Tria (Summer), 81379 Character:http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=710Abelmatt</a> Day: 1am, somewhere in the swamp. Matt ran through the swap as fast as he could. He had fled the Academy the day before. It was going to be a full moon and he knew he would change, he could feel it beneath his skin. It was like a dark wave slowly sweeping over his body. As he ran through the swamp, jumping logs and ducking branches he fought with the beast inside. He was still in control but he had avoided the moon light so far. He didnÂ’t know how long it would last. He ran deeper and deeper into the swamp, or so he thought. He wanted nothing more than to be as far away from civilization as possible, he knew he would kill other wise, he GPS strapped onto his leg would tell him where he was once he came back from the change. Once he had ended up in Bhim, how he still didnÂ’t know. He ran more yet now his pace had slowed down, he wasnÂ’t tired but he was losing the battle inside of him. His arm snagged on a branch and it cut his skin, reddish silver blood seeped out of the wound. A thick rich drop seeped down his arm. The coppery smell filled his nostrils and he growled as the intoxicating stench of blood drove him ever closer to the beast. He sagged down against a tree, sitting on the soft ground below. He sobbed quietly. He hated the change.
Auraron had been watching this one closely now. Auraron's master had assigned him a job. His job was to watch over this Janardan student and keep him safe throughout the night, especially since it was a full moon. According to what Auraron was told, this dragon was named Abelmatt. The only other information Auraron knew about the dragon was that he was a werewolf and attended Janardan. That was all Auraron needed to know. Manipulating the winds and atmosphere, Auraron had been tracking this student both silently and steathfully. Auraron's job wouldn't be finished until the sun rose though. Once Abelmatt's change was complete, Auraron's job would get harder, especially if he didn't hide his scent and was discovered. The savage beast would most likely attack him if that happened. Auraron landed silently near Abelmatt. He watched carefully, but kept a close eye on what surrounded both him and the student. Even though he was a vampire, Auraron had virtually no lust for blood. He had a strong sense of self-control which kept him in line, even when he was hungry...
Matt was in his own world now, everything was spinning, he hated the loss of control. He felt heat at first, like a searing pain spreading all over his body. He curled up trying to hide himself from the world, his fist was clenched so hard blood was seeping from his hands were his nails dug in. This started a vicious cycle. As he slowly deepened into the change the nails grew into claws. This made more blood flow, blood drove him wild. The heat pain now shot through his body, every muscle every never explode3d with the pain. His skin cracked and bones snapped. His body was reforming, his muscles snapped and then doubled in size. His muzzles grew slightly longer and his forehead become more bony. His eyebrows became more overshadowing his eyes creating pockets of gloom from which now blood red eyes peered out from. His body was now a hulking mass of wolf and dragon. He feel on all fours now, snarling at the ground. His saliva dripped from his mouth as his rabid aggression took other. He stood up drawing him self to a height of 6"3 he was still stopped however. He was seeking out flesh as his mind sunk deeper into darkness. The beast within had completely took over and Matt was dead to the world. The beast looked around, its blood coloured eyes piercing the night as if it was day. the beast could see in the dark perfectly yet it was to focused on a mud village it knew was near by. It ran forward in giant bounds, changing seamlessly from bipedal to quadruped. Its pace picked up as it leaped from tree to log nearing its prey.
Auraron manipulated the wind which picked up his body and caused it to hover up, high into the sky. He could tell where Matt was headed and he wasn't about to let the creature that was now Matt terrorize an innocent town. Auraron moved above Matt, matching the wolf's pace. Auraron suddenly compressed the air around Matt which would lock him into an air-made cage. Hopefully that would keep him out of trouble for tonight, and since werewolfs don't remember what happened during the night when they change back, Matt wouldn't become suspicious... Auraron watched with content from the sky. He slowly came down, not too far from where Matt was, but still hidden by the brush so Matt couldn't see him. He sat down on the ground and kept his concentration on the airy cage. When the beast wanted to break out and started attacking its cell, Auraron might encounter some trouble holding the prison together...
Matt was in mid leap when the air cage trapped him. He fell backwards, landing crouched down on the bottom of the cage. He sniffed about at first then snarled out loud. His muscles tensed as he prepared to lash out. Lowing him self down with bent knees and arms curled outwards. He dived at his invisible cage and tore at it, his arms and legs hacking at the cage from different angles and sides. he would attack one wall and then spin around to attack another. He was foaming at the mouth, his veins bulged and his attack pace picked up. He dived into one wall with his arms out in front of him and tore into the air wall. The he hacked and slashed at random places no real focus to his attacks. His eyes were burning with hatred at his captivity and then he smashed at one spot repeatedly. Focusing his attacks at one part of the wall. He howled in fury and rage. Then he begin to chant as he attacked, a guttural and violent chant from his thick, deep and powerful voice. "Death....Murder....Slash....Tear....Rip....Eat." Finishing the sentence with a gargling growl before repeating it over and over as he attacked.
