And there it was, that dream again. Everything now and then she had the same dream, over and over and there was always something new that jumped out at her, it's patterns and colour very distinct. Sometimes it was things that she had back at home... other times it wasn't anything at all, just random blobs that she imagined were supposed to represent shapes of some sort. Gemini had been sitting on the ground on the cool autumn day, back resting against a tree and a book in hand, but somewhere in the warmth of the sunlight that filtered down through the trees she had gone to sleep without much of a stray thought. But, she wasn't one to talk &ndash; who could resist a nice nap on a nice day?

A leaf finally lost its grasp on the branch, and slowly began it's descent drifting back and forth the closer to the ground that it got, and of course it never reached the ground because it landed squarely on the sandy muzzle of the pendragon, startling her and withdrawing Gemini from the soporific-like state she had been in. And with that start, she managed to allow her book to slip from her lap and onto the grass while she tried to get a grasp on her surroundings.

They had not changed, it was still the same courtyard, and from the looks of it not too much late in the morning from which she had dozed off in. She sighed, stretching as she did so, taking notice that her book had fallen from her lap, and picked it up, going from a stretch to a yawn. The leaf had come to slide from her muzzle to her shirt, and just as she went to open up the book, there it sat, the bright orange standing out from the black shirt had decided to wear that day. Without another thought, she picked the leaf off and flung it haphazard into the rest of the leaves that were on the ground, watching it glide and twhirl around before it came to rest completely on the ground this time.</span>

  2. Character: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=710Matt</a>

Matt walked quietly through the trees, rays of ethereal light speckling patterns over his black fur. His feet traced lightly over the soft grass as he looked for a new lace to study, his arms cradling his Biokinesis books. He had two free periods today and he need to catch up with his lessons, he had been studying in the dorm but Jade was in lessons and the humidity was driving him crazy inside. He took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh outside air.

He walked further into the courtyards more wooded area, staying clear of the new buildings and the club. He couldnÂ’t imagine the heat in there, he sighed outwards as a warm breeze tickled his fur pleasantly while silver eyes scanned the area.

His gaze fell on some female sandy coloured Pendragon, the sight of her soundlessly asleep made him smile. He didnÂ’t have the time to sleep. He sat down cross-legged a bit away from her, obscured by the shade of a tree slightly. He couldnÂ’t help but notice her awaken slightly, and when a stubborn leaf wouldnÂ’t stop pestering her he let out a small laugh. He suddenly snapped his mouth shut realising it had been some what loud, he tried to bury himself in his book pretending that he wasnÂ’t looking out of the corner of his eye.

  3. <blockquote><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; letter-spacing: 1px;"><p align=justify>A solitary laugh broke the silence and white noise that had been curled up inside of the sandy 'dragon, and she smiled faintly, remaining quiet. There were few others that had ventured into the forested area &ndash; she imagined were in class &ndash; and her green eyes came to rest on a black furred pendragon, and she noticed his shuffled, hurried appearance. He wasn't the only one that probably could have laughed in her earshot range, but Gemini let her eyes linger over him briefly, taking note of the wings that he had.

She had seen a few other pendragons with wings, and while she had none of her own, she hadn't seen very many of them back home. They were pretty, and she wished that she had some of her own, in a sad sort of way so that she could fly around and see things much easier from the sky than from the ground. But Gemini digressed from the subject, and only pulled her legs up to her chest, setting the book to her side for the time being. She had a notion to continue watching the fellow who had laughed, but figured that she wouldn't have anything meaningful to say.

After all, she wasn't too much of a talker directly after waking up, from whatever sort of nap or sleep she had. The breeze that blew through the trees above her was nice and peaceful, or as she would put in if she were writing something &ndash; halcyon &ndash; and the sunlight was quite intoxicating in it's own way, already wanting to pull her back into a dreamland where she could move through that room again and see all of those odd things.

Without warning, the wind shifted slightly and yet another onslaught of leaves rained down across the forested part of the courtyard, a few pendragons sighed angrily from nearby, their study group disrupted by the numerous leaves that had scattered into their papers and textbooks. They were packing up to leave, and she too, was inclined to follow them, just for the hell of it. Gemini wasn't too new to the entire Academy, but she was new enough to understand what her place was in the chain-of-command sort of presense there was. She was keen to fall through the cracks and be the cheese who stood alone.

Her tan lips pursed together, her knees to her chest and her arms carelessly folded across them, her head soon after to join the position. She ignored the leaves that had fallen on her again, save for a few that had clung to her hair. The wind would probably move the rest that sat on her feet. Instead of attempting to read her book, she hummed a quiet tune, green eyes watching the group of pendragons that were leaving that particular part of the campus. But from the corner of her eye, she was still watching the raven furred student with the pretty wings.</p></font></blockquote>

  4. Matt was ever so slightly keeping half a gaze on the female, his curious mind trying to remind himself whether he had seen her around school. He looked at her sandy coloured fur with cream splashed under her chin, he was sure he had seen her around but that was it. He smiled lightly as he began to read up on his studies again, his mind trying to comprehend new ideas.

