And sorry for the pathetic title.</td></tr></table> It was early morning in tha Black Market, a slight wind blowing through the streets bustling with criminals. Mist creeped slowly along the ground. Deals were being made, plans being set in place, and illegal products flew here and there. Groups huddled in street corners, discussing who knows what, and eerie figures hulking around with blades longer than their arms. Good. Kuln always liked days like this. Plenty to dig up on, and plenty to arrest. Anything to keep up his reputation as the greatest - and possibly only - detective in the market. The detective stood at a street corner, his face nearly hidden behind his tan trenchcoat, under his almost cowboy-like hat and mop of black hair. But what could be seen were his grey, stormlike eyes. His tail falme glimmered slightly, surrounded by the grey colour of the pendragon's pelt. In his hands was a notebook and pencil. The 'dragon, his eyes scanning the scene before him, would occasionally look down, dark-grey tipped ears perked, listening for any useful information, and jot something down in the notebook, for his own future reference. But he had a mission to do. The police had informed him of an incident involving fake music players, which, when plugged into computers to download music, would automatically install various bugs and viruses. Dangerous if it got to goverment computers. His job was to find out who sold these players, and who was making these players. Personally, he didn't want to, but... With a sigh, he set out to do his job. He tried to keep his face hidden. A few criminals around here had encountered him before, and theyu didn't like good guys around poking noses into their buisness. But, then again, it was his buisness to poke his nose into people's buisness. After a little walking, the 'dragon finally found a quiet street. Barely a soul lurked about - only one or two stalls, and the odd person treading through. Keeping his eyes peeled, he continued to walk on forwards, looking for any signs of these players at all.
Kajy fought a yawn while his shook the salt water from his pelt. He had taken a morning swim near the Terhesian Port. Not that he had wanted to go swimming, no that wasn't the case at all. What happened was a he had made a wager with some fairly dense pendragons and when they lost they were none too happy, Kajy didn’t exactly “play fair." But what are a few rules broken here and there?… needless to say that the others didn’t share his opinion and he ended up bound, gagged, blindfolded and was tossed into the water. Though for one in this situation he had a fairly bright outlook. Water wasn’t his favorite element but he got on well enough with it. Kajy’s Elemental Kinesis is very well developed and at times lets him communicate with others also connected to the element which he is focusing in on. And luckily for him he managed to get a hold of a friendly Halgvolraut. Which after seeing that Kajy was tied, and over all quiet helpless was quick to untie and bring him to the surface. Kajy thanked the beast and gave him thirty gold pieces, and though the creature was quiet pleased with these Kajy wasn’t sure how it would make use of them. Nevertheless the parting was friendly and after seeing how last nights adventure had carried over to this morning he planned on taking it easy the rest of the day. He pulled a worn black cloak close and shivered lightly as he walked down a less crowded street of the Black Market. He wanted to find a less crowed pub that had a good view of the sea.
Kuln slowly exhaled a breath of frosty, cold air. It was then that a tiny drop of rain splashed onto the 'dragons nose. Kuln turned his head upwards. Slowly, more and more crystal drops of water tumbled form the heavens, until a heavy shower poured apoun the market. Many set down their stalls and fled from shelter. However, a detective's job never ended, rain or shine. Well, in Kuln's opinion anyway. He continued to trudge along in his combat books, shoulders haunched, allowing himself to be soaked in the rain. Ink ran down the pages of his notebook. Ah well. He could salvage them again, he was sure. The 'dragon soon reached near the corner of the street, and the rain still hadn't given away, still thundering down like there was no tomorrow. Okay, now the rain was exhaustinghim. But the street was now almost completely deserted, and he'd been wandering around for ages now. Perhaps he could take a short break...? With a spring, the 'dragon lept from the pavement into a small shelter and shook himself furiously. He blinked, holding up the trenchcoat so it covered his mouth. It was then that the detective noticed something, or someone. It looked like an anubi, wearing a worn black coat around his shoulders. Kuln peered at him. He looked like a cunning criminal. Maybe he knew something about the music players? With that, the 'dragon then lept out of the shelters, and raced towards the anubi. The wind began to blow his hat off. Luckily, Kuln managed to pin it down with one hand, but his face was now in full view. He prayed this anubi didn't know who he was or hadn't heard of him.... "Excuse me, sir?" he yelled, still running forwards. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>xD Agh.
