panicked, and I ran the way I came when a huge EkaTci tribe warrior found me. He crushed my weapons, and chased me until I ran past the scent marker from our tribe. He stopped dead but I kept running until I nearly ran my sister over. The rest you witnessed.</span>" he said. and that was putting it short. Led hissed when he mentiond running her over and nodded. "<span style='color:orange'>He's a fool, not a brother</span>" she growled. She walked over to him and kicked him in the side. "<span style='color:orange'>That's what you get for all the trouble you cause me over the last three years, and there is still more.</span>" she then realised she was being watched by Krox and stopped totally, cringing. Thupy rubbed his side and saw her back away. He growled at her and turned his attention back to Krox. "<span style='color:red'>You just saw one of her 'Spazz' attacks, she gets worse when we are alone. Believe me.</span>" he growled, still in pain from her powerful kick. "<span style='color:orange'>Now if you know how to get us out of here then hurry up</span>"She hissed nodding her head to give him the hint she wanted to be home.
Kroxkai looked at them while scratching his head, he had the male down as a coward now. Before he still might have fought him anyway but he saw no honour it killing someone who couldnÂ’t even fight, the sound of a big warrior somewhere sounded like fun to him though. He also looked at the female, she didnÂ’t seem like a servant of the gods to him. She looked way to immature and stupid, they normally had better control yet he didnÂ’t care, he was more confused at the moment. "Er you didnÂ’t answer my question, I said where are you going." He said with a small growl, not sure where they were treating him as if he was stupid. He still had his club in his hand and his grip on it increased, the scales on his hands almost turning white with pressure, he hated it when people treated him as if he was stupid. He could hunt and track better than most people anywhere on the world and he was an excellent fighter and champion. He was getting very angry now.
Led sighed, she thought he would have gotten the hint by now. "<span style='color:orange'>We want to go home the our tribe</span>" she growled. She didn't want to start a fight, but if that's what it took to get it through his thick skull, then she would. She growled to her brother, a laguge of growls in certain ways was a languge they use. But she basicly told her brother that he should be ready for anything. Thupy nodded and looked back at Krox, they could treat like he was stupid behind his back. This guy was dense, you could give him hints all day and he wouldn't understand. Thupy began to sway on his feet, slowly, but he was swaying. He moaned as well, he had just realised what they'd do to him when they found out he caught nothing, and whent onto EkaTci tribe grounds. Led grew tired of the swaying fast, and held him still with the telekinesis she had. Kroxkai growled very seriously this time whipping his shield off his back in a moment before shoving Led back with a powerful arm. He wasnÂ’t stupid and he could understand they growls they used, after all he was a member of the same tribe. He pointed his club sword very closely to her neck and turned very serious. "If you talk to me like that again young thill I would kill you and feed you to the hatchlings. I am a higher rank than you for a good reason and I know the priestess far better, if you ever want to be one you must learn manners." He said while his while posture tensed up ready to lash out in a second in need be. He was annoyed that just because there where too of them they thought they could win, he would personally make sure her brother got in trouble for his hunt. After all Kroxkai was second in command of all the hunts in the area let alone the tribe. He lowered his club sword and pointed westwards, nodded while giving them both a glare. "This way to the temple." He said with his voice think with angry.
She followed him. Stopping to make sure that he wasn't leading them into a trap. The males of the tribe never trusted her, and she didn't trust them. Thupy followed behind, he wasn't ever good around the higher ups. He always got into trouble because of the fact he wasn't an avrage male. Led liked the company of the skinks because they thought first, asked questions later. Krox was the image of all the males Led had met. Big brutes that ate before figuring out what it was. She growled at him because he acted like she didn't know what she was doing here. She knew what it was to be a priestess, if everyone didn't treat her like the under'dragon first, she would be more friendly. She looked around, things were getting familliar again. She saw the specials poles, and the temple in the distance. When she stopped to look around things didn't seem right.