His wings began to curl around him while the wind picked its self up, the streamline feathers taking most of the wing up and deflecting them around. He turned his head to see a group of somewhat preppy people being bombarded by clumps of leaves. He grinned at their frustration, watching them with glee as they started packing up to go. He was distracted though as a wave of leaves flew towards him, he focused on them lightly, his biokinesis just giving them a nudge around him instead of into him. He felt the tug of drain on his mind and closed his eyes for a moment resting his head on the rough bark of a tree. He moved his body a little bit getting comfortable while the bark scratched against his back and fur making him sigh, his mind always feel more tired after using his abilities.

He looked over at the sandy dragon in her curled up position, she looked cold in his opinion yet the colours of Tessa suited her, he smiled in her direction and just pulled his own wings up a bit, his own feathers being used like a coat. His tail was swishing quite contently though, his flame making slight patterns in their air with light. He had a impulsive urge to practice some more of his bio and looked for a new target, his eyes drifted upwards to look at the tree above the popular people and a wicked grin spread across his dark lips. He glared at the tree with a sudden intense burst of power. The tree shook one heavily, rocking back and forth from the aftermath with the branches flailing around.

The people below however were almost buried in a immense mass of leaves, the shades of yellow and brown were stuck to their fur as the wind held them in place annoyingly. He grinned as broadly as his muzzle would allow while a mellow chuckle escaped his throat. he was exceedingly please with his work, his smugness striving off the head ache coming on.

  5. <blockquote><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; line-height: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px;"><p align=justify>She couldn't help but be amused at what seemed to be the male's talent of sorts, and she noted how he easily did away with the leaves that threatened landing on him with a simple flick of this and that. It was a trait that her father had, and Gemini readily picked up on the action, thinking over the word in her head. Biokinesis was a trait that she wished she would have inherited, seeing how useful it really was right then and there. She chuckled at the sight of the group of thills that were getting aggravated, and their multi-coloured eyes looked around in the source of where the leaf-y attack had come from, their muzzles pointed skyward as they peered along the thick branches of the tree.

<font color=#269546>"That's quite an amusing skill,"</font> she said quietly, doubting that he would hear her, but it was worth a shot, Gemini figured. Her eyes were more or less now watching as the group once more packed up and moved, this time settling in closer than they had been to her orginally, but they hadn't seemed to notice either the winged thill or her sitting nearby, watching them. Careless buggers, that what they were. Of course, sitting in the middle of several trees was probably going to make matters worse. The wind was still a bit gusty, but it seemed for now that all of the leaves that wanted to depart to the ground had, and there seemed to be a bit of a triumphant look on the tallest 'dragon in the tall, his blonde fur on his head askew from the wind.

They were talking amongst themselves, but she couldn't quite make out what they were saying. It sounded something like a mix of Menlo and machina technology, but she didn't know much about either, and gave up listening and looked over at the black thill, wondering what sort of parlour-like trick he'd play next, a wiry smile spread carefully on her face. She didn't know that there was simple amusement in the simplest of places, and this went to show that someone was eager to entertain.</p></font></blockquote>

  6. Matt grinned to him self while he sat contently, smugly satisfied with his actions of chaos. He was mulling over the joyous sight of the group of thill's running around in a fluster as they tried to settle down again. His smile was somewhat wiped away as the cold breeze waved through his fur, he silently cursed at his natural shorter fur that wasnÂ’t much protection from the elements. He began to tug his deep black wings around him with his silvery feathers acting like a insulated blanket when he heard a voice carried on the wind. His sleek ears twitched to pick up the sound better, catching the voice in his mind.

He looked over to the girl and smiled his thanks, he wasnÂ’t quite sure how to go about yelling across the courtyard and through the wind however he also didnÂ’t want to attract the attention of the group of mindless sheep that were oblivious to their surroundings. He did try however to answer back, his voice not to loud but confidant the deep sound would carry better.

"Thanks, just a little fun, IÂ’m Mat by the way" He said with his smile while throwing his name into the mix yet more so in hope she would give hers, he found him self somewhat curious about her and what she was up to but he was naturally nosy about people anyway.

