  1. <font color='#FFFFFF'>Day: 16

It is morning and the sun is just above the horizon, slowly warming the frigid air of the far north, the forests is so dense here and there are few settlements. There is a clearing in the woods where a group of various machina sit like metal guardians, there is a huge one that looks like some huge thick legged spider with a drill on each 'foot' and various smaller ones. On top of the spider mech is a small female pendragon with bright red markings and is clothed in a thick animal fur and she is inspecting something on the top of it while a few others are doing other things around the camp. Akira twitches her ear slightly and looks carefully at the mass of wires connected to what looks like some kind of control/power panel.

Krilar! Do you have the known data on the KI992 type control panel as I believe this is an advanced mining mech and you know what happened last time when we didn't do it right!

A gold and green furred pendragon below her yelled back, Yeah, it is the yellow/green wire that connects to the f-5 port if it is not already connected and the white wire goes to the side of panel 2!

Thank you!     She does the instructions of that (she wrote them herself in fact, she was making sure the student had them) and then pushes several buttons on a device she had that was conneted to the machina's control panel and some internal system began whirring to life, she yells, Whoo Yeah!! We are in business with this mech! Now lets see how it works!, as people cheer as the machine comes alive. She climbs down and heads towards a large hatch that seems to lead towards the control center.</font>

Soaring idly among the crystalline waters the lithe femme had her destination in mind. Purpure and sapphire hued appendages outstretched to their full span, casting an obscure shadow below. She was of fair completion, "beautiful" for her age which was merely 600 years, but no one, especially a stranger could guess her age and dismiss her as a mere pup. Her mind dwindled with excitement as she caught a glimpse of the mass of machina on which the female and her student had been working o'er.

WOW! Look at that... Such a work of art, such a fine machine... One of them MUST know Talis to have created such an amazing contraption!

Coming to a decision to meet them, she soon lowered herself to the ground, small particles of dust ascended as she landed 'pon the terra cotta. Metallic claws extracted, loosening particles of dirt and ash as she made her way toward the two other pendragons...</font>

  5. <font color='#FFFFFF'>As she was heading towards the hatch, she saw the small Pendragon bieng airborne and then landing soon in the cold soil nearby. She tilts her head and radars towards the youth and yells across the several yards.

<font color =green>Hello there Niotie! What are you doing way out here in the far north?</font>

She beams a bright toothed smile.

<font color =green>Wlcome to our camp, I was just about to see what this machina does. I suspect it is an advanced mining mech, but it is different from most that I have seen. As for the smaller ones around here, I theorize they may be support mechs.</font></font>

An unquenchable thirst to learn about the machina overtook her heart and soul once again. Movements liquidized into a rapid pace as she darted toward the adult pendragon, she halted shortly in front of the large devise. She would have nearly run into the machine with all the excitement within her, but thankfully her claws were extracted, halting her just 3 inches from the mass of complex wires and metal. Her voice resounded, one could easily tell she was overjoyed...

"OH MY GOSH! It's marvelous! Unlike anything I could have ever read in the books!"

She paced around the mass of machinery, noting every marking, wire, and engraving with an immense passion which could be matched by none. She was almost nearly oblivious to those around her, it had captivated her heart and soul. She knew she was going to learn about machina, one day she'd be just like Talis...</font>

  7. <font color='#ADA96E'>Akira hops into the roomy control bay in the bottom of the geat machine and begins to click various buttons and levers as her optics scan the control boards and the great machine itself through the dirty windows.

<font color =green>Yes, it is marvelous. The reason that it is not mentioned in the books is that only two others have been found and both were destroyed beyond repair of any kind, but this one is in near perfect conditions. At least for what you might expect for a machina that has been in this environment for centuries.</font>

The machine began to whine and whir loudly as the large legs began to move, her student is not far away, taking measurements through a device that is scaning the machine and taking various readings. The spider machina slowly begins to move one of it's massive legs which slams into the ground. Whoa, this thing is powerful! Now that it moves, lets see what it does.</font>

She stepped back, watching Akira with amethyst optics. Ivorn pelt glinted as the sun's rays seeped from behind the horizon, she was in plan view. Her odd passion of silver jewelry became evident, it was as if she had put silver rings where ever she could on herself... But her mind wasn't on jewelry now, it was on machina... The books could not have revealed to her what she had just seen in these view moments. She yelled back to Akira in a tone that she was hoping could get her attention...

"Do you think you could teach more than one student..."

Her hopes were high, if Akira could teach her... The world would just fit into place, perfectly... She observed the machine careful and followed it's every move, she was clearly obsessed...</font>

  11. <font color='#ADA96E'>OOC: I'm back, for a little bit and then later this afternoon, my time anyway, PST.

