It was rough and strenuous in deeper, bluer waters, but here, the waves lapped gently at the shore line. Beneath the turquoise shallows, a light form glided along the sandy floor like a skimming stone, and surfaced - it was a young pendragon, with ivory, fur-like scales and narrow gills. The Arden pulled himself from the water, and padded onto softer sand, the delicate grains collecting on his paws, gazing around at the unfamiliar land with nothing more than innocent fascination. He was not used to land, having grown up in a small underwater colony, and nor was he used to the icy blue flame that began to flicker away silently on his tail. After all, the water had permanently extinguished it - until now, it seemed. In his four-legged form, he sat down on the beach, big sea-blue eyes admiring the warm scenery mutely without a thought for what to do next. He had a lofty, sinuous figure, as was expected of a Master in the Swimming Trade (though early this stage was for the twenty-six-year-old), and a navy tattoo on his haunch, similar to a forked shape. He was no longer a sea-dweller, but a simple pendragon with an adventurous spirit that caused him to choose the land-dwelling life, with a commendable tattoo that depicted his own name - Neptune.

A young male who sat upon the grassy dunes overlooking the beaches saw the Arden come ashore. He had been sketching the horizion of the sea. He quickly sketched the new comer onto the pad as well. He placed both his pad of paper and his pencil back into his bag. Standing, he slung the almost see through bag over his shoulder and began to make his way down to the beach to greet the new one. He slipped on the sand that covered the side of the dune. He had expected to come in gracefully but instead was a cloud of dust as he sommersaulted down the sandy cliff. When the sand had resettled, he was on his back. He moaned as he stood up. He looked over at Neptune. He reached down to his side where his bag hung aand took out the pad. He looked at the drawing then back at Neptune. "What do you think?" he asked smiling, showing him the almost exact drawing he had created.

He had no idea how the male had done it, but whilst rolling clumsily hellwards, he had managed to retain his dignity. Perhaps it was the smile on the other creature’s face that did it. Neptune smiled back as he showed him the drawing – it depicted a smudge of handsome beach scenery, and, supplely, the white pendragon. He admired it with a raised brow - Intriguing, old lad. OOC: Mind If I pop in? Pselia hummed to herself as she dove into the cold water, her long hair trailing behind her body, glistening in the sunlight. Her long fins splashed through the water viciously as she moved quickly above. She noticed a young male pendragon. She smiled. It had been a long time since she had been in the company of a male, which she so much enjoyed. She sat up on the beach, waving to the young male. "Hello" she said excited. Her milky green eyes lit up at the change she could have some company these cold nights. At least for a while. It would be nice. Her bubbly side began to take over, she was almost over excited. She casually played with the ring she was wearing, waiting for a response.
The land-walker on the beach smiled and waved at her. He was a flirt. They were all girls to him, fins or feet. He looked at her and quickly sketched her into the picture as well, in the watery background of the other.
She smiled and waved back. "Why hello there beautiful, nice to see someone else enjoying the weather". She spread out along the beach, waiting for both responses now. She was such a big flirt too.

The other pendragon seemed quite intent in ignoring his request and blabbering on about his drawing - yes, it was fine. Light sapphire gaze rose as a young male approached them, ignoring Neptune and flirting shamelessly with the other. Er... hello. He murmered, shocked at the female's blatant ignorance. The amusement would come later, no doubt.

He smiled flirtily as well. HI! he replied. What are you doing out here alone. he said sternly.
OOC: Sorry about my short posts. It's early in the morning where I live. She smiled back. She felt she had made a bad impression. If so, she was change into something else. Someone different. Try again. "Is there anything wrong with me being along?" she replied.
He blushed brightly Oh, no! Well, I...uh... he stammered looking for an excuse to pull up out of the air. It's just...uh.... He smiled broadly. Oh, I was just wondering. he said
ooc Huh, stole my thread! *Sulks* Kidding. XD ic Neptune watched the pair ignore him a bit more, then wandered off to find confirmation that he wasn't invisible. Long tail swished irritably, the newly-flamed tip glowing cold blue. He left them to it, wondering if they'd prick their ears at all at his disappearance.
Pselia noticed that the other dragon' had left. She looked at the pendragon whom she was talking to at the moment. "Where's your friend going?" she asked. She began to walk up the hill towards them.
Blind to everything else except one another 'till something happens, eh? Neptune remarked jokingly with a roll of his eyes. He let the pair walked beside him, deciding to take amusement in their outrageous flirting, and had a go and conversation. So, the pair of you... what's your names.
