Meandering down the hall on the second floor of the doormitory he drags his bags behind him. Carrying the temp card in his mouth he looked from door to door for his room. AH! There it is. He lifted his hand to his mouth for the card to unlock his door. Just as his fingers touched the card he opened his mouth but didn't grab onto it. He fumbled it and it slid beneath the door. Flopping to the ground he looked under the door and saw the cared a few inches on the other side, "Thes... punmes ull " he sat up and leaned agaist his bags huffing lightly running his fingers through his mane slowly. He looked around down the hall either way then hung his head resting his chin upon his hand staring at the bottom of the door.

  2. He was meandering down the halls, going in no particular direction. Most of the other students avoided him like the plague, and that was exactly the way that Macabre liked it. They didn't bother him, and he usually left them alone...usually.

Today, however, something caught his eye. A young 'dragon seated on the floor, staring at a dorm room door. What on Ramath was he doing? More to the point, how could he not notice the nearly skeletal being just behind him.

    "Something wrong?" Macabre queried gruffly.

  3. Kendo sighed tilting his head back and around atop his shoulders to look at the rather.... boney pendragon behind him, "Yeah... so... you gonna help just outta the kindness of your boney little heart?!" Perhaps it was how he communicated, short, hostile, often times mean. He didn't often think about what he was saying or the size of whomever he was speaking with. Though most would think him incapable of defending himself due to his size.

Standing he looked up to Macabre, "I dropped my temp key and the little shit slid right under the door to my room. So... unless you can help just leave me be. I don't feel like putting up with teasing." he nearly hissed his last statement before leaning against the wall trying to think about how in Fronima he was gonna get his key back.

  4. Eyes narrowing, Macabre's lips parted in a silent, derisive grimace.

"I don't tease." he spat, slinking closer to the door. Normally, he could open the lock easily, but his hardware happened to be in his own dorm room. Going to fetch it would make it seem as if he cared. Still, the snotty little 'dragon had succeeded in sparking a faint bit of annoyance, and Macabre couldn't walk away without getting a jab back at him.

The tip of his tail hovered just above the space between the floor and the edge of the door, and anyone watching could see it begin to shift and change. It elongated, growing thinner, until it fit easily beneath the door. Slipping it into the crack, he placed the tip atop the card and slid it back out into the hallway.

"Easy enough. You could have done it yourself, if you'd actually thought about it instead of throwing a pity party." the ash-grey pendragon sneered, tail reclaiming its original form.

  5. Kendo glared at the other 'dragon and shook his head and chuckled lightly, "Sorry to disappoint you... it was far from a pity party. I was merely thinking of how to accomplish the task," he held out his hand to the card as a small cyclone of wind carried it to his hand. "Too bad I didn't think of that before this cocky dragon came around" he thought to himself as he shook his head slowly and opened his door.

Taking up his bags again he glanced to Macabre, "Besides... I never asked you to help now did I? I unless you could help to go away, not to actually help me," he narrowed an eye at him before taking his bags just inside the door. He hadn't been here an hour and already he was clashing with another student. Though... it did seem to him that this particular student enjoyed and often looked for trouble.

He paused and sighed slightly as he spoke to him, "Thanks..." boy that was painful... and if any one could have seen his face at the moment they would have been able to tell.

  6. Macabre's head canted slowly to the side, a sadistic, mock-sweet grin spreading slowly across his maw.

"Oh, you were thinking? My apologies...I didn't realize you were handicapped. Though, I suppose such a long moment of pondering such a simple task should have been my first clue."

Of course, this was meant to get a rise out of the other 'dragon. Backing away, he clasped his hands in front of his chest, the sickly-sweet grin still plastered on his face. His voice took on the tone one would normally hear from a teacher or counsiler; that of the adament helper.

"You're most welcome, child. If there's anything, and I mean anything you ever need assistance with, feel free to let me know. Ol' Macabre Lullaby will be more than glad to help."

Dropping his arms, the smile, and the facade, the ashen pendragon laughed nastily. Okay, so maybe he did tease...but only when warranted.

  7. Kendo clenched his jaw, as he struggled to hold back his temper. He chuckled darkly as moisture in the air began to solidify into about 2 dozen pellet sized orbs... the grew... to about marble sized spheres, all this in a slplit second and they flew towards Macabre.

"Piss off..." was all he said as the orbs were sent flying at him, not fast enough to puncture skin or anything, but plenty fast to sting and irritate. For that was all he was... an irritation. Kendo thought to himself, "How lucky am I? I have already made a 'friend,' " he shook his head slowly and walked further into his room taking his bags with him, in hopes of his new found 'rash' would not follow.

  8. Ouch. Those stung. Macabre simply stood there as the small hail-balls pelted him, catching one in his hand before it could thwack him in the eye.

"Oh, bathroom you say?" He poked his head into the room. "Each dorm room has their, own, right over there." His low, rough voice had taken on that sweetening tone again, and he pointed to the latrine. "Alas, you've found one thing I won't do. Diapers. You must learn to use the toilet, dear, else you'll run around with a soggy ass your whole life."

Macabre flicked the half-melted ice in his hand at Kendo. "Well, I must be off. Toodles!"

With that, he turned, slinking from the room and down the hall, cackling loudly all the while.

  9. Kendo growled as Macabre left. He stepped out into the hall as he cackled while walking away. Holding out a hand he concentrated and sent a small bit of lightning to zap the bottoms of his feet, perhaps enought to knock him clean over but at the very least make him jump and his feet sore for a while.

