Ooc:Tychicus in his trench coat 16 tessera 81381, Late at night in some small bar. Ty' had come here to lick his wounds from the beating that the damned vampire Thela had given him. He was sitting at the bar drink shot after shot of the local spirits grunting as the burning liquor went down his throat. "Just why do I exist anyway, to train be strong only to be blown away by some high powered creature it's just not fair!" Ty'cus's rant were becoming a tad loud ending in more of a growl then a real word. He put the last of the glasses down feeling the alcohol reaching his head, Ty' had always reacted oddly when he was drunk. Instead of being aggressive he would turn sad ranting his problems at anyone in front of him. Anything to take the pain away.
Keratel exhaled deeply as she slammed the pitcher onto the bar counter, then gave a smiling glance to the bartender, who was polishing a glass slowly while looking at her in wonder. 'I'll have another, please, bartendersir,' she began, slurring slightly as a chartreuse tongue slipped and slurred over the words, 'and a bit more KICK this time.' The bartender opened his eyes wider and sighed, but gave her another of her regular - vodka, mixed with lemon juice and who knew what else. The thill looked like an experienced drinker, but even so, the fact that she was drinking vodka like beer was a frightening one, and he wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to serve her before he'd be out of vodka - his was more the beer type of bar, and his supply of the other sorts was limited. Atels' eyes flickered about the bar, looking vainly for someone to - oh, wait, there was someone right in front of her. A couple feet away sat a shorter 'dragon, swathed in a dark coat; Atel took a sip of her new drink and slid along the barstools until she was only a foot away from him. 'Hey there, handsome. And who would you be?' She smiled slightly and brushed a few strands of vibrant hair - which was today long and wavy - out of her face.
Ty'cus wasn't surprised to see someone next to him, oh ho no, he was just surprised that the said person was not there to remove him. Perhaps she has come to listen. "I'm Tychicus, and whom might I be speaking to?" He slowly took in her image noting the thill had a little pendragon in her, as well as her enticing beauty. He called the bartender for another shot, not noticing the look the 'tender had on his face. For the bartender was more than a little thankful that his loud rantings were stopped. Ty'cus unfolded his wings from his back with a slight wince of the usual pain. once they were out he stretched them to full span before putting the to their usual spot above his back. He smiled slightly.
Atel seemed to be really considering this question, and for a moment it seemed as if she were about to spout off some deep, intelligent response, but in reality she was simply trying to decide if there was anything flirtatious she could reply with. Too drunk to put together a suggestive sentence relating to her name, however, she simply replied, 'Keratel... but you can call me Atel. She smiled again leaning forward slightly and looking up at him through her thick lashes. 'Are you ok?' she paused a moment before asking this, and when she did, it was not in the same tone as her other comments had been; more likely, she was showing real concern.
Ty'cus could have fallen off his stall had his wings not been holding him up, the question had really struck a chord one that he usually ignored the existence of. Pity that was it no one had ever shown him kindness or pity well apart from his brother. "No, I am not. I've had a terrible time of late." As he said it he turned towards her properly and ruffled some of his deep orange fur just below the coller-bone to reveal deep gouges in his flesh. "You could say I was too eager to do good, and got my ass wipped by some vampire but I'm alive and still normal and that's the key." He looked around the bar slowly seeing most of the regulars had heard his tale nodding in approval of his failed attempt to do good. "Perhaps we should go somewhere private, any ideas?"
'A vampire..? There must have been some trickery involved for him to beat you, but then, with vampires there usually is... The 'you' was accented just enough for there to be flattery, though not too much, and at his suggestion, she smiled again, though it was a different type of smile than those before; she seemed to have him hooked, but she wasn't going to stop until she was sure. '...Private?' she asked innocently, 'I'm inbetween houses right now, and I don't really know my way around this area...' she hesitated. 'So whatever you suggest would be great.'
"Oh there was plenty She was a tricky one." He quickly downed his shot before getting up. He held out his arm for her to pull herself up. "I know a nice little Bed and Breakfast nearby, if that sounds okay for you?" He slowly walked out the door. Ty'cus didn't know exactly why he was doing this just that it felt right somehow. "Right we just follow the signs and when we get there you can sort out the room and I'll pay." The walk wouldn't be much.
