His jacket, jeans and shirt fluttered with the breeze as he was thinking about his future. Averin slowly raised his hand and tried his aerokinesis only for it to backfire at his hand, cutting it. This fluctuation of the fronima was major problem for him since he was always focused inside that area. Slowly he looked to his side towards his home and Alamu’s home. “Hey mom, dad and Alamu’s aunt. I wanted to talk for awhile…” Averin started talking saying his plan for the day. His idea was he was going to ask Alamu to be his mate and to move back into his old house near Magi Lake, which was rather large and well suited for a family. Today was also a very special day, it was Averin’s Hatchday, but to Averin; it didn’t feel special. Afterall what happened at Aurius. Many died and homes were destroyed especially Alamu’s place. He was just lucky he got her and her landlady, who owned the apartment out of there before hell broke loose.
Alamu didn't know what was going to happen, now that her home had been destroyed. Her landlady had been devastated, but after they'd dropped her off with relatives in Mansukh, it seemed she would be alright. The white lukuo was glad for that, at least; there was something nice about having relatives waiting to look after you if you needed it. She wasn't sure where they were going to live now, although she was certain she and Averin would be sticking together. They'd come too close to losing each other not to. Clutching her backpack as she moved through the old town, she smiled slightly as she saw her childhood home come into view, pulling some flowers from beneath her arm. She moved around to the backyard and the shrine she'd built there, murmuring a hello as she knelt down and replaced the flowers in the vase on top of the shrine. She hoped they would live nearby, now, but she supposed she'd just have to wait. Turning, she lifted her hand, attempting to use her telekinesis to pull another gift from her backpack. It fizzled, sending the whole bag crashing into the vase. "Oh, no." She sighed, fixing everything before setting the box on the little table and heading back out. Alamu strolled down the street, looking for Averin as she clutched another gift in her hand. It was his Hatchday, after all, and while she couldn't do everything special she'd planned--the not-so-disastrous cake and ice cream that she'd been planning on making for the two of them--she could at least give him his present, a copy of the destroyed one hidden beneath her bed. Catching sight of her love standing in the street, she picked up her pace, swinging around to face him with a bright smile. "Happy Hatchday!" She giggled slightly, holding the box out before noticing his hand. "Oh. Here, let me get that." She pulled a length of bandages out of her pocket, tucking the present under her arm as she took hold of his hand and began winding them around his wound.
Averin was leaning against a wall or what use to be a wall as he let out a sigh as he talked to his parents and Alamu’s aunt. It was in fact his special day as they claimed. This day is always his special day, but he would of like to have the whole family. Everyone, but that wasn’t going to happen from what was happening to the world now. Averin shoved off the wall to walk away before Alamu spun around yelling happy hatchday, which caused him to smile. “Thank you Alamu.” He said as he went to take his gift before he remembered he cut his hand and wrist trying to use his aerokinesis. What would he do without Alamu, she was always here for him and he was always there for her. Slowly he moved his hand to her to let her cover his wound with the lengthy bandage she pulled out. He gave her a sweet smile as he sat down and lean against the wall once again. Averin offered his hand to her to have her sit next to him as they would celebrate his hatchday. This day would make him twenty-two now. “So what did you bring me love?” He asked looking at her with a sweet smile.
Alamu bandaged his wound deftly before hopping up onto the wall beside him, smiling happily. She dropped the box into his lap, raising one knee and wrapping her arms around it. She leaned against him, smiling. It was so good to be somewhere familiar, even if it brought back bad memories, too. There were so many good ones mixed in, it really canceled those out. She hoped they could make more memories here, too, but there had been no real indication that they were settling down here permanently. They could just be staying temporarily while they looked for another place...the thought, for some reason, made her sad. She curled up a little closer to Averin, staring down at the ground for a moment before she was snapped out of her thoughts by his question. Alamu smiled, squeezing her knee and blushing a little. "Well, I thought it would be nice to have a kind of guardian for our new home..." She shrugged a little, the blush darkening under her fur. It was a statuette of Nera, the god of Life and Rebirth. She wasn't a superstitious person, by any means, but she thought perhaps having him watch over their new home would help keep something terrible from happening again. He could lead them to a new life.
Averin tensed and relax his hand after it was bandaged up before looking at her with a smirk. She definitely had gotten better at medical or healing. When she dropped a box on his lap, he laughed and looked at it curiously. What could she of got him? He blushed when she leaned against him as he slowly opened up the present she gave him. “Wow.” Averin muttered as he looked at the statuette of Nera. Blushing more when he felt Alamu cuddle closer to her him. Averin smiled looking at her as he wrapped his arm around her and held her close to him. “Thank you Alamu. It was really nice of you.” He told her before pressing his lips to her. Averin truly loved her and would give up everything for her safety and to be with her. Slowly he kissed her again before setting her present next to him on the ruin wall. “Would you like to stay in my house at Magi Lake?” Averin asked with a suspicious mind.
