Syn woke up 2 days later still dazed from the impact of hitting the rock. Syn tried to get up and move, but then the sharp pain in his wing reminded him that he had badly injured his wing too. Syn looked left, right, to the front and the back of him, but he didn't see any sight of land anywhere.

"Hehehheh......hahahahah.........HAHAHAHAHAAH!" laughed Syn, bitterly as he drifted. "This is perfect.........alone, injured, no food or way or navigation. This day just keeps getting better.", muttered Syn, sarcastically. Syn sat up very slowly and looked around for anything at all. But all he saw was water that spanned infinitely across everything.

"Could this day get any worse?!" thought Syn to himself, now using his abilities to steer him. Syn of course while he was muttering to himself, the sky was darkening and the waves became choppy. The thunder seemed to boom endlessly and the winds blew fiercely. Syn, now seemingly angry, got up and began to use his ability to prevent the waves from crushing him.

"I won't be led to my fate like some ragdoll puppet!", shouted Syn to himself. Syn broke one wave at a time while he managed to keep on the slab of raft. He parted the waves as they came to him each 1 after the other as he tried to main tain his balance. At that moment a lightning strike had struck him down and off the raft, knocking the wind out of him. Syn was soon in the waters, being tossed and turned by the waves. Syn manipulated the waters under him and quickly raised himself above it and formed an ice floe underneath himself. "I'm not done yet!" shouted Syn to the sky. "I don't give a damn what you do.... I'm not gonna die here!!

But soon there was a large wave that towered over him. Syn looked at the wave, his mind going blank, his eyes wide, his mouth open as the wave swallowed him within its watery depths.
