Mia 81380 Jyta Kylyojap-Aiat Black leather miniskirt and midriff puffy long sleeved shirt, one sleeve ripped off, no shoes. Jye staggered out of the bar. She'd snuck in by making out with the doorman, met a guy who bought her 3 beers, too much alcohal for her tiny body. He'd gotten her drunk, tried to rip off her shirt, and tried to rape her. All in all, Jyta was not having a good day. Her bare feet stumbled from the hard road to cold soft sand. She fell to her knees and started crying. She'd only gotten away from the rapist when she shoved her knee in his balls. She kept crying. She'd never felt so vulnerable before.
It was half-dark, half cold, and halfway towards home. Even though it was barely 6:00, the sun hanging onto edge of the planet and was ready to fall off for another night. It was a pretty depressing day too. NOt only has he not done anything today, but he can no longer fly home as he planned. THe power in his wings had died out and no one was willing to let a complete stranger into their house and use their good electricity. If there was anything good about today, it was knowing that he didn't have to pay for any electricity in his own house. Who's there to charge him anyway? He had went to a bar, unlike himself. Not for any reason, to drink, get drunk, get laid, and get paid. He just wanted to walk in, jack into an outlet, leave, and fly home. He succeeded but not entirely. He was low on cash, but the bouncer let him in anyway, "You have 5 minutes. Don't make me come in there." With a voice and body like his, Kojset knew he that he'd have to be out in 4, he didn't want him miscounting the number of seconds on his fingers or something. At least he let him in for free. The place itself was pretty big. The air filled with all sorts of alcoholic beverages, sweet aromas of perfume, and the noxious air of the cigarettes. After navigating past multiple bodies of pendragons, he was able to find the bartender. "Hey, do you have an outlet 'round here. Need to plug something in." He pointed into the general direction of the wall, and after four minutes, he was up and out of the building. As he stepped out and nodded to the bouncer, he heard footsteps of some rough movement. He turned around and saw a small feydragon attempting to escape the grasp of some drunkard. Of course, telling by her movement, and lack of shoes, she was drunk too. With a knee to the groin, she was set free and ran away. The arden started to recuperate, getting up still with his paws to his injured little friend. "H..Hey! Y..you get back here! I'm not done with yUNF!" He was out cold. With a nice swing of a pair of steel wings and a simultaneous blow to the stomach from the bouncer, the arden was on the ground fading into sleep. "I'll let you call the cops," Kojset said, "I'll see about the girl." The bouncer nodded. There was almost a bonding session there, but it was really too small to notice. KOjset jogged after the girl. She wasn't moving very fast, whatever she had, it knocked her senses really bad. Soon she was on the floor. Her body seemed almost broken and her clothes had been torn. He moved over to her side and noticed her crying. He sat on the cold sandy ground, placing his Wings to the right of him. "Are you okay, little girl? What were you doing in there?"
Jyta almost screamed as an arden sat down next to her. She sobbed harder when she saw it wasn't the drunkard... of course, she wasn't one to talk. Right now she didn't care who he was, as long as he would help her. I'm Jyta. I'm 16 years old, and I'm really scared. I got into the bar by making out with the bouncer- here she looked at the bouncer. He waved at her with a concerned look on his face. She smiled weakly. -and the guy started hitting on me. He bought me three beers and tried to rape me. I'm really scared. She started crying again, she couldn't control her tears. She was cold, scared, drunk, and just wanted to go home.
Kojset turned to the bouncer. They both blinked and nodded. "I'll be going now. If you need anything, you know where to find me." Kojset smiled. "I'll handle it from here. As the bouncer walked away, Kojset began to wipe away his smile. He focused his gaze on Jyta. He shook his head and picked her up, laying her on his folded legs. It was easy to tell she was scared, of course, he could've been a rapist himself for all she knew. It seems to be a bad day for everyone today. Something like that would really finish the cake. She was pretty messed up. Sweat, liquor, and perfume drifted past his nose as they looked at each other. He shook his head at her, and started dusting sand from off her body that had collected when she fell. "Y'know.. I had a sister just like you once. Well, not like you but you sorta remind me of her. She wasn't really my sister either, but we were close like that. That's why I want to hit you so bad right now. If it was her, I'd never let her go out by herself. Just be glad I'm not your dad or something.." He wiped sand from of her face and moved down to her exposed arm. "You'd be grounded for months, not trusted for the rest of your life, and you wouldn't be able to do anything as long as you lived in my house. Now you wouldn't want that, now would you?" He put her hand on her head and slightly rubbed through her hair. The remaining sand was off, but he kept his hand there. If her neck fell backwards, she might just throw up on herself and choke on it, not a good way to handle this.