Kendo nodded with satisfaction and walked back into his room. He sighed some groaning ever so lightly muttering, "And 'dragons wonder why I am a loner... Tana's sake.... " he shook his head and began to unpack his things. Infact that's all he had were things... no real cloths to speak of. Oh well... one less category of things for a potential room mate to 'borrow.'

Room mate... he wonderd if and when he would get a room mate. He groaned again thinking that perhaps he could get stuck with someone like Macabre... or even Macabre himself. That wouldn't be good. Shaking his head he continued to un pack his things in peace... for now.

  10. Macabre did indeed jump, the shock sending a slight jolt through his body. His fur would have stood on end if it hadn't been tangled together. With a growl, he turned and snarled at Kendo, debating going back and getting even.

Ah, but it wasn't worth getting expelled. He wasn't worth the trouble. Hmmm....there was a possibility for revenge, though. All he needed to do was go down to the registrar's office and ask for a room change.

  11. Kendo finished unpacking everything into a dresser and atop it, on a shelf and made his bed already. He nodded slowly before plopping down on his bed facing the door. He wanted to see when Macabre returned... his type always did at some point.

"It's kind of disappointing when you are here an hour and you already make an enemy..." he shook his head muttering softly and shrugs, "but he seemed like he was looking for it..." he groaned some and took a deep breath. Ahhhh... he was finally able to rest, no classes, no teachers, NO parents, and no annoying 'dragons. he nodded slowly as a smile formed on his black double banded maw. He was going to enjoy this while he could... before he got assigned a roommate or Macabre returned... hopefully the next person to walk through that door would be a bit more friendly. Though... what use did he have for friends? They always ran out on him when things got tough. But who knows... maybe this place was different... it certainly was larger than his old school. So it would suggest that there would be more people... and if there were more people there was more of a chance of finding a good friend type person. He teatered his head forwards and back nodding slowly. He wasn't going to get his hopes up though... it's always a pain in the ass getting let down. Not to mention it hurts a hell of a lot.

  12. Akira started to wonder through the halls as lost as always trying to find her room. She carried two bags on in her hand and one over her should making her lean to the side. Finally she got to the room that she was suppose to be at. As she opened the door she sat her bags down on the floor. "<span style='color:red'>Hello, is there anyone else here?" </span>Akira had a slightly frighten tone in her voice of course she always did when entering a new place.

  13. Blinking the black and white-striped 'dragon shot up from his lounging position on his bed, "Hello there, I mean yes... there is some one in here." He blinked and got off the bed tilting his head to one side some his rather perportionate ears swiveled on his head the silver bands that pierced his ears caught light and glinted slightly. So, he would have a female roommate... far better than having his first - aquaintance - getting stuck in here. That would have been a nightmare. Shaking his head some he ran his fingers back through is main stepping forwards offering a hand to shake, "I'm Kendo..." he smiled plesantly. He almost always kept his manners when infront of ladies. His parents made sure of that early on. "Do you need some help with your bags?" he asked though she looked quite capable of handeling them herself, but it was always better to ask.

  14. Akira smiled a bit as the 'dragon greets her. "no i don't need any help with my bags i just need a little help finding my room," she said with a bit of shyness in her voice. As Akira leaned over to pick up her bags her long silver hair fell around her face. When she stood back up she brushed her hair out of her face with her free hand.

  15. He nodded slowly looking around his newly aquired room, "Well this is room 708... is that where you were assigned? " he asked polietly seeing that the female was shy he tried to back off some, "Even if it isn't you can stay here. I don't have a roommate so..." Kendo trailed off being a little out of his element with this shy girl.

  16. "<span style='color:purple'>yes they told me to come here, and its very kind of you to offer me to stay even if it wasn't my room." </span>Akira smiled shyly as her eyes gave out a slight sparkal when she talked.

  17. he smiled again looking around a little nervous, "Sorry uh... I just got here myself... so I am not too familiar with things around here either." he nodded slowly and sat back down upon his bed letting her get settled if she wished.

  18. Akira walked over towards an empty bed and layed her bags ontop of it. She didn't open either on of them but started to look around the dorm. "<span style='color:purple'>Its a nice size dorm</span>," she said just trying to make conversation.

  19. Kendo nodded slowly looking around the room, "Yes, the room here are much larger than the ones in my old school." he smiled some. At his old school they tended to keep the genders seperated, something about being too young to deal with school and the opposite sex also. Here you were just kind of thrown in the mix with whomever. It was rather intriguing to Kendo. Perhaps this won't be so bad... he though idly then stopped remembering females can read minds to an extent. He looked at her and smiled a bit nervous hoping she hadn't been readnig his at that moment. Maybe this won't be so easy... I am going to have to control my thoughts more... he nodded slowly and took a deep breath and sighed, "Um... I don't believe I caught your name? I think it would be difficult to live in the same room and go without knowing your name." he smiled politely, certaintly not the sort of sneer Macabre had given moments earlier.

  20. Akira was wondering around the rooms as Kendo was talking to her. She really didn't pay any attention to any of his thoughts. As she heard him ask for her name she poked her head around the corner, "<span style='color:purple'>Oh, sorry i have a bad habbit of that. My name is Akira, Akira Grawp and you</span>." She said with a curious look on her face.