He looked back over to the group and tried to listen to the semi distant voices and their conversation. As far as he could tell it was about some kind of project with building things, he was mildly interested yet his gaze was drawn by some blond haired dragon that he had taken an instant dislike too the man that he couldnÂ’t describe. Matt was a believer that some people just naturally hated each other no matter how hard they tried, he felt that same annoyance and contempt when he looked at the arrogant guy. His eyes narrowed on him while the branch snaked down from a tree, it was stretching longer and seeping along the floor through the grass unseen. As it neared the dragon, it crept longer as it began to streak to its limit, the bark twisting and warping as it moved, it suddenly snapped upwards like a whip and cracked him along his ass. Matt grinned devilishly as the branch pulled itself back to its original shape in a instant, he looked back over to the girl with a look on his face that spoke more than words while Matt tried to hold back hysterics.

  7. <blockquote><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; line-height: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px;"><p align=justify>A roar of laughter emerged from the group of 'dragons that were sitting, and the 'leader' of the group yelped, spinning around wildly looking for the culprit. Naturally he looked angry, but it soon faded, and she could see that an embarassed look replaced his anger while one of them taunted him from a distance about it. "It totally tried to sodomize you man!" one of them said with laughter. She watched as the blonde furred pendragon threw his textbook at the other, and sat back down, shaking his head. However, she was shaking with quiet laughter, a part of her having desired to sit in with the group to listen to them jeer at their friend.

It looked fun, of course. While they were occupied, Gemini got up, grabbing her book in the process and ventured over towards Mat, moving rather nonchalant as though she hadn't seen anything, and plopped down on the grass next to him, smiling. It seemed like her freetime was going to be quite jocund, after all. <font color=#269546>"Gemini's the name."</font> she said, extending out her hand to offer a handshake. Sometimes she mixed informal with formal, but it never hurt to do that once in a while, she reckoned. And even while it was much chilly than it had been a while ago, she also did her best to ignore it. She wasn't very fond of Mia, but seeing as she had grown up on a mildly temperate coast, it was something that she could put up with &ndash; granted that it didn't get too cold outside.</p></font></blockquote>

  8. Matt was holding back his own laughter at how the others teased the sore one, he covered his mouth in an attempt to muffle the sniggers that he was letting out. They had got lucky so far with the blindness of the group yet he didnÂ’t want to test how much he could get away with.

He saw The girl make her way over and made more of an effort to stop his stupid laughter, he smiled at her curiously though when she offered her hand. He tilted his head on its side slightly and took her hand with his other, shaking it lightly. He wasnÂ’t used to such a formal greeting in a informal place, it wasnÂ’t bad though, in fact he quite liked the idea. The randomness and contradictory of it appealed to his nature while he considered using it himself.

"Hey Gemini, I was just having a bit of fun with them. " He said with a wiry smile that twisted over his face, he was quite pleased with his little handy work and his Bio ability.

He half peered over her at the group who were know very busy, leering and jeering at each other in a hail of banter and throwing things. He thought for a moment what it would be like to be part of the "in" crowd and be able to have friends like that. He dismissed the idea though, from what he had seen they idea of friends was someone you bitched about and stabbed in the back where ever you got bored.

He returned his attention back to Gemini and smiled at her again, he didnÂ’t really know what to say, he sucked at the art of conversation.

  9. <blockquote><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; line-height: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px;"><p align=justify>She nodded at his words, figuring that a little teasing of the other students couldn't always be too horrible, after all. They probably looked like they needed it, considering that they weren't studying&hellip; but then again, neither was her or Matt. <b style="color: #269546;">"So, d'you always do stuff like this when you come to the courtyard?"</b> she blattered on a bit, trying her hand at some sort of conversation. While the group had settled down for the most part again, she couldn't help but feel like someone out of that crowd was watching them, or at least someone from that part of the area.

But, she reckoned that she was just being paranoid over the whole thing. Or, maybe that was just empathy kicking in, for that poor fellow that they had been whapping with tree branches and showering with leaves. She didn't know, but it was truly a funny feeling. <b style="color: #269546;">"My father has that skill, he used to make this parade of flowers follow my mother when she walked around in our yard,"</b> she said with a laugh, thinking distantly about those times. That had been a long time ago too, the way she felt about it.</p></font></blockquote>

  10. Matt smiled broadly at her, he liked being evil to the other students but he wasnÂ’t normally this bad. He thought it was always best to keep the others on their toes, he couldnÂ’t let them get to relaxed, life was never that easy. He was swishing his tail about subconsciously, the furry fox like thing was curling around in the grass subconsciously in a mix of bored and wanting to do more.

"Oh well, they look like they need someone to poke them off their pedestal even if its just for a bit." He said with a smile, he supposed he was quite bitter against people like them yet he had been on the receiving end of some many sharp tongues and foul tricks.

He gave them a quick sideways glance, his eyes searching them our from amongst the green. He thought one looked straight at him at one point but he didnÂ’t hear anything so he shrugged it off. He turned back to her and smiled at the mention of the kinesis.

