When: 81379, Dyo 24. "So this is home." Gavaudine Halton had recently purchased a comfortable home in the heart of the City of Aurius. Double story, two bedroom, three bathroom one study, kitchen and dining area and lounge with carpet to boot! All she had to do now was get her belongings inside, with which she would need some help. And lots of it. Right on cue, there was a knock on the door. Gavaudine rushed out, expertly avoiding the boxes that were strewn all over the place. She opened the door to find Fenrir, her older brother, waiting there. "I heard you had a new house, and may require some assistance with these." He tilted his head towards the large amounts of objects, including a bed, bath and piano. A broad smile spread across Gavudine's face. "I knew you were coming. This seerism will never let anything go unforseen. Imagine if it wasn't my trade."[/COLOR] "I suppose that you would like me to start with the piano?" "Surprisingly, Fenny, no. Sit down, and a drink, something to eat. Take a break for once." A broad grin became a cheeky smile when she added "My bed is much heavier than the piano, you'll need lots of energy for that!" Fenrir shook his head and sighed. "Why do you toy with me so, sister?" "Because you're my brother." she laughed. And with that, she turned and set off to prepare refreshments.
A few hours later... Gavaudine Halton had been watching her brother struggle to bring her heavier possessions inside. He managed, yes, but not before wetting his whole body with sweat. "Oh, Fenny. You're getting old. Older, I mean." She paused to see his reaction to her age joke. She liked nothing better than to toe the line and poke fun at her brother. She was the one person he would not harm, and she knew that. "I remember the days when you could lift three pianos at once without so much as a grunt. But, still, you've managed more than I could have. Get some rest." "Sister, I am only half finished." "We can put them in place another day. You've helped so much. You can sleep here tonight, if you'd like. I have an extra bedroom, and one of those boxes has a bed." "Are you sure? I wouldn't want to intrude..." Gavaudine laughed. "Fenny, for once think of yourself. Your manners are too good for anyone who thinks of themselves. Just stay, for god's sake. There's food in the fridge, and please take some if you're hungry." "You sound like our mother." "Good thing I'm not. I'm going to go now. Bye." At the local market. Gavaudine was surveying the hustle and bustle at the market. It reminded her of the times she would spend with her mother, searching through the many stalls for items of possible value. Thoses were fun times, until mother went missing. BUt that was in the past. Right now, she had business to attend to. She stopped. What exactly was that business?
Out of Character

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't know you edited already!

Khuta wasn't exactly enjoying much of his time. The market place was packed with pendragons. Things to buy here, thing to buy there, everyone seems to be moving and stopping from stall to stall. Except Khuta. He was just bumping and side stepping everyone. Finally the crowd seemed to be moving along. He flicked his two tails as someone stepped on his foot. Without even uttering an apology, the stranger dissapeared. Thats it. He was getting out of this place. What was he even doing here anyway? His parents wouldn't be in a local market... would they? They would be looking for their lost son, right? He was still thinking about it when a femme in front of him halted suddenly. Khuta didn't realise it until when it was too late. He went crashing against the back of the pink haired stranger. "Ooff!" He looked up, no wait, he looked down. She was small. Did he break any of her bones? "I'm so sorry. I didn't see you there. Are you alright?"
Out of Character

Lol, it's OK.

Gavaudine looked up. "Oh, no I'm fine." She tood from the floor, burshing the dust from her dress. Suddenly changin mood, she asked, "My name's Gavaudine , Gavaudine Halton. What's yours?"
Khuta was expecting an angry shout, annoyed comment or at least for the femme to walk away with forgiveness. He was even ready for a slap. But he had never expected for the stranger to introduce herself. "Uh..." he uttered, momentarily forgetting himself. Then he shook his head slighty. "I'm Khuta. He examined her again. "You sure you're not hurt? I bumped into you pretty hard. You know, I think that there's a clinic nearby this market if you ever need one. But, I guess you already know since you stay here. Or I think you stay here..." He realised he was rambling so he stopped. He looked at her and waited for a reply. Why was he so worked up anyway? He sighed. He really needed a nice relaxation. All this travelling was driving his sane mind away.
Gavaudine laughed. "No, I'm sure I'm fine. You do realise that you're rambling? But that's okay, I do that a lot too. My students do that as well. They say that rambling is to do with an unconcious state of mind where you just feel comfortable with talking..." She stopped, she was rambling too. "There you go, you've got me started!"
http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=840Kwerty was using one of the booth's canopys as a sort of hammock. He was wondering why he'd come here. Looking up he realized. It was the view. The view of sea life, the skin of the ocean as it rippled the sun's light. Then as he looked back down slightly he realized exactly where he was. He let out a sigh of grief, and noticed the happening of the two strangers. "This time of year will do that to ya. She should've smacked him." Kwerty whispered to himself laughing slightly. He bounced a few times and jumped down. He jumped back up slightly and reached for his bag. He put it on his opposite arm, took an apple, and started to walk off into the crowd.
Khuta laughed in a deep tone. He does feel comfortable in talking. No matter to family or strangers. It's just him. Confident as ever. "Right, well, since you're okay..." he then gave a puzzled look. "You know, this is a big place and I've been here only a few times, not much, but you look like you're new here. Correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't seen you before. Sometimes Khuta has the ability to pick out new comers from the crowd. It came together when he had his hypnotism trade. It was weird, but Khuta found it quite useful in picking some girls up. Not that he want to pick this femme up. He has more pressing matters to attend to.
"No, I'm not new here. But I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't seen me. I've been coming here with my mother since I was five. I remember those high heels, four sizes too big for me. I always wanted to be like mum. Let me know if I'm talking too much." Out of Character

Writers block strikes again.

Kwerty now blending in nicely with the crowd, just leaning against a wall eating an apple, decided he had nothing better to do. So he sat there and watched the two talk, wondering where they would take it from here. He mostly just wanted to see the guy be rejected, this thought brought a smile to his face. Just tell him off or somthin... he thought to himself. How bored and pathetic he was today........
A fleet of surprise went through his face. How can he be wrong? But then, he don't come here much so how can he be right? He just looked down at her, staring blankly as he listen to her talk. You must love your mom he said with a smile. By the way, you wouldn't happen to know... He trailed off as something bugged him. He turned to look into the crowd. He could be wrong again, but he felt as if someone was watching him. Seeing no one suspicious, he shrugged it off, turning back to Gavaudine. And for a moment, he forgot what he was about to say.