Jyta's tears subsided a little as she heard Kojset's soft voice. Her vision blurred a little as the alcohal took more control of her body and soon she was hovering between conciousness and darkness. The world was dripping down her eyes like oil paints on a canvas. She passed out, her head falling onto Kojset's shoulder.
Out of Character

Kinda moved the story along..

Bittersweet. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't call it anything other than that. He helped the girl. She was safe for now. But there was absolutely NO WAY to get her home. She was knocked out on his shoulder, so he couldn't really ask her where it was. If she did tell him, who knows what her parents would do. He definitely couldn't carry her to his house. There was no way he could carry her all thw way across the ocean. Even if he did, the alcohol mixed with the cold air would definitely kill her. There was no place he could've taken her at the moment. So, he took her the only place he can take her. He put Jyta on the sand smoothly and picked up his somewhat charged Wings. After putting his Steel Wings on, Kojset picked Jyta up and held her like a new born. Getting past the rancid smells, she did look like one to an extent. "Looks like someone chose to grow up too fast." Kojset said to himself as he picked up wind. He jumped up and took off into the air. After fluttering around a bit, Kojset reached an edge of the beach. He landed himself there silently and observed the surrounding area. It was populated by a couple of smooth, large rocks, grass, sand, and a random oblivious crab. "Not home, but quiet like home,"he spoke to himself again. "Good enough for me." He rested Jyta on the sand, in the center of the formation of rocks. He then began to gather grass from the surrounding area. After about 20 minutes of gathering, and the smashing of a certain pestering crab, he had enough grass to fill both arms. He walked back next to Jyta and set the grass down. He layed down next to her again and felt her cheek. Still warm and fuzzy to be considered alive. That's all he wanted. He grabbed some of the grass and made a nice pillow. He lifted her head up, pushed the pillow under it, and set her down. "Well now, all I have to do is sleep here. At least it's not cold." He gathered the rest of the grass and put it under his legs. He rested his head on the rock and layed there. "Doesn't mean sleep will come easy, though."
Jyta's brief sleep was filled with nightmares. In all of them, she was being raped or about to be raped. They were very vivid images, so one would not be shocked to realize she woke up screaming. She was doing that a lot lately... She screamed. She had no idea where she was and was scared. She could see the bar lights in the distance, and saw a view she never wanted to see again. The guy who had tried to rape her. Unbeknownst to her AND the cops, he had escaped, sobered up, but was still full of enough testosterone to find her. He siezed her shoulders and lifted her up roughly. You and that boyfriend of yours are gonna pay. he said. She squirmed, trying to twist herself out of his grasp but she was still woozy from the alcohol. All she could do, as the guy carried her down the beach, was pray that Kojset would wake up.
NOt sleeping, not dreaming, just... drifting. Kojset was awake and aware of all that was going on. He just didn't want to be seen moving. As he pulled her away from the rocks and across the beach, Koj began to stand up. He yawned a bit reaching into his pockets for his gloves. He walked slow and tired-like as he extended his fingers into each glove. "The things I go through nowadays." The two had barely reached 10 feet away from their original position. Either he was pretty weak, or the girl was pretty strong. Judging by the way she moved, Jyta was still a bit drunk. It was the former, then. Then again, it could be both. Either way, something was about to stop moving one way or the other. "Don't you have a wife and kids at home," Kojset asked. "or did you rape them too? I feel sorry for those kids." The guy turned around and saw him. KOjset really did look half-awake. Maybe he was just messing with his mind, or maybe he's just too stupid to know that you don't taunt rapists. "Hey, who're you anyway? Huh!" He pushed Jyta down by the water as it paced back and forth on the sandy shore. Kojset put his hands together and rubbed them."Wanna see a trick?" The arden walked up to him and punched him in the face. Kojset was knocked down on the sandy floor, fists clenched. "That's what ya get fer hittin me earlier, and this is what you get for tickin' me off!" He jumped on Kojset dealing him a fury of blows to his face. Blood came from down his nose and his head was in a great deal of pain. When he finally finished, he got up and spit on his body. "That's what 'ya get. now.. where was I?" Kojset cracked a smile. Soft waves of laughter came from his bleeding mouth. Soon they got louder to the point where the guy was confused. He opened one of his eyes and said slowly, "Wasn't that fun?" The man scratched his head as Kojset's laughter filled his ears. "What you laughin' bout?" Kojset laughed more. Never before has he ever really got beaten up like