Kroxkai hated the stuck up priestess who thought she was above every one and had the right to talk down to her elders. After all thatÂ’s what Kroxkai was and he was used to a bit more respect from people. However his mind blanked as he basked in the reflective golden shine from the Takula ziggurat that was a perfect yet blocky pyramid. He looked with wide, yellow sun like eyes and the massive symbol of Sykyu. The lizard snake. "Here we are," He said with a deep voice with a vicious undertone. He looked at Thupy thought with a disappointed glare, he understood he was more of a religious male. So was Krox but there were still some expectations on him as a male in general. "You should try to learn your area better, one day I might be there to save you and if the other Tribes ever attacked you should be able to run back and warn us. So males like me can do our job and save the village from disgrace and death." He said very seriously. He would not tolerate the safety of the tribe to be put in jeopardy thanks to the negligence of any Takula. However he threw a glance at Led, he would be a around 40 something maybe more by the time she was a priestess. He sighed wishing he was young again, his glory days where still ahead of him but he had already reached the peak of his fighting career and the only things left were personal.
Thupy threw his head down. Now he really felt bad. He also gave his cousin, Vejaguems, a warning glance not to get entagled, or he'd be banished again. Ledhsam walked camly over to the statue, and the rest of the temple. she shook her head when she looked at. The whole tribe idea began to desturb her. The way they had to treat each othere, she shook her head. The adults hated the children because when the children grew up they would overpower the adults. the adults treated the children like rapine dung on the other hand. Do this, do that, do go there, obey so and so. It began to annoy her acually. She missed the others that had died recently. There had been a camp fight, and fatalities ended up. She shook her head again. Why could she predict it, but not see anything. She stamped her claw on the ground. Why could she not help, then she remembered, it was because she was female. The males had aways looked down upon the normal females because they were only good for healing and the sort. Thupy looked up. He saw where he normally wrote things and saw the paper he had on top was missing. The priestess never did like the things he wrote, nor him. Then he got an idea, "<span style='color:red'>How can I help without hunting, fighting, or tracking?</span>" he asked, feeling a bit optemistic about the idea he'd just thought up. He wanted the answer now, he didn't want a sudden call to go hunting again.
Kroxkai looked at the female with a strange look, he wasnÂ’t sure why she was acting so weird and some stupid misguided preconceptions and confusion, she nearly need to stop assuming and just start looking. He always liked how the younglings seemed to throw a tantrum over everything they didnÂ’t understand. "Calm down, you could hurt yourself" he said with a concerned tone, he didnÂ’t want her doing anything stupid in angry. The females had to practise mental and emotional control other wise they could let lose their power. "One day you will be a priestess, try to remember that." He said still with concern in his voice. He tilted his head however when he looked at the male Thupy, he was worried about him. He seemed to have difficulties in adapting with the hunting and violent life style of the tribes, Krox decided he would best if he helped with the worship of Sykyu instead. "Ah donÂ’t worry about that, both of you listen. We all have our places in the tribe which we must find depending on the gifts Sykyu has blessed us with. Led you have been marked for greatness with the second sight, embrace it and stop fighting it. Yet donÂ’t forget we are still your brothers and sisters, we are your lesser but still Takula. And Thupy you have not been blessed with strength, not all have. Instead of trying to be what you are not be what you are and succeed in it. Writ the history of our people, the teachings of our seers in a form the hatchlings can understand." He said in a slow and thought full voice, making sure they understood his words. "Do these things and you will find your place." he said quite triumphantly at the end, please with himself that he could use his wisdom for something.
Led knew he was right, but for some odd reason she didn't want to accept that fact. Thupy just wanted to be accepted for the fact he was more religous. Led was shocked by Krox's additude change on the other hand. Here he was, trying to eat them, now he's trying to help them, what is up with this guy? Thupy walked over to his work, and flipped through some papers that were under a rock, grabbed a paper and held it out to Krox. "<span style='color:red'>There was a reason you were familliar, I observed you to write a story, it is about what you were before you were born, your last life.</span>" He figured that made no sense to the older male, but he offered it anyway. Led just looked up at the statue. She had alot of thoughts that no Takula could answer, probably not even thier god could answer.