"I can sort of do that, the flowers sort of dance on the sport though, making them walk is kinda hard" He said in a mixed confusion and thinking hard, he wasnÂ’t that great with it yet he was learning. "So what do ou do then" He asked, trying to find out a little about the mysterious girl.

  11. <blockquote><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; line-height: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px;"><p align=justify>She nodded in agreement with Matt's words, a chuckle added to the mix of things. Gemini didn't mind having a conversation with others, although she was a better listener than she was a talker. When he asked her what sort of skills she had, at first she wasn't sure what to say. The sandy pendragon didn't know how many others were even capable of having the trade of empathy. Some didn't even consider it a skill to have, but she inwardly pulled that aside. <b style="color: #269546;">"Well, aside from the fact that I'm aiming to be a pilot and try and follow meterology, the one skill I've had since I was little was empathy."</b> she said with a small smile.

In a small way, she did envy the fact that he had wings, she would have rather had to deal with a flying course than learning how to control an airship in the air without making it stall out and go to the ground in a fiery mess. Another odd feeling seemed to wander up her spine, the same one from before. <b style="color: #269546;">"And not that I'm paranoid, or anything, but do you ever get that feeling that you're being watched?"</b> she inquired, her head tilting slightly in curiousity.</p></font></blockquote>

  12. Matt tried to sound causally and "cool" but his interested peaked when she mentioned piloting, he enjoyed the thrill of something ever so slightly dangerous. He would like to consider himself a bit of an adrenalin junky, he was often pulling stunts with his own flying but he could never go fast enough unless he was diving. The idea of piloting a massive hulking beast of steel and zooming around just appealed to his spirit, however he looked quizzically at he when she mention Empathy, he didnÂ’t really have much of a clue what that was, all he could figure was that it had something to do with emotions.

"Piloting sounds awesome, but whatÂ’s empathy" He asked curiously, yet instead she just mention the feeling of being watched, he thought for a moment the nodded vigorously.

"Yeah I think one of them may have noticed us, either that or someone else is around." He said with mild concern, he didnÂ’t fancy the idea of having to fight a bunch of people, though flying and kinesis might even things up, assuming they didnÂ’t have any talents of their own. His tail flame flickered in a mild warning.

  13. <table style="width: 400px; padding: 10px;"><tr><td><font style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11px; line-height: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">( i suck. ;; -offers a metal bat to be beaten with.- )

&emsp; Gemini wasn't too sure how she would describe empathy. It was a strange sort of skill to have, often a burden when she wanted to fling herself to other ranges of emotion. Most of the time it kept her stoic, but sometimes she found herself puzzled over the feelings that were so vibrantly on the air. Empathy, in itself was something that was hard to block out. <b style="color: #269546;">"Empathy is... well, I guess you could say that I have an extreme way of understand people, through emotion. It's hard to explain, I'm not sure that I understand it fully."</b> she said, her bottlebrush tail swishing against the ground in as she thought.

&emsp; <b style="color: #269546;">"I guess I can't really give a good explain, hah."</b> she said, smiling in a sad way. Her eyes had left him, and the group that they had been observing and had settle on the ground, but she corrected her gaze back to him after a second or two. <b style="color: #269546;">"One of these days I'll probably understand it."</b> Gemini added, this thing smiling on a better note. As for the group, they were back to chattering loudly compared to Matt and herself, their laughter floating gently against the air.

&emsp; But she still had a bad feeling.</div></font></td></tr></table>

<table class='ooc'><tr><td>aww lol its k, the head hitting stick has given me an idea :P</td></tr></table>

Matt looked at her slightly puzzled at first, then just smiled. He had a bit better idea of it now yet he didnÂ’t expect to understand it if she couldnÂ’t. All he knew so far was that she could feel out other peoples emotions, he didnÂ’t really like the idea of it to be honest. He could just imagine walking around and being bombarded by everyoneÂ’s feelings, plus if someone didnÂ’t like you he thought that would be even worse.

"Well it sounds interesting to say the least" He said with a mix of a grin and bemusement. He was about to attempt another go at small talk when he suddenly, a stone smacked him on the side of the head with a painful whack.

"Oh Feck..... ouch a lot" He said trying not to swear in front of Gemini. He clutched the side of his head, trying to sooth the painful searing pain that was shooting all over his face. He glared over to where the stone had come from to see the group all laughing in their direction with the leader type guy standing with a smirk on his face.

Matt was now screaming inside his head with anger, he knew he wouldnÂ’t win a fight with that guy since his friends would surly dive in so instead he just carried on the Bio attack. He stared with burning hatred at the guy as many a tree branch got ready to whip the whole group stupid.