Auraron kept his concentration in tact. Whereever the werewolf struck at the airy prison, Auraron felt pain in that part of his mind mind. Being, a master in aerokinesis, however, Auraron wasn't soon going to be in any need to let down his powers any time soon. Unfotrunately, Auraron forget to think about the fact that other wolfish creatures in the woods watched as one of their own kind, in bipedal form, was being trapped by a relentless pendragon. Auraron heard a group of wolf-like creatures pacing around him. Judging by the vague sounds, Auraron guessed that 12 of the creatures were waiting to strike. Suddenly, out of the bushes leapt a howling figure. Auraron motioned an arm and swept it back into the forest from where it came. Yet, the others came, and the creature which Auraron had just moved away persisted as well. Sometimes there was a need to shed blood, and now was the time. As a group of 5 wolves jumped at Auraron, Auraron unleashed a shockwave of electricity which rippled through the air around him, stunning the wolfs and sending them flying into trees and neaby forestry. Some of the wolfish creatures in the pack howled in fury as the pendragon injured their own kind. Other wolf-type creatures heard the call and ran to aid their brothers. Auraron had trouble double tasking to keep the wolfish creatures at bay... triple tasking... quadruple tasking... pentibl- Auraron was suddenly overwhelmed by the fury of the relentless creatures which kept attacking him in greater numbers by the second. Every element of air he had under his control was suddenly free, and so was the werewolf...
The werewolf snarled at the man, he had been watching from his cage still hitting it and howling at his wolf brethren. His primal instincts had taken over and all he wanted to do was feed. He eyed the creature while it fought the wolfs, although the Pendragon inside was basically dead, the beast wasnÂ’t dumb, it may have been feral and maddened by food but it watched. It watched until an opportunity presented itself. He saw it, at one point 3 http://shadowlack.com/life/fauna.php?id=100Thaga</a> had dived at him at once. The matt wolf jumped a second later. His claws outstretched at the Pendragon as he spring boarded onto a tree, then his powerful legs pushed off and he flew straight for the Pendragon. He was 350 pounds of muscle, sinew and bone. His razor edge claws were keen and the beast could almost taste blood. Fresh blood. A loud growling roar filled the swamp.
Auraron felt the thaga clambering onto him, biting into his flesh. To make matters worse, the werewolf was out of its cage and was coming right at Auraron. Auraron willed the winds and he was blasted into the sky where he hovered 7 feet above the treetops of the jungle. He felt the sting of small claw and bite marks. He watched the werewolf and its bretheren all fall into a pile where he had been when they had been lunging at him. Auraron wasn't too worried about the werewolf, he was more worried about the number of wild animals trying to attack him. The great number of thaga howled towards the sky at Auraron after seeing that catching him while he was in the air would be nearly impossible. The creatures wandered away. Auraron had a better idea. Instead of locking the werewolf up on the ground, he would simply do it in mid air and leave the creature suspended through the night. At least packs of thaga couldn't attack him then... Auraron gracefully landed on some treetops and began to focus on his new plan for trapping the werewolf...
Matt tumbled into a pile on the floor yet forwards rolled and landed on his feet staring up and at the dragon. He snarled at the floaty man, he wanted nothing more than to rip out his throat and eat his heart. He wanted to smash his head on a rock and stomp his brains out. He howled in fury. "Gonna eat you" He said viciously in his primitive voice that echoed hatred. He ripped up the nearest tree which was about 7" high and flung it at the man in the air then jumping to a near by tree and spring boarding after then man in a blur of super enhanced speed. He was flying at full weredragon super speed with his claws bared and ready to rip and render flesh as he roared shaking the very swamp.
Auraron was thrown to the ground by the savage beast. His situation didn't seem to get better as the wild thaga that had been howling at him were moving towards the area he had fallen to. Some nights didn't go as planned, and this was one of them. The wild animals assisting one of their kind had thrown off Auraron to a major degree and now his mind worked quickly to find a solution. What Auraron needed was a hiding place.... At Auraron's whim, a thick fog began to cover the area. Noises of the swamp became muffled as the fog seemed to cushion the noises. Auraron also needed a stronger way to conjure electricity. At his command, Auraron soon heard the growling of a storm as it came over the horizon to assist him and slowly began to envolope the sky. In time, the moon would be covered in dark clouds and the werewolf's powers would lessen to a slight extent. That would most likely give Auraron the edge he needed if he wanted to capture the creature again. Auraron heard the thaga lurking around a small perimeter around himself. Auraron needed to do something about those creatures as well... If the storm was bad enough, the thaga would seek shelter rather than try to fight Auraron. Auraron would make sure that the storm looming closer would scare the thaga many miles away from him. Until then though, he needed to survive and wait. Auraron erected a lightning barrier around him. Hopefully it would hold until his storm arrived.