The great beast of a machine began to grind and roar as it began to move. As Akira began to carefully push stuff in a controlled, scientific manner, her green optics scanned the board and the machine as some sort of anti-grav device activated and two of the six arms went above the control bulb and drilled into the air meanwhile the other four arranged themselves into a straight line and drilled at the ground, creating a muddy furrow and throwing dirt all over the place, she then resets the machine and it whines as it powers down.

She gets out of the control orb and goes over to moona and looks at the machine.
<font color=green> "Sure, I could teach you. I usually have more than one, but there weren't many volunteers for this one." "How much do you know about mechanics? I am just wondering so that I know where to start. For one, this mech has a pretty powerful anti-grav system, more poweful than most that I have seen or read about, it may be a new technology and the way the arms move around could revolutionize the mining industry."</font>

By the time Akira had got out of the mass machine, Moona was without question matted with dirt and debris. Shaking the stray particles from her ivorn coat on a somewhat desperate attempt to get clean, she looked up to see Akirak in front of her. All her movements halted, her voice resounded softly from minute larynx after Akira had finished her speech.

"I've read a lot of books and documents, and I've seen a few pictures here and there. But I've never had any paws on experience with machina, maybe it would be best to start from the beginning. I would like to understand machina technology well and be able to do things just as you did moments ago..."

It was just then that she noticed Akira was going to teach her. Excitement arose in her, sleek perpendicular plume swayed to and fro, batting against svelte hackles... Amethyst hued optics reflected toward Akira, who was to be her new teacher. Her mother had taught her much about elements and teleportation, but machina was of much more interest in her young mind which yearned to learn all she could about this subject. It was at that very next moment, that she realized she had forgot to give her teacher her name. What an embarrassment, she had been yapping about machina and how wonderful and exciting the drilling machine was that she forgot to introduce herself. She stuttered lightly but regained her composure.

"I'm sorry that I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Moona... Moona Naptilia... Daughter of Saqqara Naptilia..."

Crooked grin swept cross her alabaster maw, her last name "Naptilia" had a bad repudiation, tis was true. But she always believed on not being prevaricate and telling the truth about herself, weather or not pendragons would except her was their decision. But it was pleasing to note that this young pendragon had not done a crime in her small life and had no interest in fighting, war and other such blood shed. Her mind and heart were with making things better on this planet, and machina was certainly one of her strong points next to genetics...</font>

Akira studies the machine for a second then turns to Moona, she ruffles her bluish hide as she snuggles the coat around her a bit, she looks with dark forest green optics at the young Moona.

<font color =green>"That is a great goal young one, perhaps we can start soon as the lifter is coming soo to pick up the mining mech to a lab on Ajita, there are hundreds of machina over there, many of them much more simpler than this ons. We can start there, plus there is a Machina Academy there that some 'dragons have gone to. Including myself." </font>

Her large radars twitch at the noise and biting of a few lazy Szjimit buzzing about in the chilly air as she pushes back a few strands of sandy colered mane behind her ear.

<font color =green>"Ah, yes, Naptilia, I have heard of that family, one of the symbols of the victims of the graders and the rebellion, of which I am not neccesarily part of. Although personally, I rebel against some of thier ideals.... </font></font>

Oculars of amethyst coloration scrutinized the complex machine with great care and an overall sense of profound passion. On hearing Akira speak, her gaze swiftly returned to her teacher. Voice softly reverberated from minute larynx, a gentle yet young tone.

"When I first picked up the book 'Mysteries of the Adamaint Empire', I knew that this was the field for me. I also like genetics, but this I intend on mastering first since it seems much more of a challenge. Plus yah never know what kind of adventure awaits you in Machina Technology..."

Sleek plume swayed to and fro as feathered appendages ruffled in the gentle breeze. The broad grin which swept 'cross her alabaster maw soon vanished when Akira had mentioned the rebellion. She thought to herself for a few moments before choosing to talk about her family, well her only family, her mother...

"Many say my mother is part of the rebellion. Call me ignorant, but I refuse to except that she has anything to do with them. She promised me she wouldn't attempt anything with such blood shed, I don't care what other pendragons think of her, saying she's cold, ruthless, aggressive and such. She's my mother, she has been nothing but loving, caring, and well protective of me... If I had a choice between leaving my mom and going to be a with richer more favored family, I would stay with my mom, nothing is taking me away from her..."

She sighed lightly, thinking 'bout how she missed her mom. But she had promised to see her in a week, for some odd reason Saqqara always knew where her daughter was. Moona on the other paw, always looked forward to seeing her mother, it meant fun, games and silly pranks. Oh yeah and a lesson or two about elements and teleportation... She glanced back at Akira...

"When are we leaving to the Machina Academy, Akira? I can't wait! All the machines, masters, books, pictures, paws on stuff! How exciting!"

Once again overjoyed she pranced over to her teacher's side, listening and awaiting anything she had to say. She liked Akira a lot even though she just met her, and she knew deep down that Akira would be a great teacher...</font>