this. It hurt like hell but he still found it funny. "The look on your face. The confused look in your eyes. It's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I can't stop laughing at it. Y'know, I'll let you have my final words. Tell me, what would you say in my position huh? Right about to die, in the middle of the sand." The man stood there, almost angry at him. He was mocking him. JOking at him in his face as he laid there on the ground. "What would I say? I don't know. But I do know what I can say to you right now. I'd say.. you're as good as dead." Koj stopped laughing. "My point exactly. NOw witness your own destruction." He opened his hands and placed them in the sand. Sparks flew from out of the ground as if he had pulled on an electrical power cord. The sand turned hot. As it melted, and mutated, it decomposed and changed. As he stood there half amazed, he didn't notice the ground behind him, and around him, also changing. "Wh-What is going on?" Kojset started laughing again. "Alchemy, fool. Die now please. Kay? Thanks." Small shards of glass started spewing from the sand. The arden tried, no, attempted to run away. He could not as about 8 small shards have lodged themselves in his foot. Many of them severing nerves and muscles, not only did it get paralyzed, but it stung like hell. More shards of glass shot out in the air and pierced through his fur, as he continued to squeal in pain. By the time it was over, he had over 300 or so shiny glass fragments sticking out of his body. Of course, this isn't counting the ones that went all the way inside his body. Strangely, his body remained in one position, he looked like a running man about to start jogging. Too bad, his foot wasn't able to leave the ground. Kojset stood up. He took a step towards his dead-while-standing body and whispered in his ear. With that, he grabbed his leg and pulled him by the ocean. "It's a great night for a SWIM!" When he reached the 'w' in 'swim', he flung his body far out into the water. He chuckled as he saw that his body skipped twice just before he sank into the sea. "Well then, now that that's settled..." He turned to Jyta who was still laying there by the water and picked her up. "How's about you getting back to bed, eh sis?"
Jyta was thrown to the ground. As the cold salty water washed over her legs she whimpered every time Kojset was hit. She watched him get hit, watched as the blood poured from his face. Jye squeezed her eyes shut, and heared the screams of her attacker. She realized that although he had only just met her, Koj was willing to die to protect her. When Koj picked her up and asked her if she wanted to sleep, she shook her head. I can't knowing that you're hurt. The least I can do is help you after what you've done for me. She had medicinal powers, but she also had one thing no one else knew about: healing hands. She motioned for Koj to put her down. When he did she said Kneel down. I'm too short. I can't reach you. When he did she touched his nose. The blood stopped pouring and his nose regained its normal shape. She touched his swollen lips and they returned to normal. That's all I can do for now, and you may be a little sore, but you'll be a helluva lot better.
It felt weird. How she did these things, regardless of herself being drunk. The alcoholic effects possibly subsided from adrenaline or something. Too much things for Kojset to worry about. At least his nose felt better. "Heh, that's okay." he said, rubbing his nose. "It doesn't really affect me much anyway. When I get the chance to go back home, it'll get better naturally quick. It's the coolest place in the planet." He wasn't lying. He did live in the middle of the planes, where it snowed every day in Mia. "But, I don't think I can go home anytime soon. There's no way you'll be getting anywhere, and I told that guy I'd take care of it." He almost laughed it again. He looked at the water rise up to his foot. He wiggled his toes in them which cleaned the sand off of them. "Well, I guess I should introduce myself then.. I'm Kojset Geajja. I'm a Blacksmith Alchemist, pretty much. Came up here to visit some family for my dad's birthday. But it seems that they went out or something, so I didn't get to see any of them today. Now, I'm stranded here with an ocean between me and my home. How's your day been?"
Jyta glared at him. I'm Jyta Kylyolap-Aiat, big name for such a small girl, I know. I'm a telepath but I only use it when I'm in trouble. I can heal things, but I'm too much of a bitch to do help anyone but myself. I'm a snob, and I have no friends. I almost got raped, and you have the balls to ask me how my day is? she walked away, pissed now. She swept her long black hair over her shoulders and sat on a rock further away. She curled her wings around her. She was cold, she just wanted to wake up from this horrible nightmare. She wanted to be back at Janardan, showing off for the teachers and making out with all the guys. She wanted to pretend almost being raped was just a bad dream. She wanted to go home. Most of all, Jyta just wanted to talk to her parents. But she couldn't. Not now. Tears overcame her again, and she just sat on her rock, crying and swaying back and forth.