Matt stalked around the fog, his now yellow eyes could pierce the nights darkness and well as the infernal fog which covered the land like a blanket. He and the Thaga didnÂ’t need their eyes anyway, they could smell their way around just as fast. He knew where each one was as the paced around the glowing ball of light that surrounded the man. Matt had a plan to use the fog absent him. "Gonna kill you" His mangy voice uttered out, then with a burst of wolf energy than silently moved him around to the over side of the man. He was now completely opposite where he had spoken and he hadnt made a sound, he was well hidden in the fog. Its damp white clouds hiding his black fur like black on black. He was like shadow within shadow. He made sure the Thanga where angry, they snarled at the glowing man, his lightly trapped him in a bubble. Matt forced the Thaga to attack first, they didnÂ’t want to though they feared the lighting shield. He used his powers over them, his desire to feed making him stronger than ever. His blood lust was a fury that boiled inside of him. It flowed though his veins, pumped through his heart. Yet he knew this one was too powerful so at the same moment the Thaga ran towards him, he ran. The other way. He let his powerful dragon muscles carry him as fast as he could towards the village. He needed to feed to bad. His curse controlled his mind and gave him the strength to run faster than no normal creature could.
Some things were too easy. Auraron's plans fell into place like drops of water falling into a stone basin. As the thaga lunged towards him, Auraron let the winds silently carry him upward. He was unaffected by his own electrical field as he moved through it. However, as Auraron quickly moved into the sky, he forced the wind to hold his scent in place. As Auraron moved into the sky, he heard the thaga colliding into each other, fighting at nothing. Auraron moved back over to where the werewolf was trying to escape to. He landed in front of the beast, staring it down with a motionless expression. By this time, clouds had begun to move over the moon and lightning flashed nearby. The storm was brewed up...
Matt snarled at the man, as smart as the beast was trying to be its couldnÂ’t control ist mind effectively. Its hunger was too great, the beast had to deal with its own beast inside its mind, constantly urging it to feed. It managed to regain some self control, skidding to a halt in front of the man, racing back to where it had came from in the blink of an eye. It pounced on one of the Thanga tearing into it, ist claws rendering flesh from bone. His teeth sunk into ist hide and he tore outs its throat savouring the sweet blood. It snarled again this time its mouth dripping with thick, rich, crimson blood that oozed ist way down. His black fur was covered in the red goo that shined in the last on the moon light. He had time for one last attack, much of the night had gone and the nights of Tria where short at best. He crouched low, not caring that he was making his approaching attack stupidly obvious. "Gonna bite you, gonna make you" it said full of vindictive spite. It had practically spate the words out, blood flying from its mouth in tiny droplets as it spoke. It launched its full weight against the man as it dived in one powerful burst of energy. He wanted to bite off his leg and let the curse take him. If he had know he was a vampdragon he would have bothered but he was a stupid feral weredragon.
Auraron dodged away from the beast. Using the wind to move him about, he could move in the blink of an eye. He seemed undisturbed by the creature's comments. Auraron kept a half eye on the over head clouds which had covered up all of the sky by now. The time was right. In the blink of an eye, lightning struck from the clouds looming over head. A crack and a loud boom occured in front of Auraron. The beast had been struck by lightning. Auraron was hopeful that the 1 million watts and superheated air would keep the werewolf at bay for a while. Assuming that the creature didn't die of a heart attack...
He had growled in frustration at again another miss just before his fur set ablaze. The lighting had cracked him straight in the back, it had knocked him out of mid air and slammed him into the ground. He was in sheer agony, hid body burned and his muscles pained him to move, sending ripples of pain waves through every never he possessed and some he had never felt before. He howled out in pain and rolled around on the wet ground snivelling and curled up. His GPS was all fried on his leg, that too had brunt away at his flesh. Slowly but surly his wounds began to heal as his mind slowly awoke to its agonising pain. Like a dull ache his body healed the broken bones and scars till no signs showed except internally. As the last of night drifted away to an early summer morning, he coughed up some blood being fully back again still curled up on the floor.
Auraron was inclined to leave the dragon alone and let him find his way back to Janadan. However, two problems presented themselves. First, Auraron was responsible for frying his GPS system which was now popping and sizzling. The young dragon would never find his way back to Janardan without guidance. Secondly, the thaga were still restless and hungry. Now that Matt wasn't a werewolf anymore, they began to look at his flesh as a possible food source. Auraron made up his mind quickly, as the thaga got closer. He grabbed the body of Matt and took flight into the still cloudy sky. He made his way back to Janardan at quick, but steady speeds...
Matt was woken by a strange lurching sensation in his stomach. Out of instinct he sniff out where he was, his nose will filled with the smell of a man while he could see the ground. He opened his eyes like little slits and peered out to see a man holding him and the sky and clouds whizzing by in ever second. As eh became more aware he felt the wind running through his fur, the breeze was strong as it ruffled his mane. He felt very weak, like his strength had faded from him. "Who are you." He asked feebly, his croaky voice was just as pathetic as his current condition. Matt groaned s he felt his back against the mans arms, the flesh their was slightly tender yet it confused him to think backwards. Slowly his thoughts trailed back to him, the events of him running through the swamp as he began to change then it was all dark. His mind began putting things together, Matt assumed that the man had found him curled up some where and had found his GPS and could see where he is from, either that or his was being taken to the police. He didnÂ’t have the strength to fight back, he just closed his eyes again and drifted off to the land of un conciseness again.
