Tessera 13 81379 Warning:pg-13 to R She sat in the ruins, huddled against an old metal pillar, crystalline tears spilling down her cheeks. Her hair was pulled into two too tight pigtails and she yanked at them in frustration. It wasn't often that she reflected on her life, and everytime she did she would cry. Whimpering quietly Vex whipped her eyes, but it didn't cease the tears that ran cruelly down her pretty face. Digging her feet into the sand she looked about hoping no one would see her in this weak, pathetic state.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Who:Gavan Sian</td></tr></table> He was walking through, when he heard someone crying. He followed the crying to see Vex, it made him sad to see her like this he walked over and sat next to her and said "<span style='color:green'>What's the matter?</span>"
Her pink, sorrowful eyes hid a secret that she didn't want anyone to see. Using her wings to shield herself, she quickly wiped her face and from behind her leathery veil she spoke weakly. Nothing. I just got sand in my eye. She tried to stop the occassional hiccups but eventually gave up. Dropping her wings, she looked at her feet and sighed dejectedly.
He looked at her "<span style='color:green'>Tell me, what is making you sad? Is it your sister me, what?</span>" he said, he didn't like his friends so sad like this.
Her sassy, rude and arrogant demeanor just fell off her, revealing the inner most Vex. Its...my life. Sometimes I look at it and cry. She sniffled again and looked at him but only for a moment. She just wished somehow that she had learned to be different, but Vex had turned out just like the rest of her family.
He put his arm on her shoulder "<span style='color:green'>Well the past is...well...the past, maybe like me try to forgwet it, I know it's hard but try</span>" he said soothingly.
She looked at him and leaned onto his shoulder. Its the present that bothers me....I don't change, even though I know I'm hurting those around me. She half smiled at him and his efforts to try to ease her pain. The dearest person in the world to me, my sister, is in love and me and my stupid jeolousy keep getting in the way.
Her tattoo pulsed red as she looked at him. How dare he say that...yet he was right. Snorting she got up and pushed past him. She didn't like people to help her, and she didn't even know why she was tolerating Gavan. Just go away...you don't make things better.
Shocked he said "<span style='color:green'>Fine then. I won't help you, but I was saying the truth</span>" he sighed.
She sighed realizing she was just stepping in her old footprints all over again. Turning back to him she hugged him. I'm sorry... She looked at him, her eyes begging his forgiveness.
She looked at him and didn't let go. She hadn't had a mutual hug in a long while, and it felt good. Burrrowing her head in his chest she continued to sniffle occassionaly.
She smiled at him and pulled away from him. Yea. She pursed her lips and looked around at the ruined city. Her life. That's what it was, but she didn't dwell on it any longer. So how's your day been?
It was fine. She snorted again and balled her hands into tense fists. Earlier had been eventful but then he had excluded that.