She walked away. NOt surprising though. She's 16 with raging hormones and a constantly changing demeanor. "Those were the days...", he thought. "There's no way she has no friends." He went back to his little sleeping spot and picked up his Steel Wings. He looked at the mini screen and watched as it blinked "Battery Life: 58%" He strapped it on to himself. The static connection hurt much more than usual that time. Most likely because of the pain he was still feeling in his chest. He didn't really want to leave. He wasn't that kind of pendragon. He had a job to do, didn't he? "Whatever." Kojset said to himself turning the machine off. He turned to the rock and put his hand on it. "So, Mr. Rock wha do you want to be today." He put his hands together punched the rock. Out of the rock came some kind of crystal. It shined oddly even in the dark night. He picked it up and put it in his pocket. That's when he got a great idea. He took the grass pillow from earlier. Didn't seem to look like she'd use it anymore. He then piled some sand on it from around it. He dropped the crystal he had made earlier on it. "This should be enough," he said to himself, "now let's just make this work." He clapped his hands together again, and transmuted it. He took the final creation up in his left hand and walked back to Jyta. She didn't move from her position, still sitting there sobbing for whatever reason. He walked up to her and put his right arm on her shoulder. "Is life really that bad?" he asked.
Yes it is. If it were'nt for these goddamn healing hands, I would've killed myself already! Sure, I'd leave my roommate behind, and my dream analysis group, but hey, I'd be with my parents again. She turned to him and hugged him crying into his chest, she was so miserable. She saw something in his hands... it was beautiful. She didn't know what it was, but it was beautiful.
"Well, since you can't sleep I turned your bed into this.." He pulled it from behind his back. It was a vase. A glass vase, miexd with small purple crystal shards around it. Inside the vase, were green flowers. There was no real name for it, as he had just developed it in his hand. They were still pretty none the less. "Killing yourself doesn't help anyone. How angry do you think your parents would be to see you in fronima before you actuallyget to do something good in life? They want you to last as long as they did, longer than that." He handed her the vase. "With time, anything can change. Some things need help in changing. That's what I do. I change things. You can do it too. You just have to want to change."
If Jyta thought the tears had finished, they came back harder than ever. As she held the vase she smiled, the vase was incredible, even with the thousand or so tears blurring her vision. She had thought that Koj wouldn't care, would leave her to be taken away. She kissed him on the cheek and said Thank you. No one has ever cared for me or cared what happened to me. And I wasn't kidding when I said I have no friends. I have my roommate, and a few girls i met while wandering the halls at Janardan, but they're not actual FRIENDS. Thanks. she smiled at him.
Kojset was kinda hesitant. He didn't really know how to respond to that kiss. He knew kissing back would lead to a long-winded trail of events. Ones that wouldn't be good for both of them. So, he neglected that choice. The tears in her eyes glistened as she looked up at him. He couldn't do anything but stare at them. For now anyway. "I... umm.. You're welcome. I"m a bit old for you though." He sat there with his arm around her. "I'm still here to help you, though. No matter what. Ok, sis?" He pulled her in a little more to him. He couldn't leave her now. BUt what point would there be in that? "So, what do we do now?"
Jyta's laugh was filled with tears. Heh. I know. You're not my type anyway. You're more like a brother. I don't have any siblings. Or any other family. I'm an orphan. She took a deep shaky breath. She could not cry anymore. If she did she would shrivel up. What now? I guess I could go back to Janardan... but the only thing worth going there for is the guys. She laughed. She rested her chin in her paw, finally starting to feel drowsy as the sun rose, illuminating the sky with rays of pink and gold. Her eyes started to close, and soon she was asleep.
Not her type? That's safe. Very safe. As she spoke, it reminded him of someone. Someone he met not too long ago. He had a family, but there was something about her that just gave off his presence. It passed though, now wasn't the time to think of other things. " Well, my brothers are your brothers. You'll be fine. I guess I could go back to Janardan... but the only thing worth going there for is the guys. He laughed. It was a good laugh, not like the one he made on the floor. That one was filled with bloodlust. This one actually had something good for it. He looked out towards the slowly rising sun in the distance. He really didn't think that either of them slept that long the first time they tried. Obviously, the next day was already here and ready to begin. Kojset and Jyta, weren't ready for it just yet. As Jyta fell asleep, he positioned her head on his leg. Instinctively, he brushed through her hair with his fingers smoothly. His dad did that when he was little too. It's probably a handed down thing. Soon, Kojset couldn't even feel himself.. and he too fell asleep. The dead body was hastily eaten by deadly fish and some bones came ashore. That didn't seem to bother anyone though... The End?
